Only included in the magazine version and the very first print, it originally had fifty + hand drawn pics abd I'm on a mission to find them and add them to the internet archive for all to see. Sadly it's true, even one of his main men Covington, had to face this factor after his death. (This Is how I found out about this saddening news) In responce he reformed the good apects from peirces controlled operation into the Northwest Front a few years later, and even created some amazing books, the Northwest Novels, most notably The Brigade. In retrospect peirces work did have some seriously suss aspects that lead me to question some of his work. But the book he wrote is iconic and should be respected even if the author had some less than valiant natures.
