There isn't that many characters. Though it did air quite a while ago.
From the OP, it seems like they'll be doing something with the old guy behind the orphans experiment.

The look of the show have gotten a bit better since 2013. Looks crisper.

Have you checked out accelerator's show from last year? I'm watching right now. Missed it when it was airing.

This show is so comfy. Wonder how the gad guys in the governing board of academic city will try to make a level 6 esper this time.

Why would Misaki hurt one of the cute sisters? Isn't she supposed to be pretty good-natured?

What is the correct order to view them in?
Like Magical Index first (3 seasons), then Railgun (first two seasons), then Accelerator, then Railgun again (Season 3)?
What do you recommend fam

Index 1, Railgun 1 & 2, index 2, accelerator. Worked for me. I haven't seen the index movie, so I can't comment on it. I also skipped most of index 3 since I thought it was pretty poor. If index 1 isn't your cup of tea, it's skippable too, since some events are repeated, in a better way, like the sister's arc, in the railgun show. The second index season is very good, but that part of the franchise has some duds.

Just wanted to say this. It gives it more time and the MC is more emotionally involved in that arc so it has more impact.
I watched Railgun (1 and 2) and then Index and I can't say it spoiled anything for me.

Yeah, Misaka is also somewhat different in her own show. She goes from arrogant to humble. She's less violent towards Touma, and her attacks on the vending machine are justified. She's retconned into a proper waifu.

Can I just skip index and go right for binging railgun and then accelerator? Maybe leave Index for last?

You want to watch index 2 before accelerator. Otherwise, that's fine.

Nevermind. It's been a while. The first index season has some important accelerator stuff in the final arc. Great stuff too.

I personally would recommend watching Railgun 1&2 before the sisters arc in Index.

Maybe Index (as the main series) fans got a bit too disgruntled with how J.C. Staff handled that one to be that interested? I know Railgun's usually handled more favorably, but I personally don't find the fact that they've replaced Gunha's Rising Sun shirt (the one that prompted the "Captain Japan" nickname many years ago) to bode well. Like they're trying to avoid offending potential viewers from China, Korea, or any other country that considers it a sign of oppression.

You'd be better off reading the light novels for Index (Old Testament's gotten purged from where fan translations had been hosted at Baka-tsuki due to being officially licensed here, but you should still be able to find them if you dig through archives; probably even other LN series you might care about), or if you have to watch something, watch the first season of it. Least abridging of the three.

I've decided to binge both Index and Railgun. Honestly I like both. Index is the darker anime with some fun moments while Railgun seems like a Slice of Life with action in it.
I've been going back and forth between the two, doing Index 1 then Railgun 1, then Index 2 and Railgun 2 etc.
That isn't the correct chronological order though.
