I think flushing some of the lower quality threads would be a good idea rather than leaving them up for a month. Although to be fair the general quality of threads and comments is easily several times better than the average 4chan thread today.
I only lurk on 4chan, haven't attempting to post on there in months since they did that 120 second censorship while allowing a certain group of spammers to post whatever they want to.
