I was in a used book department of a thrift store and picked up Grohls book on Sunday, and read the chapter on Cobain being found dead and that's why I remembered.
It put me into a funk and I was in a gloomy mood for a while, thinking of the people who were so lost and who I just walked away from, thinking, there isn't any thing in common with them, they don't get it.
But Kurt, he did get it. I figured he was really a Christian at heart, even though he was still in that 'I need to get approval of liberals' stage that so many are in.
He wanted a family. He loved his wife. He was trying to do what he thought was right.
but Seattle was such a blackhole: the drugs would grab on and drag people down.
