I loved history growing up. I eventually studied in college to become a historian. I always skirted away from 20th century history because most of it felt inorganic at best and emotional propaganda at worst. I watched the movie zeitgeist from 2007 and then watched an Eric dubay video as a joke, to see what “conspiracy theorists” believed. YT recommended a short video about the space shuttle challlenger, and to me, that was irrefutable proof that I’d been lied to about history. I then asked “what else I have been lied to about,” and watched the greatest story never told. Then the illusion fell away and down the rabbit hole I went.

I've been prepared for blackouts for a long ass time and I don't even live in any major city and only seldom have short blackouts after a storm. Whole house propane generator, 12V batteries and power inverters with solar trickle chargers for the 12V batteries to juice them up after use. I can keep my deep freezers and refrigerator running intermittently for weeks if need be. Plus a couple portable propane stoves for cooking off-grid.

When you get older you just start to realize that #1 yes there are greedy, selfish, nasty, corrupt assholes everywhere around the world and #2 the best you can do is live your life and not fall victim to their endless lies, wars and other bullshit and do what is in your own and your own families interest.
