Americans were better off 80 years ago than Americans 50 years ago, just like Americans 30 years ago were better off than Americans today. This country has gradually gotten worse and worse because of increased national debts, bigger and bigger governmental budgets, bloated bureaucracy and economically-prohibitive over-regulation, industrial outsourcing, endless wars, increasing corruption, increasing monopolization of the economy, polarization of politics, etc.

There is not a single Republican or Democrat that can fix this because they themselves caused this utter disaster in the first place. It's like living with a drunk and politely asking the drunk to stop drinking up all your booze, and yet you keep bringing more booze into the house…. like what the fuck would you expect to happen otherwise?

It is delusional to even think Trump alone can fix the utter mess this country has been thrown into over DECADES of bad failed third world foreign, domestic and economic policy. There is no easy fix to years of industrial outsourcing, $38 TRILLION IN DEBT, years of open border invasions, the covid scam that ruined entire local economies in the US, the normalization/tolerance of violent crime in the cities, the closure of many power plants under Obama, etc. The decades of damage done to the US will take at least another decade or two to fix even if we elect someone far better than Trump. All it takes is 4 more years of another catastrophe like Biden and this nation is too far gone, much like the UK and Europe already is today.
