This chart from a 2019 study "Evidence for Recent Polygenic Selection on Educational Attainment and Intelligence Inferred from Gwas Hits: A Replication of Previous Findings Using Recent Data" by Italian Davide Piffer shows not only the extreme differences in IQ between ethnicities but the significant and strong correlation between population IQ and their EDU3 polygenetic score.
The EDU3 polygenetic score for a population is obtained by measuring the frequency of gene variants associated with "higher educational attainment".
Piffer reports a correlation of r=0,90 between EDU3 scores and IQ scores of a given population, constituting a strong inter-correlation between the measures. An r value of 0,90 means that roughly 81% of the variance in IQ between populations can be explained by their EDU3 score, which intern is derived from their genetics.
