Just going to give a brief overview of what this obnoxious mind virus is and how it works. First and foremost, if you've ever been accused of "disrespecting the lived experience" or doing "microagressions," this ideology is best served by calling it "postmodern critical pedagogy" although this would always be denied by those practicing this obnoxious creed.

So what is it exactly? Its composed of several parts.

1. Denies fixed meanings to words. Everything is up to the interpreter, or groups of inpreters.

2. Society and institutions are governed by a cadre of leaders who have set the system up as benefiting a certain group. All communication is set up for this group in norms and exchanges. Other groups are deliberately filtered out.

3. Society as practiced by everyday citizens of the "privileged" group unconsciously contribute to the system of oppression whether they realize it or not. Thus they are oppressing certain "others" who are forced to participate in the society.

4. The way to fix the situation is to acknowledge that minority viewpoints have been excluded from the "popular discourse" and so start integrating other "ways of knowing and seeing."

5. Persons of affected groups are afforded their own "standpoint" upon which they can discuss certain topics and those from other "positionalities" are not permitted to speak on subjects involving affected groups. Only the affected groups can speak.

6. To violate number 5 is to be engaged in the act of "epistemic violence" or essentially "word violence" by practicing exclusion the minority group and their standpoint, knowingly or not, by asking them to engage in things like "providing evidence," citing research done by western institutions, or even practicing the scientific method. This is seen as asking them to engage in hostile discourses that are set up for the privileged group. This is where things such as "microaggressions" and "systemic oppression" come from.
