Lord Ahmed: Ex-Labour peer jailed for child sex offences

Disgraced former Labour peer Lord Ahmed of Rotherham has been jailed for five and a half years for sexually abusing two children in the 1970s.

He was found guilty in January of a serious sexual assault against a boy and the attempted rape of a young girl.

The abuse happened in Rotherham when he was a teenager, Sheffield Crown Court heard.

Passing sentence, Mr Justice Lavender said his actions had had "profound and lifelong effects" on the victims.

The court heard Lord Ahmed, who was tried under his birth name Nazir Ahmed, attempted to rape the girl twice in the early 1970s, when he was aged 16 or 17 but she was much younger.

The attack on the boy, who was aged under 11 at the time, also happened during the same period.

The 64-year-old had denied the charges, calling them a "malicious fiction", but a phone recording of a conversation between the two victims in 2016 showed they were not "made-up".

The judge said the offences were "so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified".

He said: "Your actions have had profound and lifelong effects on the girl and the boy, who have lived with what you did to them for between 46 and 53 years.

"The statements which they have made express more eloquently than I ever could how your actions have affected and continue to affect their lives in so many different and damaging ways."

The victim of the attempted rapes, who cannot be named due to the nature of the offences, said she had lived with "an overwhelming feeling of shame".

She told the court: "It was a burden I was made to carry, and it silenced me for many years.

"It is now time for me to pass that burden to him - the paedophile who I know feels no personal shame."

The male victim, who also cannot be named, said in a personal statement read out in court: "I buried the abuse and carried it with me on my own for years and years.

"I feel shame because of what these men did to me."

In court number seven at Sheffield Crown Court today, both the judge and defendant could technically be addressed as "my Lord", "your Lordship" or any other variation of the title.

Lord Ahmed sat in the dock wearing a smart suit and tie, listening to barristers and a judge discuss his sentence.

One victim came to the witness box to describe the impact the peer of the realm had on her life.

"He is a paedophile who has no personal shame. But in the end, all tyrants fall," she said.

A statement from the second victim said: "This is not about revenge, this is about justice."

And part of that justice is wanting to see Lord Ahmed stripped of his title and known forthwith by his real name, Nazir Ahmed.

They don't want him to use his title to impress anyone again.

The judge told him his actions had a profound and lifelong effect on his victims. He stood to listen to the judge but showed no emotion.

Shortly afterwards, Ahmed picked up his rucksack, waved at his family and disappeared through a door to start his five-and-a-half year sentence.

Ahmed, who was convicted following a retrial, resigned from the House of Lords in November 2020 after a conduct committee report concluded he had sexually and emotionally exploited a vulnerable woman who sought his help.

The inquiry into his behaviour followed a BBC Newsnight investigation.

There have been calls for him to be stripped of his title. This would require an Act of Parliament but none currently exists.

Ahmed was charged along with his two older brothers, Mohammed Farouq, 71, and Mohammed Tariq, 65, but both were deemed unfit to stand trial.

Both had faced charges of indecent assault against the same boy abused by Ahmed.

Though the men did not face a criminal trial, jurors concluded that they did commit the alleged acts after hearing evidence in the case.

Both men were given absolute discharges after the judge said the only other two options - a hospital order or a supervision order - would not be appropriate in this case.

Sarah Champion, Labour MP for Rotherham, paid tribute to the "courage, bravery and determination of the victims".

She said: "The verdict in this case sends a clear message to offenders: no matter your power or your status, justice will be served, however long it is eluded.

"The fact Mr Ahmed is able to retain his peerage makes a mockery of our honours system. I urge the government to bring forward legislation to enable his title to be stripped from him."

The timing of this piece cannot be accidental & so we can speculate that this is another step along the road to lifting covid19-related “measures”.

I urge readers not to breathe a sigh of relief & prepare themselves to resume something approaching a normal life, as if a natural phenomenon is at last fading away. The entire “covid19 crisis” is deliberate. Ask yourself what motives there may be for a global scale fraud & what might be expected as this deceit is being exposed, step by step. Consider what needs to happen to those guilty of planning, executing & lying about this “crisis”, which has stripped billions of people of their freedoms & other human rights for almost two years.

Other recent steps have included acknowledgment that cloth masks are wholly ineffective, that fewer people have died as a consequence of infection by this alleged virus than from influenza in a typical ‘flu season, that lockdowns were ineffectual & unnecessary. Those with some technical knowledge & capable of reasoning have known all of this & more fir a very long time and published scientific & medical literature supports every one of these contentions. Those advising governments knew all this beforehand.

We do not, however, yet have acceptance by the authorities anywhere that the gene-based “vaccines” are ineffective yet extraordinarily toxic. Both features are present, by design. Pharma May be corrupt, but they’re not fools & they know exactly what they’re doing. Despite the backdrop, this picture will be conceded, because there is a increasing number of people who’ve been killed or injured by the so-called vaccines.

These facts have been known by pharma, regulators & governments internationally from January 2021, if not sooner. Yet the policy of coerced mass vaccination continues in much of the world. Readers must surely ask themselves why these crimes against humanity were set up in the first place.

From as early as summer 2020, I did try to tell the public that PCR mass testing is being inappropriately used & the results wholly untrustworthy.

The inventor of the PCR method, Dr Kary Mullis, was awarded a Nobel prize for his invention because of its central importance in molecular biology.

However, Mullis repeatedly criticised the growing use of PCR to make clinical diagnoses. He pointed out that, such was its astonishing sensitivity, it is possible to get a positive result from a sample containing a single fragment of a virus, way below levels involved in a clinical infection or conferring infectiousness.

The lack of regulation & standardisation is just one aspect of what this truly is: a deliberate & protracted fraud on the people. NHS trust managers aren’t expected to understand that arcane aspects of a test like cycle threshold & presumably accepted the results in good faith. In contrast, anyone in the field of medical diagnostics within the NHS knows this is fraud. It’s not a matter of opinion.

Furthermore, most of the mass testing conducted on members of the public isn’t run within Trust hospitals pathology facilities but inside huge, purpose-built private labs, which have been called “Lighthouse Labs”. Whistleblower disclosures way back in 2020 told us without equivocation that mass testing there was (& presumably still is) leaving out crucial components, without which the results are wholly uninterpretable. Specifically, they were not using certain internal standards, necessary to confirm the samples in each batch test run was only turning positive when truly detecting target genetic sequences, contrasting with positive results when the virus target was absent, which are known as false positives.

Communist China Backs Argentina’s Claim to British Falklands, Bribes Buenos Aires with Belt and Road Cash

Communist China has agreed to back Argentina’s tenuous claim to the British Falkland Islands, in exchange for Buenos Aires backing Beijing’s even more tenuous claim of ownership of Taiwan and signing onto the Belt and Road Initiative.

Following a meeting in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing between left-wing President of Argentina Alberto Fernández and Chinese dictator Xi Jinping on Sunday, China announced that it will formally back the South American country’s claim to Britain’s Falkland Islands, while Fernández pledged his support for the so-called one-China policy of Beijing which lays claim to Taiwan.

The Chinese Communist Party has never ruled Taiwan — the island is ruled by the modern descendent of the Chinese Nationalist government which was once the main government of China before the Communist revolutionary war. While Argentina makes historical claims to the Falklands for periods of occupation amounting to around 31 months in the past 200 years, the territory has generally been under British control since the 1830s, and the Falkland Islanders themselves strongly identify as British.

“Argentina said it will continue to adhere to the one-China principle on the Taiwan question and China will continue to support Argentina’s demand for the full exercise of sovereignty over the Malvinas (Falkland) Islands,” China’s state-run Global Times reported.

Rejecting the notion of Argentina’s claim to the Falklands, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said on Monday: “We completely reject any questions over sovereignty of the Falklands. The Falklands are part of the British family and we will defend their right to self-determination.”

“China must respect the Falklands’ sovereignty,” Truss added.

The conflict between Argentina and Britain over the islands boiled over into a hot war after Argentina illegally invaded the Falklands on the 2nd of April 1982. The Falklands War, which lasted 74 days, saw 255 British soldiers die before the PM Margaret Thatcher-directed military effort forced Argentina to surrender after losing 649 soldiers of their own.

The inhabitants of the British Overseas Territory, located about 300 miles (480 kilometres) east of Argentina in the South Atlantic, are mostly descendants of British settlers, who strongly favour being under the sovereignty of the United Kingdom, which colonised the islands in 1841.

This is twenty years before Argentina emerged as a cohesive country following a lengthy civil war after the war of independence fought against the Spanish Empire.

Taiwan was never under the control of the communist government in Beijing, having its own distinct government since Chang Kai Shek’s nationalists fled to the island after losing the civil war to Mao Zedong’s communists in 1949. Aside from the fact that the CCP has never ruled over Taiwan, the country also has its own distinct culture, currency, and military.

Coinciding with the announcement on the Falklands, Argentina officially signed onto Communist China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the premiere strategy of increasing the global influence of Beijing. The initiative has been branded as “dept-trap diplomacy” because China offers predatory loans to fund massive infrastructure projects in often impoverished countries.

Those countries that fail to repay the loans often cede control of the assets to China as repayment. While China attempts to tout the initiative as an economic boon for those who sign up, much of the economic gains are taken back to China, with Chinese firms typically constructing the installations with temporary workers shipped in from China.

The communist mouthpiece Global Times went on to report that the Argentinian delegation made a visit to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall in Beijing, where the body of communist dictator Mao Zedong — who was responsible for the deaths of between 60 and 80 million people — lays in a mummified state under glass.

Prior to the trip, the Argentinan Ambassador to China, Sabino Vaca Narvaja told the state-run newspaper: “For both Argentina and the rest of the world, Mao is a very crucial state leader.”

The ambassador went on to note that President Fernandez’s left-wing political party, Partido Justicialista, has “very important historical ties” with the Chinese Communist Party, claiming that former Argentine president Juan Peron “maintained friendship and correspondence” with Mao Zedong.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has told parliament that he expects all remaining COVID restrictions in England to be lifted by the end of the month.

Britain’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has said that he expects all remaining Chinese Coronavirus restrictions in England — including those to do with self-isolation — to be lifted by the end of the month, provided current “encouraging trends” continue regarding the disease.

Johnson made the comments during this week’s session of Prime Minister’s Questions, during which the premier came under opposition pressure for the ongoing “partygate” scandal, as well his handling of inflation and rising energy prices.

According to a report by Sky News, the Prime Minister told parliament that he expected all of England’s COVID rules to be rolled back one month earlier than initially planned.

“Providing the current encouraging trends in the data continue, it is my expectation that we will be able to end the last domestic restrictions, including the legal requirement to self-isolate if you test positive, a full month early,” the publication reports Johnson as telling the House of Commons, with cheers erupting inside parliament.

An end to rules requiring individuals with COVID to self-isolate had previously been expected to expire on March 24.

The PM’s announcement has been met with some positivity.

According to Sky News, Johnson’s former Brexit Minister, Lord David Frost, has welcomed the announcement.

“The PM’s plan to end all COVID restrictions a month early is the right thing to do and is extremely welcome,” Frost — who harshly criticised the UK government’s “coercive policies on COVID” in the past — said.

“I hope the government will also make clear we will not go down the road of coercive lockdowns ever again,” he continued.

However, another story that emerged parallel to the lockdown announcement is a new “partygate” picture of Johnson dropping during Wednesday’s Prime Minister’s Questions.

The image, published by tabloid outlet The Mirror, appears to show Johnson at an event on December 15, 2020, standing in the same room as an open bottle of sparkling wine.

“It looks a lot like one of the Christmas parties he told us never happened,” left-wing labour MP Fabian Hamilton told parliament. “Will the Prime Minister be referring this party to the police, because it is not one of the ones that are already being investigated?”

Johnson responded to the Labour MP saying that he was “completely in error” regarding “what he has just said”.

While some have been trumpeting the new image, others have not paid it much heed.

For example, Johnson’s former chief advisor, Dominic Cummings, did not seem impressed by the new image, writing online that “there’s waaaaay better pics than that floating around”.

Suggestions regarding the PM’s announcement being another “Red Meat” policy have also been floated.

The term is in reference to the so-called “Operation Red Meat“, which is reportedly designed around announcing highly popular policies — such as scrapping the BBC tax or deploying the Navy to help deal with the ongoing Channel Migrant crisis — in order to rescue Boris Johnson’s premiership.

Today’s announcement — which was made as pressure mounts against the British premier over a number of scandals — mirrors greatly the previous announcement made last month that England would have almost all of its lockdown restrictions relaxed, which came shortly after the so-called “pork pie putsch” against Johnson became known to the public.

“It’s amazing how much energy this Prime Minister can sum up when it comes to saving his own skin,” remarked the Scottish National Party’s Ian Blackford on ongoing events — including a recent mini cabinet reshuffle — during Wednesday’s parliamentary session.

Cressida Dick to step down as Metropolitan Police chief

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Dame Cressida Dick is leaving her role after a series of damaging controversies.

Dame Cressida said she had been left with "no choice" after London Mayor Sadiq Khan made it clear to her he had no confidence in her leadership.

Last week, the police watchdog found "disgraceful" misogyny, discrimination and sex harassment among some Met PCs.

Dame Cressida was the first woman to lead the UK's biggest police force.

Speaking on BBC London hours before her departure was announced, she said she was "seething angry" about the watchdog's findings and that she had "absolutely no intention" of quitting.

But in his statement, Mr Khan said he was "not satisfied" with Dame Cressida's response and that she "will be stepping aside" as a result.

Mr Khan thanked the commissioner, the first woman to lead Britain's biggest police force, for her 40-year policing career.

He said he would now "work closely with the home secretary on the appointment of a new commissioner" with an aim to restore trust in the Met.

Home Secretary Priti Patel said Dame Cressida held the role "during challenging times" and that she "exemplified the increasingly diverse nature of our police".

Dame Cressida, who served in the role for four years, has agreed with the mayor that she will continue to serve for a short time period to enable an orderly handover.

She said in a written statement: "It is with huge sadness that following contact with the mayor of London today, it is clear that the mayor no longer has sufficient confidence in my leadership to continue.

"He has left me no choice but to step aside as commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service."

"I'm incredibly proud of my team and all they have achieved," she added.

Ken Marsh, the chairman of the Metropolitan Police Federation, which represents rank and file officers in London, said Dame Cressida had been unfairly treated.

"We feel the way she has been treated is wholly unfair and we did believe that she was the person who could take us through this and bring us out the other side," he said.

BBC home affairs correspondent June Kelly said the relationship between the mayor and commissioner has to work - and once Dame Cressida had lost his confidence, and after he was so public about that, things had become toxic.

She added this was a repeat of a situation we saw more than a decade ago, when then Commissioner Sir Ian Blair was forced out by the former London Mayor Boris Johnson.

Metropolitan Police Federation Declares ‘No Faith’ in London Mayor Sadiq Khan

The Metropolitan Police Federation, which represents over 31,000 officers in London, has declared that it has “no faith” in the leadership of leftist London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Following the dramatic resignation of Met Commissioner Cressida Dick in response to a lack of “sufficient confidence” in her from Sadiq Khan, the Metropolitan Police Federation has said that the Labour London Mayor has “undermined” the police force as a whole through his public comments condemning the “toxic culture” of “racism, sexism, homophobia, bullying, discrimination and misogyny” allegedly displayed by some officers.

Declaring that the Federation no longer has “faith” in Khan, chairman Ken Marsh said: “This is not a move we take lightly. We have let the Mayor’s office know in no uncertain terms how our brave and diligent colleagues deserve better.

“The atmosphere amongst Metropolitan Police officers is horrendous – it’s rock bottom. Officers in London feel saddened and angry that Commissioner Cressida Dick has been pushed out in the way she has. She was reforming. She was changing. The culture is changing. We are deeply disappointed with the actions of the Mayor.

“The hard work of our colleagues – and public trust in our colleagues – is being undermined by politicians. And by the Mayor of London in particular. The continuing scaremongering, sniping and sweeping statements are causing disaffection with the public… not the thousands and thousands of hard-working officers who are out there keeping people safe.”

The Metropolitan Police Federation chairman went on to say: “These officers are being unfairly lambasted for things they haven’t done. Every minute of every day – as we speak – thousands of Metropolitan Police colleagues are out there putting their safety at risk, tackling knife crime and robbery, countering terrorism, capturing child sex offenders, locking up bad people.

“The Federation will continue to speak up for these courageous colleagues. They are being forgotten about by our elected Mayor. Enough is enough. Officers have no faith in Sadiq Khan.”

Though Commissioner Dick suffered serious blows to her legitimacy following the conviction of one of her officers for the rape and murder of Sarah Everard last year, followed by a heavy-handed shut down of a peaceful vigil held for the slain woman, Khan did not oust her then. It was only after leaked WhatsApp and Facebook chats from officers making crude and derogatory remarks that the mayor finally moved against Dick.

Commenting on the move, Brexit leader Nigel Farage also noted that Khan “wasn’t critical because knife crime is out of control, he wasn’t critical because rape and sexual assault is out of control and convictions are miserably low, he wasn’t unhappy with her because of the rise of gang violence.”

Last year, Mr Khan was re-elected for a second term as London Mayor, yet recently his leadership has faced growing criticism, with a plurality of Londoners (48 per cent) disapproving of the job he is doing, according to a YouGov poll conducted in January.

In terms of handling crime, the polls were even less favourable to Khan, with 60 per cent believing he was handling crime “badly”.

During his tenure as Mayor, through which he also serves as London’s Police and Crime Commissioner, the British capital has seen over one hundred killings each year. Last year, London saw a record number of teenagers being killed on its streets, with 30 youngsters losing their lives. It has been estimated — as full crime stats for the year have yet to be published — that 127 homicides were seen in 2021.

While real crimes, such as the knife crime epidemic, have plagued the city under his leadership, Mr Khan has instead focussed on woke censorious projects, such as policing Twitter through his Online Hate Crime Hub or determining which statues are deemed worthy of remaining based on the opinion of a Maoist-style council filled with far-left activists.

‘Education, Not Indoctrination’: UK Minister Demands Schools Uphold Political Impartiality

Schoolchildren need to be afforded the ability to make up their own minds on political matters rather than being “indoctrinated” into particular positions by teachers, Education Secretary Nadhim Zawahi said on Sunday.

Amid growing concerns about far-left ideologies such as Critical Race Theory being pushed upon British schoolchildren in school districts such as Brighton, Conservative MP and the government’s Education Secretary, Nadhim Zawahi called on schools to maintain impartiality.

Zawahi is reportedly investigating Brighton and Hove city council over teachers being coached up on the latest leftist views on race in “Racial Literacy 101” courses that told teachers that children are not “racially innocent”.

In an open letter written in The Sun newspaper on Sunday, the education secretary — who is supposedly in charge of England’s national curriculum — stressed the importance of schools being free from political proselytising.

“Children need to form their own views at the same time as they learn to respect those of others,” he wrote. “This is how we prepare young people to take their place as a well-balanced and tolerant member of society.”

“That is why parents and carers need to be able to trust schools to be totally impartial. They need to be confident that their children can learn about political issues and begin to form their own independent opinions, without being influenced by the personal views of those teaching them.

“No school should be encouraging young people to pin their colours to a particular political mast… Put simply, it means education, not indoctrination.”

The education secretary admitted that while “legal duties on political impartiality have been in place for many years,” the government has not clearly defined the perameters of play when discussion contensious polical issues “like the legacy of the British Empire or the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

In a veiled comment on the Marxist Black Lives Matter movemet, Zawahi said that when teaching lessons surrounding racism, teachers should impress upon children that it has “no place in our society” but should refrain from endorsing organisations “that have widely contested political aims or views.”

He said that to combat the alleged confusion of schools surrounding political impartiality, guidance will be published for teachers next week by the government to prevent such indoctrination from occurring.

The op-ed from Zawahi comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding the teaching of Critical Race Theory in the Brighton and Hove council.

In January, it was reported that the Green Party-controlled city council had embarked on conducting seminars for teachers in which they were told that children as young as three and five-years-old could be the beneficiaries of so-called “white privilege”.

In an interview earlier this month, Green Party Councillor Hannah Clare questioned why the teaching of CRT principles was seen as controversial, claiming that the Marxist doctrine merely seeks to “talk about racism”.

She said that because white people “potentially experienced benefits from their race” it was important for teachers “to tackle” how “white privilege and institutional racism impacts our city’s pupils and staff”.

The Deputy Leader and Chair of the Children, Young People and Skills Committee for the city council went on to say: “This isn’t some covert thing it’s been going on for over a year.”

Aside from Critical Race Theory creeping its way into the UK education system, there has been a longstanding push to “decolonise the cirriculum” by leftist educators in response to the alleged deliterious impacts of the British Empire and slavery — a practice first abolished by Great Britain, which took great pains to stamp out slave trades throughout the world.

Targets of the woke decolonising drive have included Issac Newton, sheet music, Medieval English literature, the Queen, Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution, and even lectures on tropical viruses.

Wales has become the first UK nation to announce it will offer all five to 11-year-olds Covid vaccinations.

Welsh Health Minister Eluned Morgan said she was following a "yet to be published" recommendation from the UK's Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).

She said ministers and health boards were working on implementing the plans.

There are reports the official JCVI announcement has been delayed due to a disagreement with the UK government.

BBC Wales health correspondent Owain Clarke said he understands there may have been "a little frustration within the Welsh government that the UK government was moving perhaps too slowly on this, given reports that the JCVI advice had been ready for quite some time".

The minister did not set out a timetable for the vaccination programme.

She told Senedd members: "We're not going to do that as a matter of urgency, as we did over the Christmas period.

"That's partly because the risk isn't as great to that cohort.

"And we're also waiting to hear from the JCVI to see whether they'll need a booster on top of the booster for older age groups in the spring."

Ms Morgan said it was a "shame and it's perplexing to understand" why the JCVI advice on jabs for younger children had not been published yet.

She said it was likely to have been a "very difficult decision for the JCVI" because "generally, children have a milder illness and fewer hospitalisation, but, of course, they have to balance that against the prospect of missing school".

Later, in a written statement, the health minister urged "all families with children between the ages of five and 11, who are not in any clinical at risk groups, to visit the Public Health Wales website for information about vaccination and to begin a conversation about whether they want to take up this offer".

"We will be publishing an update of our Vaccination Strategy next week, which will set out further detail about the offer, once the JCVI advice is published," she said.

"Vaccination is the most important thing we can do to protect ourselves and our children against ill health. They prevent up to three million deaths worldwide every year."

In the Welsh Parliament, Plaid Cymru health spokesman Rhun ap Iorweth said he was "aware of calls from parents, from staff in education, from health professionals and care workers to push this option of vaccination forward as soon as possible".

This was because of "concern that the virus is spreading most among children and the impact that that has on family members who are unable to work and the impact that remains in terms of children's education, where there they do lose large amounts of school time", he added.

A low-dose version of the vaccine for younger children was approved for use in the UK in December, after being deemed safe and effective.

Since earlier this year five to 11- year-olds with conditions making them vulnerable to Covid have been offered the jabs.

There are approximately 250,000 children aged five to 11 in Wales.

Northern Ireland's Department of Health said it "intends to continue to follow JCVI advice on vaccination and will formally respond once the JCVI statement has been officially released".

What do we know about Covid in younger children in Wales?

In recent days, around 6% of all positive Covid tests have been in the under 10s, compared to as much as 15 to 16% back in November and December.

There has been a drop in case rate amongst the five to 11-year-olds, based on PCR tests only, since mid January, when it peaked at around 1,250 cases per 100,000.

Latest school absence figures show 4.9% of primary-age pupils were absent from school for a Covid-related reason in the week ending 4 February.

A third of 12 to 15-year olds have now had their second dose of vaccine - including more than 2,500 in the last week - following up from more than 57% of that age group having a first dose.

Former UK deputy prime minister Sir Nick Clegg has been promoted to a new senior role at Facebook's owner Meta.

A Facebook post from the company's boss Mark Zuckerberg said Sir Nick would become its president of global affairs.

The move puts the former Lib Dem leader on a par with Mr Zuckerberg himself at the recently-rebranded firm.

Sir Nick joined Facebook in 2018 as its head of its global affairs and communications team. His new role will see him focus on regulatory issues.

Mr Zuckerberg said Meta needed "a senior leader at the level of myself… who can lead and represent us for all of our policy issues globally".

Sir Nick, who served as deputy prime minister as part of the coalition government from 2010-2015, left politics after losing his Sheffield Hallam seat in the 2017 general election.

At the time of his move to California, it was reported Mr Zuckerberg and chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg were personally involved in his recruitment, hoping to capitalise on his political experience in the face of increased scrutiny of the tech industry and their use of data.

Sir Nick has since spearheaded the establishment of Facebook's independent content oversight board, and recently defended the company against the accusations of whistleblower - and former employee - Frances Haugen, who claimed the social media site put profit before user safety.

His promotion comes ahead of the US midterm elections in November.

"Nick will now lead our company on all our policy matters, including how we interact with governments as they consider adopting new policies and regulations, as well as how we make the case publicly for our products and our work," Mr Zuckerberg wrote in his post.

Ms Sandberg said the new role came at "a crucial time for our company and our industry as new rules for the internet are written all over the world".

THE ROYAL Air Force (RAF) has expressed concerns that the UK's early warning systems may be disrupted in the event of a nuclear missile launch.

The RAF is concerned over the rollout of new smart meters, that work on similar frequencies as the early warning system for missiles and are run the risk of interference. This comes as an expert warned that Russia is developing a "superweapon" in the form of a nuclear-powered cruise missile. As a result of these concerns, energy bosses have been forced to halt installations across parts of Yorkshire.

People who live near RAF Fylingdales have been refused an upgrade to a smart meter because their signals may clash with its ballistic missiles radar equipment, according to the Telegraph.

These are radar bases that form a part of the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS).

As part of intelligence-sharing arrangements between the US and the UK, the RAF Fylingdales will share the data it collects with the US.

This data gives the Governments of both countries a vital warning of an impending ballistic missile attack.

This base also has a few other vital functions, like being part of the US Space Surveillance Network and keeping track of spy satellites from other countries.

The reason these smart meters pose such a threat is that the frequencies they use to send data to suppliers are very similar to ones used by Fylingdales.

As a result of this, ministers have stopped the rollout of smart meters to some homes within the North York Moors National Park.

The energy firms will now need to install a new type of smart meter that would operate on the 454MHz frequency instead of the standard 422-424MHz band used by most smart meters.

According to the Telegraph, a letter from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, was sent to some households late last year.

It read: “Some premises within the vicinity of RAF Fylingdales will require new technology that industry has been developing – a special type of communications hub – for smart meters at those properties to connect to the national smart metering network.”

The early warning systems are crucial to the UK’s defence, as Russia policy expert Clint Ehrlich has claimed Putin's military is running a secret programme of "superweapons" capable of taking on the US - in the event of talks over Ukraine breaking down.

Mr Ehrlich's warning comes as the Kremlin continue to mass troops near Ukraine, provoking Western fears of an invasion.

Mr Ehrlich told Express.co.uk: "There are additional super weapons that they've been developing, including a nuclear-powered cruise missile.

"This was actually something that the US looked at during the Cold War and it was viewed to be too dangerous.

"Because the fear is that if the nuclear reactor on the bottom of the missile malfunctions, you can just have this thing that starts going around the earth over and over and over again spewing nuclear waste everywhere.

"Russia has been developing that as a potential weapon."

ELON MUSK's satellite company, Starlink, is facing outages, as a "critical" warning has been issued for London.

The warning was issued at 6:56am by Fingerpick Internet Alert. They reported thatcher a “critical” internet outage was “ongoing” for Starlink in England. The issue is said to have started at 12:50am, with London impacted.

It is not yet clear what the source of the problem is, but Ofgem estimates there are around 27,000 homes and businesses in the UK that rely on satellite broadband.

To date, SpaceX has launched more than 2,000 satellites for its Starlink network.

Mr Musk began rolling out its internet service to customers last year, and now has approximately 145,000 users in 25 countries worldwide.

Starlink is available to order in more than six counties and recently rolled out its "Better Than Nothing Beta" test.

It costs $99 (£73) a month, plus (£366) $499 for a kit with a tripod, a WiFi router, and a terminal to connect to the Starlink satellites.

Philip Hall, in rural Devon, south-west England, told Insider he was one of the first people in the UK to receive the Starlink kit and test out its internet connection.

Hall has barely any internet connection where he lives, making running a business and contacting the family extremely challenging.

Despite the connection dropping out from time to time and the limited range of the signal, he said Starlink was "a hope and a prayer."

It comes after 40 Starlink satellites were wiped out by a solar storm just a day after launch earlier this month.

SpaceX said: "Onboard GPS suggests the escalation speed and severity of the storm caused atmospheric drag to increase up to 50 percent higher than during previous launches."

The tech company tried to put the satellites into a "safe mode," but was unsuccessful.

They headed back to Earth orbit, burning up in the atmosphere on their way back.

OnlyFans accused of conspiring to blacklist rivals

OnlyFans has been accused of conspiring to blacklist the social media accounts of adult performers working for rival websites, BBC News has learned.

Legal documents, previously unreported, claim OnlyFans directed an unidentified social media company to disable accounts of performers by placing their content on a terrorism database.

It is alleged that OnlyFans representatives paid bribes to the firm's employees to facilitate the practice. OnlyFans says it is aware of the legal claim and it has "no merit".

UK website OnlyFans - best known for hosting pornography - has grown hugely in recent years. It lets users share video clips and photos with subscribers in return for tips or a monthly fee.

Performers often use social media accounts - including Twitter and Instagram - to promote and link to adult websites showing their explicit content.

BBC News has learned that rival adult website FanCentro has begun legal action in the US against OnlyFans' owner Leonid Radvinsky and the company which receives OnlyFans' payments, Fenix Internet LLC.

The claim was submitted to a US court in Florida last November, but has been unreported until now.

It alleges OnlyFans directed an unidentified social media company to blacklist many competitor adult websites in 2018.

FanCentro claims the social media content of adult performers promoting rival websites to OnlyFans were placed on an international database - the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT). The database uses advanced technology to stop the spread of terrorist images by recording a unique digital signature for them, known as "hashes".

The hash database is shared between all 18 members of the forum - including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat. If one company hashes a video or photograph, it is flagged to other members so they can moderate similar content on their platform.

According to the legal action, FanCentro believes the database was "manipulated", resulting in many adult performers having social posts removed and accounts disabled - despite them not containing any terrorist content.

This happened most noticeably on Instagram, according to the filing.

It is claimed the resulting reduced visibility of performers on social media led to a marked decline in traffic being driven to rival websites of OnlyFans. FanCentro is seeking financial damages.

However, performers who only promoted their OnlyFans accounts on social media did not face this punitive content moderation - it is alleged - leading to a big growth in traffic visiting the website.

The legal action also claims one or more employees of the unidentified social media company - including potentially a senior member of staff - may have been bribed to facilitate the scheme by OnlyFans representatives.

OnlyFans has not yet issued a legal response but a spokesperson said the company was aware of the claims - describing them as having "no merit".

Facebook is not named in the legal action but BBC News has learned that it has been issued with a subpoena - meaning it may be compelled to provide records. Facebook and Instagram both have the same parent company - Meta.

The subpoena requests copies of any internal documents showing rival websites to OnlyFans included on lists of so-called Dangerous Individual or Organizations held by Meta and any payments received from OnlyFans representatives.

West Midlands hit by earthquake

An earthquake has shaken homes across the West Midlands.

The British Geological Survey (BGS) said the 2.8 magnitude quake hit Walsall at a depth of 4.35 miles (7km) at 22:59 GMT.

It said the effects could be felt over a 12-mile (20km) radius from the epicentre, with tremors detected in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Dudley.

One resident told the BGS it felt "like a wardrobe had fallen over or an explosion blast against the window".

The quake was approximately eight miles (12.8km) east of the 4.7 magnitude one that hit Dudley in 2002 before being felt across most of England.

Lorraine Smith, who lives in Stone Cross, West Bromwich, said there were "two rumbles" which she thought was a "truck going down the street" or a thunderstorm.

BBC journalist Elizabeth Joyce was at home in Willenhall, on the Walsall and Wolverhampton border, when the earthquake struck.

She said: "It happened around 11 o'clock and the whole house started to shake. Everything on the shelves was rattling, the walls vibrated and there was a loud rumbling sound.

"It was a surreal experience. I was simultaneously thinking 'oh my goodness, it's an earthquake' and 'there's no way this is an earthquake, we're in Wolverhampton'.

"It lasted a few seconds and didn't cause any damage but it was very weird."

The American-born socialite, philanthropist and collector of art, furniture and design was the former wife of Sir Evelyn de Rothschild. The couple, who had three children — Anthony, David, and Jessica — were married in 1973 and divorced in 2000.

The jewels will be offered alongside silver and tableware from de Rothschild’s collection in a wider sale that is set to take place at Dreweatts’ headquarters in Berkshire, England on March 8 and 9. The auction will also be livestreamed.

James Nicholson, deputy chairman and international head of jewelry, silver and watches at Dreweatts, said de Rothschild had a taste for “breaking boundaries” and described her “a true champion of modern design who supported upcoming designers and artisans, which is demonstrated by the exciting pieces offered.”

Among the highlights is a modernist gold colored disc necklace by the pioneering American jeweler and sculptor Irena Borzena Ustjanowski, known artistically as “IBU.” Her works are on display at the IBU gallery at the Palais Royal gardens in Paris. The disc necklace carries an estimate of 4,000 pounds to 6,000 pounds.

A Boucheron pink sapphire and ruby ring topped with a coiled serpent and set with circular cut rubies and pink sapphires will also go under the hammer. The serpent’s eyes are set with cabochon emeralds and the tip of its tail features a cut black diamond.

The piece is signed Boucheron, the name of the jewelry house founded in 1858, when Frédéric Boucheron opened his first boutique under the arcades of the Palais Royal, and later in Place Vendôme, in Paris. The jeweler is now owned by Kering. The ring carries an estimate of 2,000 pounds to 3,000 pounds.

A lapis lazuli and gold colored necklace attributed to the contemporary British designer Jacqueline Ryan, one of de Rothschild’s favorite styles, is also part of the sale.

Dreweatts said the necklace found a suitable wearer in de Rothschild, “who was inventive in her style, affording her a place on the best-dressed list, even though she always refused to be photographed.” The necklace carries an estimate of 1,500 pounds to 2,000 pounds.

Diane von Furstenberg has been named the 2022 recipient of the Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Woman of Leadership Award. The designer, who honored the late justice in 2020 with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the DVF Awards, will be presented with the award during a formal ceremony and gala at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., in March.

“Ruth Bader Ginsburg represents everything I admire,” said von Furstenberg in an announcement about the award. “She was the embodiment of justice, strength and character. To get an award in her name is a great honor.”

The RBG Award was established in collaboration with the Dwight D. Opperman Foundation in 2020 to recognize the service of exceptional women. Von Furstenberg is joining an elite list: the inaugural recipient was Agnus Gund, who was followed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2021.

The award’s five-person voting council includes David Rubenstein and former PepsiCo chief executive officer Indra Nooyi, and the nominating committee includes Adrienne Arsht, Martha Minow, Lionel Richie,James Rothschildand Martha Stewart. So, Anons, I am going to dig into Global and likely Bauer, these two mega corporations have been up to no good, they bought up all the local radio stations in the country to get the local radio licences into their portfolio, they then - in most cases, fire all the staff, close down the stations and incorporate them into their existing brands to expand them nationally. A prime example of this is Capital Radio, you can now get Capital Radio outside of London in most of the country, this was done at the expense of local frequencies, local jobs and local talent, all of that local advertising has been swallowed up and leaves the area, and in the case of Bauer, leaves the country as the parent company is German. Of course, the local newsrooms closed down or were massively scaled back, with centralised programming and propaganda news being broadcast from a centralised location.

This was all done with the blessing and approval of Ofcom. the regulator. It is Ofcoms responsibility to protect the radio industry, but they have deliberately overseen and permitted the destruction of local radio - this is clearly part of the attack on our nation. The public are largely unaware of what has gone on and unfortunately are so brainwashed they will likely not see the larger game that is in play, but this issue is possibly able to red pill the asleep as the corruption is so visible once it is explained to them.

There was a Cornish company that owned a few radio stations called UKRD, the main station they had was Cornwall's Pirate FM, a local station which is loved by the people it serves. Although UKRD owned many stations up and down the country, they allowed them to operate independently within the group, keeping local jobs and local radio just that, they were the model of how a radio company could grow nationally but responsibly. Unfortunately, UKRD was spotted by the giant Bauer Media, and this beast of a corporation salivated as it swallowed up the smaller parent company, adding loads of stations to its already swollen portfolio. It was the last straw for me and I started a Facebook campaign and drew massive attention to the threat Pirate FM was under, luckily the movement scared them off and they chose to keep Pirate FM the way it was, saving many jobs, this could only be done with people power, I was permanently banned from Facebook shortly afterwards, I was also posting a lot of Q content, so I didn't really fit in ;), I now evade bans with multiple burner accounts, post a load of red pill content on my wall, go into groups and outrage them with an unpopular opinion to cause a fuss, then they all look into who I am and are exposed to the best red pill content available! - this radio issue needs solving with similar tactics! The people were forced to crowdfund to get replacement local stations on the go, but with increased competition from these new national broadcasters in the area, it remains to be seen if these stations are viable and can survive in an industry which is dominated by monopolies which were allowed to grow by the regulator.

Needless to say this is VERY dasting and we must find out what it is.

UK Broadcasting Regulator Could Move To BAN RT News After Russia’s Ukraine Invasion

UK Culture Secretary has called for total ban on RT, claiming it is “part of Russia’s global disinformation campaign”

RT News, otherwise known as Russia Today, is facing an outright ban from broadcasting in Britain and potentially the rest of the world following Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

Censorship of RT has long been in the works and was being discussed prior to the escalation of tensions, with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries asking British regulator Ofcom to consider banning RT outright.

Dorries charged that “RT is demonstrably part of Russia’s global disinformation campaign, as its own editor-in-chief has made clear in the past, who has called the network an ‘information weapon’ of the Russian state.”

Ofcom responded by stating “We are expediting complaints in this area as a matter of urgency and we will not hesitate to take swift action where necessary.”

The statement further noted “It is acceptable for broadcasters to present issues from a particular perspective provided that alternative views and opinions are also represented,” adding “It would not be acceptable for any of our licensees to broadcast one-sided propaganda.”

RT’s deputy editor-in-chief and head of communications, Anna Belkina responded to attempts to shut down RT, saying “Even in the face of undue political pressure, [Ofcom] has continuously found RT to be in line with other UK broadcasters, without a single breach of broadcasting code to be found in the last four years – not something that can be said about many other channels in the country.”

Earlier this week, “opposition” Labour leader Keir Starmer called for a total ban on RT in the UK and the rest of the world calling the network a key part of “Putin’s campaign of misinformation.”

“Russia Today should be prevented from broadcasting its propaganda around the world,” Starmer proclaimed.

Boris Johnson responded to the issue in parliament, noting “We live in a country that believes in free speech, and I think it’s important that we should leave it up to Ofcom rather than to politicians to decide which media organisations to ban – that’s what Russia does.”

Other political figures in the UK have slammed the labelling of RT as Russian propaganda. Former British diplomat Peter Ford called the censorship efforts “appalling,” charging the “The [British] government demands one narrative, not just on Ukraine, but all international affairs,” further accusing British media of being “totally one-sided” on Ukraine coverage.

The former ambassador also claimed the government is “pretending to pass the buck to Ofcom,” asserting that the regulator is a “creature of the British state, staffed by figures of the British state.”

Charities have urged the UK to welcome thousands of refugees from Ukraine, matching the effort made after the 1990s conflict in the former Yugoslavia.

The UK should play a leading role in providing sanctuary, Save the Children and Amnesty International, among others, said in a letter to the Times.

The UN warned five million people could be displaced by Russia's invasion.

The Home Office said its priority was British nationals and their families.

But it said it would work with international partners on issues including migration as the situation develops.

As the Russian assault raged on with missile strikes, explosions and clashes between civilians and military fighters, thousands of Ukrainians were trying to flee the country.

But they faced heavy traffic jams and bus and train services were overwhelmed.

Air travel is no longer an option, as the Western airlines are completely avoiding the country's airspace, and Kyiv's international airport was reportedly one of the first targets of Russian strikes.

Some people walked on foot, wheeling their possessions in suitcases across the border into Poland and Hungary.

UN aid agencies said on Friday that fuel, cash and medical supplies are running low in parts of Ukraine, which could drive up to five million people to flee abroad.

At least 100,000 people have already fled their homes, while several thousand have crossed into neighbouring countries including Moldova, Romania and Poland, UN refugee agency spokesperson Shabia Mantoo told a briefing in Geneva.

Ukraine's 44m population is far larger than that of some of its neighbouring countries, such as Slovenia and Latvia which are home to about two million people. Poland has a population of about 38 million, Romania 20m and Hungary around 10m.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the humanitarian impact of the conflict "threatens to be enormous", but added the UK needed to do everything it could to stabilise Ukraine's economy and support its government.

In their letter, the charities - which also include the International Rescue Committee UK, the Refugee Council, and dozens of other humanitarian groups - said the Ukraine attack could be "the most significant European conflict since the collapse of Yugoslavia".

"A generation ago, the UK saved the lives of thousands of families from the Balkans through an evacuation and resettlement programme," they said.

"The government should now respond with a well-resourced initiative working with councils across the country, to welcome Ukrainians who need sanctuary."

Former police officer in Rotherham ‘failed to investigate abuse claims’

Ex-Detective Sergeant David Walker was in charge of a unit tasked with investigating child abuse.

A police officer in charge of a unit tasked with investigating child abuse in Rotherham failed to investigate information that teenage sisters were having sex with workers from a car wash, a misconduct hearing has heard.

Former Detective Sergeant David Walker also failed to investigate intelligence that a council youth worker was passing on the names of vulnerable girls to potential sex offenders, a hearing in South Yorkshire was told on Monday.

Mr Walker, who has now left South Yorkshire Police, denies all the misconduct allegations outlined against him which relate to the Rotherham child sexual exploitation (CSE) scandal which engulfed police and social services in the South Yorkshire town.

These allegations also involve claims that he failed to record concerns made in a series of emails from Jayne Senior, who ran the Risky Business youth project in Rotherham.

These emails included information that a teenage girl had been raped by a man in the presence of an accomplice, that one suspect threatened young girls with a gun he carried in his car and that a man who had been arrested for sex offences was encouraging girls as young as 10 to visit his home.

Opening the case against the former detective, Daniel Hobbs described how Mr Walker was in charge of Rotherham Child Abuse Investigation Unit between 2008 and 2012.

Mr Hobbs told a panel of three how Mr Walker was informed by a uniformed neighbourhood officer about how he had come across a drunk 15-year-old girl whose mother told him about concerns about her daughter and her 13-year-old sister.

The concerns involved the girl forming relationships and having sex with adult males working at a car wash in Rotherham.

Mr Hobbs told the hearing that Mr Walker “did nothing with this information”.

The barrister said the former officer did not record the intelligence, did not interview either girls or make further inquiries with the officer who first reported the concerns.

He said that one record made by Mr Walker said: “This appears to be a matter for social services. Please liaise and finalise”.

Mr Hobbs said the officer continued to fail to investigate despite learning more about the vulnerability of the girls.

He said a social worker said that one of the sisters was the “highest risk case she had ever dealt with”.

The hearing also heard the allegations that Mr Walker failed to act on information from Risky Business that a Rotherham council youth worker was passing the names of vulnerable girls he came across through his work to potential abusers.

Mr Hobbs told the panel: “Det Sgt Walker did nothing at all in respect of this information and simply left any safeguarding actions arising to social services.”

The barrister said the third allegation related to the series of emails sent to him by Ms Senior which he failed to record.

He said: “Some of these emails contained serious information about rape, historic rape and people driving around with guns in the boots of their cars.”

Mr Hobbs said during his opening of the case that Mr Walker will argue that non-familial child abuse was beyond the remit of the Rotherham Child Abuse Investigation Unit he led.

He said the former officer will also argue that he had not been properly trained in matters relating to CSE and that he was under-resourced.

Mr Walker is one of 47 officers and former officers who were investigated by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) in the wake of the Rotherham child sexual exploitation scandal.

The Jay Report, in 2014, described how at least 1,400 children in the town had been subjected to grooming and abuse by gangs of men between 1997 and 2013 and outlined how police and social workers had failed to step in.

Of the 47 officers, eight were found to have a case to answer for misconduct and six had a case to answer for gross misconduct, the IOPC has said.

Five have faced sanctions from management action up to a final written warning, with Mr Walker’s case still outstanding.

A full report on the findings of the IOPC’s investigation is expected to be published following this hearing.

Last year, the watchdog published a “Learning and Recommendations” report which said that police must listen to the survivors of the Rotherham CSE scandal if they are to learn from the past.

The misconduct hearing was adjourned to March 21 when the panel will begin to hear evidence

I have always had it in mind to ask wherefrom the “selfy” couple had gotten that stuffed animal, and the red shopping bag. I disagree. At the very least I believe there was at least ONE inoperative, non-functioning, broken light socket that year on the lower part of the banner beneath the letter S of XMAS GRILL. Except for some long shots suffering from light glare in which no unlit lights can be seen, the evidence of this UNLIT light at the bottom of the banner can be seen if we but look. Is it a coincidence that we see a weakness in the lights at the SAME place we see a weakness in the lights in other pics? And that the location for this recurring phenomenon is where other images clearly show an unlit light?

In other images I also see a weakness on the lower left side that equals or exceeds that weakness seen on the lower bar.

As an example of this weakness seen on another date I include 19DEC. I am changing in my own saved images the 19DEC cap to also show this bottom left unlit light. Anons can do as they wish.

In a more circumstantial way but applying common sense logic, if one can accept that there occurred bulb replacement efforts (call them occurrences or whatever you like) then you must notice that after each bulb replacement effort there remained a persistently unlit bulb beneath the letter S on the banner on EVERY occasion (unless you allow for the ONE exception occasion anon is of the opinion occurred)*. But then where are those other pics showing a completely lit banner that are not in contradiction with clear images?

I stand by the theory of a permanently inoperative bottom left light socket. I find it supported by an analysis if the banner patterns and matching of clearer pics. To say the unlit bottom left position defied early light replacement efforts, to later be successfully lighted, to then immediately fail for the rest of the samples is a less credible scenario.

Using my theory of a single defective bottom left banner light socket, I’ve played out some possible banner sequences using the 6 light diagram dates we have so far. Keeping our UK Baker’s admonition re human nature in mind (I did not discount you UK Baker.) I was looking for the absolute LEAST number of bulb replacement events necessary to carry each sequence along.

(As a note: Let’s be quite honest. The MOAR bulb replacement events, the less chance of ever narrowing a date for the Q pic. Every day? Forget it. Every couple of days? Forget it. Every week? Forget it.

IF WE ARE TO RESET TO A PERFECTLY LIGHTED BANNER EACH TIME WITHOUT THE DEFECTIVE BOTTOM BULB WOULD IMPLY A NEW BULB REPLACEMENT AND IMPLY A BLANK (PERFECT) “RESTING” POSITION.

ADMITTING A THEORY OF PERFECT REPLACEMENT BETWEEN WHAT WE SEE OF UNLIT BULBS, WHY THR SAME BOTTOM LEFT BULB BREAKING DOWN DAY AFTER DAY AFTER IT WAS FIXED? THIS WOULD IMPLY MANY REPLACEMENTS.

Even a one-time perfect banner places it betwixt two known banners with a bottom left bulb unlit. And darn that bulb that burns out a day or two right after you fixed it! (Note: I also resolved a situation in which, if you had repaired two other unlit bulbs from NOV, why would you not have replaced the left side bulb when later banners would prove this was possible? I fixed this illogical situation by placing D19 exactly where it should have been, after D17. It would simply make more sense for that bulb position to fail again about 25 days later.)

Want to see a sequence that, so far, requires only 2 BULB REPLACEMENTS to get from one end to the other? Kinda like those logic tests where you connect the dots using only 3 lines or something?

While this vid provides no Taken Date and lists a Posted Date months after the season ended, its date, MAR-2014-P, leaves open the entire 7 weeks or so of the 2013/2014 season.

During the recording, the weather looked overcast and crispy cold during daylight. In most of the scenes the crowds seemed medium to light. View of gift stalls providee gud example of medium anf Plaza gud example of light. Both are normally high traffic zones on busy dates of typical WW season, such as weekends and Christmas Week.

Business looked gud at Yeti ride and bumper cars both of which are aimed toward school kids. Bigger and moar aggressive and highly popular rides such as WM, looked lightly used. Christmas Coaster ran a lone and empty car, for example. Carousel Bar very light. But GOW had line. Santa Land not very busy and Reindeer ride at standstill. Over the Top spun w/o passengers.

Maybe due to weather?

Late NOV to Early JAN.

Colours of tree coverage looked moar autumn than winter, but also depended on that year's weather. In a few views, people looked well-bundled, including those pushing prams.

View of Candy Floss Kiosk showed unlit bulb position at 3rd from lower end of right front ridge, as previously observed. Looked like the 3rd was middle position of 5 total on that ridge at that time. Other sauces showed 4 positions with gap at or near top of hip roof.

As anons have suggested, this looks like an image/day early in season before a modification … Such as between days when no positions were lit and when all 4 were lit, or at least when 3rd was lit, as it appears it may have been in Q pic. Or this vid was after change that added 5th position? The rear ridge show 5 positions, all lit.

This vid doesn't seem to match Q, due to unlit position 3, but does match the lower 3 bulbs on rear ridge that were captured lit in Q pic.

Well here is another one of the person’s vids. If the Nov 23, 2013 date is the real date, then has a gud look at Candy Floss stand. 3rd light out on front left corner ridge. The plaza layout sure seems to be the 2013 layout to me but am not familiar with later years, sew buttons.

This is an excellent sauce and a fine find.

Can see that lower bulb is present and lit. Daylight pic seems too uncertain on other positions. Darker pic seems uncertain on 2nd from lower bulb position and uncertain on uppermost position which would be 4th and/or 5th positions.

Darker pic shows light at middle position, I think. This is the position, or is very near the position that seems lit in Q pic. IF that position in this sauce fairly resembles the same in Q pic, then, actual bulb lit or reflecting or whatnot, then, fair match, I think.

And that's the significance of #3 (as I've been calling that middle bulb position).

The other ridges? Of course, the other front ridge, as viewed in Q pic, was not captured in this sauce. So neutral for a Q match. The rear ridge clearly shows lit bulbs in the lower 3 positions, which were captured lit in Q pic. The other positions on that rear ridge were not captured in Q pic; and neither were the positions on the other rear ridge captured in Q pic. So those are also neutral whether lit or otherwise, but may prove useful in sequencing with other sauces.

Upshot is that two criteria met for fair Q match on kiosk. This sauce was taken no later than 24 DEC 2013 because posted on 25th and WW park was closed on 25th. Could have been taken earlier, but not later.

Now, to exercise sceptism or caution, let's reconsider what is discernible versus what may be clearly seen.

1. While Q pic does seem to show at least one partial bulb, perhaps obscured by sign and/or garlands, (perhaps lit, perhaps dimly lit, perhaps only reflective off another source of light), my eyes can not be certain of that. To quantify, call me 75% confident that I dicern a #3 match with Q on this piece of puzzle.

2. And while this vid captured at least 2 lit bulbs, it is less certain in my eyes that Q's #3 position is in same location on the ridge. Close? Yep. So close it resembles Q pic? Yep. But seems a little high. Almost could be 4th from the eaves, if capboard pattern is also reckoned. Good resemblance to that location in Q pic, yes. Call me 90% confident that I discern a Q match on this element.

So while not beyond doubt, overall and by preponderance of the available evidence this sauce is a Q match.

This kiosk feature, as a marker of time, is corroborative. Like the Xmas Grill eaves lights, the kiosk ridge lights are fairly distinctive in Q pic and have been captured with differenfed in various sauces. Q matches have been hard to come by. This is also the case with the banner sign above Xmas Grill; and with the additional difficulty of discerning the state of that feature as captured in the Q pic. If these 3 markers align on a given date, or within a set of bookends, then, we may have narrowed the interval for the WW pics to something less than the 7 weeks the seasonal attraction was open.

After another look, found a detail that might change assessment of match-ups.

Start w Q pic and clarity of 3 bulb positions lit. These look evenly spaced on the clapboard pattern. On closer look the pattern is comprised of rows of shingles or simulation of. This roof pattern aligns with bulbs on Q pic's front left ridge; and on all hip ridges as seen in open sauces. Useful as reference to map bulb positions. Across seasons this type of kiosk was adorned with arrays of 5 bulbs on all 4 hip ridges and deviations can be spotted as rare. Also, this type of kiosk was typical dressed with another array along top central ridge. In Q pic, this long array appears but with empty sockets or unlit bulbs. This deviation is easy to miss in Q pic as it seems to have persisted across all open sauces. Noticeable when compared with other like kiosks in other locations. While I mention this here to provide fuller accounting and contest, the lack of lit bulb positions on central ridge is neutral for our purpoees, I think.

So each hip ridge = an array of 5 positions and each bulb position aligns on roof pattern of tiles or shingles. Q pic clearly shows full array on front left ridge and partial arrays are shown on right front and right rear ridges.

Alright, gonna maybe repeat myself, but mebbe can be forgiven as, yes going over same sauces but for different markers this time. And well, sometimes it’s just not the right time in the conversation.

I wanted to get a clean view of the 11DEC2013 vid:

Wanted to see that front right ridgeline. I have what may be a speculative theory but it’s not completely off base. Remember the cap of the displaced array?

Call me crazy but I think it’s poss that in the 11DEC vid there is no right right ridge array. No lights, no Christmas garland, no strong shadow there. There is a mild shadow but one that could just be the ridge itself.

Theory goes like this: On 4DEC (German pic) the light array damaged/pulled away from its normal position. Mebbe increasing winds? Just the next day there were 30km/hr winds, the strength of which not to be matched until the severe storm on 23DEC. OTHER EVIDENCE: Could also have been damaged some other way also. I figure the 11DEC vid sauce is more likely taken on or about 7 or 8DEC based on the open source recorded Moon phase. The Moon recorded in the 11DEC vid looks more like a moon phase from 7 or 8DEC.

Now that is only 4-5 days after we saw a damaged right front array.

Could the damaged array have been removed for repairs to be done at the Electrical Engineering Section this traveling fun fair no doubt has. I can imagine it has a handful of full-time electricians on hand just for such repairs. The timing is real close. It works. But just on the lunar open source, I would put the vid alone as not later than 8DEC.

Got 2 sauces (04-DEC-2013-T & 11-DEC-2013-P) and a 3rd sauce (MAR-2014-P) which show distinct changes to this array before appearance of its reset look in later sources.

Got 3 sauces all taken on 15-DEC-2013-T which show array on front right array was reset with topmost bulb position unlit or empty.

And then 25-DEC-2013-P added changes to rear right ridge with upper 2 bulb positions unlit or empty. This was recorded before Christmas Day when park was closed that day.

And got gaps between each of these series of images. And between Christmas and season's end on 5-JAN-2013.

Can you see bulb by bulb in original Q pic's banner? For me, have not found anywhere close to that level of detail in that heavily pixelated corner of the original Q pic.

Believe me, wish the Xmas Grill banner sign had been at least as well captured as tge kiosk bulbs. Even at that, #3 is very hard to distinguish. Other sauces helped map out the relevant objects that were in the original. Still, not 100% certain of #3.

The Xmas Grill eaves showed a morse code type pattern that could be discerned coarsely. Other sauces were far more clear. The bulbs were well spaced and that aided comparison of clusters by estimated lengths of clusters. Do not see that in the scrutiny of the banner sign. The raw data is more coarse there than either eaves or kiosk.

You may be correct to intuitively read into it exactly what you point out is obvious in 19-DEC-2013-P.

I do not see the bulbs in the banner sign, just bright "lines" which were understood to be closely mounted bulbs even w/o ref to other sauces (which have confirmed the morse pattern). The Q pic is the touchstone, not the references. The modus operandi: Always return to the original when in doubt; and moreso when certain a detail is significant.

Frankly, I do not see unlit gaps in the Q pic pixels that I can see clearly in the diff res and diff angle and diff distance captured in original frame in this vid.

Someone has suggested an object may have been in the line of sight. I don't see that in the original Q pic. But it is an open possibility.

Another suggested faintness, dimness, weakness and so thought thst could indicate a failing bulb or a bulb reflecting light off another source such as nearby shiny surface or close neighbouring lit bulbs. Possible, yes, an open possibility.

To some extent these open possibilities depend on assuming the conclusion and finding it where it is needed. That is the way of potentially big insights. But even that will come under scrutiny in pursuit of greater certainty in facts.

Open possibities are just that, pending moar evidence.

Looking in open sauces for solution to the appearance of a dim bulb (or maybe a "ghost" bulb lit by other source of light) or a partly obscured lit bulb on the rearmof kiosk's central ridge.

In Q pic only 3 bulbs were captured on the rear of kiosk roof. From Q camera view those were on the rear right ridge of the roof.

Here, in this vid cap, the camera is at the rear, facing toward the position (or vantage) from which Q camera took pic of this kiosk in the Plaza. So, to orientate yourself, the "rear left ridge" is on the right in this vid cap.

The topmost lit bulb does not seem high enough to have been captured in Q pic. However, keep in mind that the vantage of the Q camera was prolly as high or higher than the kiosk roof.

(In case you noticed and were wondering, am cropping vidcsps of a vloggers who shot mostly in selfie mode or swung his camera often and quickly. Caught lots of gud stuff incidental-like, over shoulder, that prolly would not be in shot if not for his selfie vlogging method.)

This view serves as an example of how distance changes perspective. In addition, this view was more elevated. The vlogger stood on entrance ramp on his way to Wilde Mous coaster ride, which was in background of Q pic. This height and elevation provides plausibility to notion that a bulb on rear of kiosk was caught in Q pic view from the other side, or frojn, of that kiosk.

Bookends for Black Box pic are currently SV-JAN-2018 to Q-JUL-201.

Based on appearances of stickers on box panel, the box was clear during 2012/2014 (original utility label only), by 4-NOV-2016 stickers B and C had been added, by SV-JAN-2015 mark D had been added (sticker residue), by 22-JUL-2018 sticker E and then C had been added (Q reposted Black Box pic that day so tighter bookend was original pic). And by DEC-2018 the stickers had been removed, except utility sticker which was same as in SV-MAY-2012.

So these markers remained and accumulated during time span of about four years, or a little less, 2014-2018. The marker D appeared to be residue or gum left behind after an affixed sticker had been removed. The other non-utility stickers looked damaged by weather or perhaps by attempted removals. For example, B suffered loss of its upper right corner and much of its surface layer. B and C had been stuck the metal panel directly. Likewise, E, but F, the #QAnon tag, was layered over B and E. This sequencing marked time in a way that showed the latest addition was ontop and intact and, thus recent.

The slate was wiped clean by DEC-2018. The cleared box panel was inadvertently recorded by an online bus enthusiast) sometime during the few months which followed Q's post.

Almost back to 2014, as it were.

Anons are aware that the Black Box pic is outside the time intervals for other London pics. The others were taken years before. Each of them, singularly or as part of a set or part of a series, was taken in winter of 2013/2014 and through Q is related to the Black Box of summer of 2018 and a broader sequence of events then … and now.

Reference pic from area across from the Q camra position for the RED BUS pic. Showed CHRISTMAS LIGHT DECORATIONS over COVENTRY Street toward the corner with WHITCOMB Street which was captured in background of Q pic. This open sauce appears to have been posted about a week or so after the photos in the blog had been taken. That would be about a year before the RED BUS pic was taken in winter of 2013. The lights look similiar to those in other images from the winters 2012 and 2013.

While the full-on hoarding and shrouding does not appear to be in place in this recording, there appears to be some on-the-ground hoarding around Communications House where the McDonald's entrance would have been. This would have been part of the early staging for the re-development of that building which took place AFTER the time of the Q pic aka RED BUS.

The preliminary hoarding is encircles in the marked up caps. Also note the lack of shrouding on the upper floors of this building on the night of 27-MAR-2014.

To orientate, cross-ref with the 22-DEC-2013-T pic that showed the board on the wall. Note the gate. Note the tree and signposts at kerbside. Have adjusted the exposure a bit for the closeup insets. Please examine the original as well.

There does appear to be white rectangular shaped flat object in the position that would be occupied by the adboard. Not certain.

This recording was made before 20-DEC and by the tree coverage it does look like a DECEMBER scene. Meanwhile the board was captured - with certainty - in the other sauce on 22-DEC.

Here is a possible way to date more precisely the VLOGGER's video from 19-DEC-2013-P. Can someone reliably decipher the text on the ticket in this pic, taken on a night the vlogger returned to ride MW coaster.

The top part reads, WINTER WONDERLAND 13/14.

And above the barcode are two lines of numbers, possibly date/time issued and date/time expired. Here is my attempt to read the middle lines, with hyphens for placeholders of text I find impossible to figure (but others might do better).

Line 1 looks like, 04 / 12 / 13 21:–

Line 2 looks like, 0- / 01 / 14

The bottom part reads, NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. The vlogger may have purchased early with reservations for some rides or attractions. IDK. Earlier in the vid he and buddy stopped at a ticket booth, I think. They also showed off their tickets while standing at the booth and also while in the Bavarian Village. Those images of tickets were worse than this one which was at least stable on the countertop just before the vendor snapped it up to redeem.

The HOT DONUTS & MILKSHAKES stall included a flat sign on the roof peak, a bar that protruded beyond its birdsbeak, and a swinging sign with a milkshake depicted upon its face; a string of light bulbs was strung fairly loosely from either flank of the building up to the bar above the swinging sign. In this vidcap these features are captured - frozen. However, in the original vid the movement of these items can be discerned.

As a set of related items, this formed an obstacle which varied in effect as recorded from across the way on the far side of the platform at Power Tower. And this aligned with the banner sign on the X-MAS GRIL rooftop.

There are other sauces that depict this set of items, with each item in better relief in one vid but not the other. While there appeared to be changes in the bulbs on the banner sign, and in some instances this is unmistable, there was also this varyingn obstacle which at times caught the light - whether that was sunlight or flashing park lights or steady bright lights all of which played a bit of havoc with the different camera recordings, depending on movement of the camera and settings of the lense. So a mixed bag produced mixed results.

Even in this 26-NOV-2013-P, which likely was recorded the day before, the XG lights on both eaves and banner were lit up, mostly, and due to the sunlight produced mixed results. However, the view we have used for a template for the charts is a good depiction of what, at base, can be reckoned in the list of sauces we've gathered and examined here.

A car crashed into a £1.2 million house owned by Boris Johnson with neighbours describing a noise like "thunder".

Police were called to the south London property owned by the Prime Minister after the Vauxhall Astra ploughed into the front garden at around 1am on Monday. The smash caused damage to a wall, hedge and tree.

Neighbours described being woken by a "loud bang" and a sound like "thunder".

The incident prompted speculation on the street in Camberwell about whether the vehicle careering into the front of the three-storey house was deliberate, but police said no offences were identified.

One neighbour told The Times: “I think it was deliberate. I mean why else this particular house?”

But other neighbours said the road had recently been used by speeding drivers as a rat run.

Mr Johnson bought the four-bed house with his wife Carrie Johnson for £1.2m in July 2019, according to Land Registry documents.

The couple took out a buy-to-let mortgage and the property is currently being renovated.

One neighbour said the house had been targeted by protesters in recent weeks, with several cars previously pulling up outside and blasting out Russian music with their windows down.

Note the presence of the motorbike parking up the street near the entrance to the Tattershall Castle. The parking area is in the new meridian between cycle-only lane and vehicular traffic lanes. That area is clearly within the camera frame of the Q pics of the JUNCTION. No bike parking there; meanwhile the motorbike parking area was on the Whitehall Gardens side of Victoria Embankment prior to the construction of the cycle only lanes on the riverside.

See pics that show these areas both in 2012 and in 2015 for comparison with 2016. Of course, you can't help but notice that the Tattershall Castle's funnel went from white on top to blue on top.

THE World Health Organisation in Geneva has just published an intriguing list. The total death tolls from Covid nation by nation across the continent of Europe, per million inhabitants.

No surprise to me, the bottom of the list was Sweden, the one that refused to be panicked into mass lockdowns or the hundred other life-wrecking miseries inflicted on us by the Johnson government.

What the WHO did not include in its research was the simple truth that Sweden refused to close down thousands of bars, cafes, restaurants and pubs; nor close theatres, cinemas or any form of entertainment.

The Swedes could continue to walk the streets, relax in the parks, swim in the pools.

Over here Boris Johnson, the obedient servant of blithering idiots from the SAGE Committee – now duly knighted as per the British tradition with public sector failures – did exactly as they told him and told the rest of us he was “following the science”.

Lives were destroyed, careers wrecked, small businesses that young people had toiled to set up never recovered, shops with no customers went bankrupt and the entire civil service learnt the new lifestyle of “working from home” – meaning doing virtually no work at all. You may have noticed they still are.

On the altar of Covid our prized NHS was broken, as evidenced by the hundreds of thousands of people needing attention who were rebuffed as Covid became the only priority.

The figures over here have still to emerge to reveal how many have died prematurely for lack of attention from an entire medical profession on work-to-rule. More than the real Covid death toll? Probably.

Today we are told at last that Covid need not be exaggerated and, with vaccination, we can learn to live with it as we do with annual flu and the common cold – both of which were once lethal.

But the heritage of the Government’s panic-stricken reaction to Covid is still with us in the crashed economy, the spiralling charges, taxes and prices.

The tales of misery among the very old and poor are at every hand.

Officialdom and government tell us it is all very sad but it simply had to be done or the half-million-dead predictions of the SAGE idiots would have come to pass.

But the figures from Geneva and Stockholm reveal this is all one big lie, or why are the Swedish figures the lowest in Europe?

Analyse a bit more and it becomes clear that everything we have suffered, are suffering and will continue to suffer for a long time yet derive from that single panic-stricken misjudgement – how to handle Covid.

It was far away the biggest single governmental cock-up of my lifetime. In a fair society those behind it – politicians, bureaucrats and pseudo-scientists – should never work again on the taxpayer’s payroll.
