Iran to resist until US leaves region: Army spokesperson

"…Iran's army spokesman said Wednesday that Tehran will resist until American interventions in the region are neutralised, stressing that the Strait of Hormuz is under full Iranian control.

Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami Nia, speaking at a ceremony in Amol marking the martyrdom of the late Leader, said the United States mistakenly believed that striking Iranian coastal bases could allow it to seize control of the strategic waterway.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran is capable of exercising control over the Strait of Hormuz from every point of its territory, and this matter is never dependent on the coasts and islands", he said.

He said countries that have given the U.S. military bases are now paying a heavy price in trade and security.

"Imported security is not lasting security. Real security is achieved when the countries of the region themselves provide stability and calm, without the presence of foreigners", Akrami Nia said.

The spokesman warned that if the enemy insists on continuing its strikes, Iran possesses capacities that have so far not been used and that could affect the region's equations.

He said the conflict has been managed and that Iran can sustain it for years if necessary. "The enemy does not have the capacity for a prolonged war, and this is one of its main weaknesses", he said.

Akrami Nia expressed confidence that the U.S. president would shift his position in the coming days and eventually seek dialogue, peace and an agreement. He said the dignity of Iran and the Islamic Republic is the precious legacy of the martyred Leader, and that the Armed Forces draw their strength from the support of the Iranian people…"

US sends dozens of refueling aircraft to Israel as attacks across Mideast intensify

"…The U.S. is sending dozens of refueling planes to Israel ahead of a possible expansion of military operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In coordination with the Israel Defense Forces, the U.S. has decided to reinforce the "existing fleet of aerial refueling aircraft stationed in Israel with additional refueling aircraft", an IDF official told JNS on Saturday.

The move is a part of a U.S. adjustment to its "force posture in the region", the official continued.

The refueling aircraft will land at Israeli Air Force bases to "minimize disruptions to civilian air traffic", as well as due to "operational and logistical considerations"…"

US soldiers should flee region as soon as they can, senior Iranian MP warns

"…A senior member of Iranian parliament has warned American soldiers not to waste a moment to escape from West Asia as Iran intensifies its retaliatory strikes against enemy targets across the region.

Ebrahim Azizi, who chairs the parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, issued the warning in an X post on Sunday, one day after Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei said that the United States will suffer "unforgettable lessons" if it keeps attacking the Islamic Republic.

"If US troops truly understood what our wise Leader meant by 'unforgettable lessons', they wouldn't waste a single second fleeing", he said.

For eight consecutive nights, the terrorist US military has conducted waves of destructive aerial assaults on Iran and reinstated a blockade of Iranian ports in flagrant violation of a war-termination deal. It has committed war crimes by deliberately targeting civilian facilities and killing dozens of people.

In response, Iranian armed forces have launched heavy reprisal attacks against strategic American targets across the region…"

Ship ablaze in Strait of Hormuz after attack; crew rescued

"…A vessel is on fire in the Strait of Hormuz after being hit by a projectile.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said, "The crew safely abandoned the vessel and have been recovered by a tug boat".

The attack occurred 8 nautical miles (15km) northwest of Kumzar, Oman.

"The fire has not been extinguished and the vessel is currently adrift", it said in a statement. "Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO while authorities investigate"…"
