If someone had only stepped in to save her when she needed saving, whether at 15 at the start, or when she got pregnant and sent to live with someone, or met someone wonderful, her life would have been spared in this world and the next. A hero needs to step in; this shock manga is a scenario in need of one.
Maybe not even a potential spouse, just someone who can really help and do the right thing. The story is supposed to be horrible, on what not to do.
