I was a volunteer on this board back veeeery early when it was very active. I'm glad to see people posting on it again. I've helped a lot of girls going through this stuff back in the day, though it's kind of different these days. In my experience, it just never stopped being like that completely. I still don't know much. Today's world is way too isolated due to, ironically, overpopulation. Too many people around and suddenly I find myself unable to get close to anyone. I still more or less talk to a few of the old crew from the old friend groups, but almost everything I used to be involved with had a majority of people just move onto other stuff.
Do either of you do any gaming? Casual gaming is one of the few things that still sort of just feels the same for me and still feels somewhat meaningful.

What would you want? Open world with 24 players seems the most logical next step. Mario Kart 8 was insanely boring. Having an actual world to explore instead of just racing the same tracks over and over again seems great. It's overpriced, but that's just general inflation.

Yeah, that's because there isn't a lot new they can do with Mario Kart, so the fact that there is as much new about this entry as there is strikes me as a pleasant surprise. Simpler stats, sexy outfits for Peach and Daisy to wear, exploring an open world, these are things I'm grateful for. And especially the ability to drive around the open world with friends, assuming I have friends in a month and a half who have Switch 2's with Mario Kart, because that system is hard to get a hold of.
Inkling, Shizue/Isabelle, and Diddy Kong better be in there as unlockable characters, though. They friggen included a COW as a playable character…
