if my college/work forces me to use a certain (almost always proprietary) program and there's the option of using a web version instead of having to install the program on my local machine, I'm always going to pick the web version because that shit's (reasonably) samdboxed from my system. (using a college-provided system isn't an option right now because of corona, and I work in retail, so there's no room for negotiation there.)

without Javascript, that option is nonexistent for me. and not all my devices are powerful enough to run a Windows 10 VM to put the botnet in instead, whereas they /can/ run a web version. and when the class/job is done, I can just stop visiting that page instead of struggling to weed out whatever mess the program shat all over my system.

TL;DR Javascript is good, actually, because the alternative is far worse

So it seems that search engines, the internet, instant messaging, Windows OS, Intel hardware, cell phones and firewalls and antiviruses are all Jewish. The internet was invented by Leonard Kleinrock, Paul Baran and Bob Kahn, all of whom were Jewish, and the rest were also invented by Jews. The Ethernet however was invented by two gentiles, so I guess if some Jew haters wanted to avoid all Jewish products/inventions, they would have to remove everything that connects to the internet, including other applications like email, Discord, etc. I'm not too technically competent, but how would one go about building their own internet that anyone can connect to via Ethernet?

While Tor has never been the best at the anonymity and security thing, a neat little feature that gets overlooked is it providing a static address that's immune to NAT and other issues.

However I can't find many examples of it being used as a gratis virtual overlay network exclusively for personal webhosting (excusing the usual niggerly criminal sites). What personal sites there are, are using it as a backup/alternative to the primary clearnet Internet connection.

Hmm. It would be cool if the late-90s/early-2000s era of having a personal websight was a thing again, instead of idiots just locking themselves into ¢orporate Internet.

pic related; putting it into action for my own site. If someone is too helpless to manage Tor Browser, they're not going to want anything with me anyway..

The Apple didn't have color RAM or the like, and the program and hardware only know monochrome bitmaps. The fake color is added by emulators to emulate the NTSC chroma phase effect that the Apple][ used to produce color.

The dsk format only showed up about ?1996 (.do and .po was in use before then). That PNG was probably some embedded thumbnail used by a DSK Browser program.

Guys, i did some HUGE shit by mistake, i was using testdisk and from analyzing disk data I set an option to Maximize Extended Disk Space in an attempt to re-allocate some unpartitioned free disk space into my current archlinux system.

What it actually did was destroy the last Disk Partition where I actually had stored all my study projects, passwords, links, instructions.

This very partition now exists as unallocated free space. How do I recover that data?

Testdisk seems like a lost cause for this now. :(

Suggestions for a conservative non-SJW OS (Linux or other) without all the CoC insanity? Has to support browsers that actually works on modern websites.

From what Ive seen so far OpenBSD seems like an alternative. Possibly Haiku? but Im not sure if they have been infected...

Im using Dissenter and Brave as browsers. A GAB Linux or something would be cool. Or PepeLinux.

I think different linux distros are for the most part bullshit and what really matters in linux distros is desktop environments and themes of those desktop environments, most of the time!

GAB has a lot of problems. It's just a poorly administered Mastodon. I think the solution is to bun out the garbage. Most of the SJWs are just bullies who have a new word game to play to fuck with honest people. I propose that we adopt this memeplex to reduce the SJW's attack surface.

For example:

- They hate white men. On the internet claim to be a black woman.

- They want to be a special snowflake with special pro-nouns. Always self identity as a pronouns they forgot to address and be a real Karen about it; always complaining to HR and admins.

- If this sounds like your are giving them what they want, wait? what these bullies want is a back door to societal norms. Most of how this stuff works comes out of old ideas like "we have to help our little brown brothers" and "women's suffrage". Idiots between ages 40 to 60 think this is how sociaty should be. They like black bully being ten-a-penny down at the local prison and fun exotic cultures that give birth to Elito Rogers and Boston Bombers in their neighbourhoods. They are their own extinction. Our goal should be to make the SJW a new banded patriarchy. Really no such conspiratorial organization as the Patriarchy ever existed. But try convincing a librel-arts major of that. What you can say is that because of institutional bigotry towards trans-robo-afro-... americans you get to go first in line and eat all their share.

The simple truth is to turn it on it's head. Identity politics can be for everyone.

Hi, also a linux user here, try using gimp(hard to use but you can get used to it but does a lot of stuff photoshop does) or something that a lot of people don't really mention try Pinta it's kind of like Paint.net for linux but it's kinda crash prone.
