This is to discuss RT as a company. Who they are, where they are likely to go, what sort of people work for them, and what the companies goals are.
RT is owned by Otter Media (who also own Crunchyroll. Strange that was never disclosed by either party).
Otter Media is owned by AT&T and some investor & businessman called "Peter Chernin".
Peter sits on the board at Twitter, owns majority stake in "Barstool Sports" (a group not afraid to be left-leaning and accusing people of being neo-nazis)- gave over $100,000 to the Democrats, and hosted Obama in his home for a fundraiser, and a producer of the new Planet of the Apes films.
Literally so much about RT makes sense.
Lets not forget that RT is in the heart of Austin- and it shows. Most of their staff is quite left leaning (with a few people that come across as so relaxed- maybe they're keeping their mouths shut or just don't care). They even promoted some game at RTX that was basically AntiFa simulator (RIOT: Civil Unrest IIRC), and Yang's VA has gone on public record & made it clear at conventions she believes the "pussy grabbing" mudslinging.
I disavow and condemn any post encouraging harassment, doxxing, or any actions deemed illegal in the USA.

They get to the team name bit. One team has called themselves "Melinda's Christmas Decorators" (as the White House was getting done up for Christmas when it was being shot).
What started as nice jokes escalated.

Not sure if he means on-average they have 26% negative votes on Youtube, or 26% of their audience are democracts thanks to youtube analytics, or it's referencing a false number cooked up by some outlet of how many votes Trump "actually" got.
You can see Burnie does not give a single shit. While the others keep their politics to Twitter or if they're asked at cons, if they make a political joke they wince or (feign) shock knowing the backlash it'll get. Burnie doesn't care- he looks straight down the camera as he says the 26% line. He wants the viewer to know he does not give a shit about that 26%. They even go on to call out another joke as low-hanging fruit later on, but never come back to this as John hastily moves the show along.
Like most companies, the only feedback they get is "you're great." They need more people complaining at them. When Jeremy insulted Gavin (as friends do to wind each other up, and playing up for the camera)- he gave Gavin a hug before the podcast was even over because the audience thought he meant it and went to far (he didn't the achievement hunter guys insult each other rotten). Imagine if every single time they made an attack on their audience like that due to their politics- that 26% complained, or complained direct to Otter Media.
Suffice to say, if you want to get Xmas gifts, don't get them from RT this year. You've got hooktube if you want to avoid giving them clicks, and you can even unsubscribe.
Blaine has been laid back and kept out of politics in the past IIRC. You could almost do the virgin & chad meme with him and Burnie.

Of course, this is just going off my own memories and my own accounting of the event.
Keep in mind, Rooster Teeth has a history With Kathleen. She was one of the co-founders and voice of Tex. However, during a confrontation between Barbra and Kathleen over how sexual Rooster Teeth's content was getting, Burnie sided with the Jewess over the Shiksa, Kathleen and RT's relationship deteriorated rapidly, and when Monty died, all the bridges she made there were officially burnt.
Another fun fact: It was Kathleen who hooked Shane up with Monty.

RT fans savaged her for daring to say that the woman who was dating the boss didn't make it solely on merit. Looking back on it, Kathleen did this about the time she was weaning herself off of antidepressants. She may have handled it differently otherwise. People always forget that she came to RT from working in TV and movies which is why she was the producer on RWBY's first season.

I can't find the exact clip, but on one of the Rooster Teeth podcasts around the time of that whole Charlottsville thing. Gus Sorola went on a rant about how he used to hang out with AntiFa and couldn't believe that AntiFa is actually fighting NAZIS on American soil and how it's so heroic and he just can't believe how AntiFa is clearly still needed in America because a woman died fighting nazis in 2017.

Back on the 1on1 podcast between Lindsay and Burnie on the topic of gaming communities there was one part that stuck out to me. Lindsay said that it was sexist that people would ask "What games?" she was into after she said "I'm a gamer.". She clarified it further by saying that it put pressure on her to prove herself as a gamer rather than be accepted face value type of thing, i'm going off memory. I was pretty livid when I listened to that, it's so goddamned stupid. Games is a pretty broad topic, there are genres within genres. If someone is into an entirely different genre than you and neither of you have played any of the same games then you actually have very little in common for specific games to talk about and the conversation changes. Treating it like people are trying to screen her is so egotistical, like everyone that's a gamer that asks that is trying weed out wether or not she's just saying that for attention rather than just trying to further a fucking normal conversation.

That's the thing: Although it's a normal conversation, it is screening, and it's actually healthy. It's just being framed in a way that allows one to play the victim. Two men in the exact same situation would ask each other the exact same question, because they're screening each other for either common ground or shit taste. The same question would of course be posed to a woman, because it's the natural and obvious next question. However, it's also true that many men would pay attention to whether a woman's answer reveals her as simply trying to grab attention, which is common.
Social screening processes are a natural part of human peer bonding, because you have to be able to exclude people who will not improve your life, which humans have been doing for forever, because it keeps us alive, but attention whores can't stand anything that results in them being excluded. SJWs are almost always attention whores, because they derive power from social clout. They most commonly gain social clout by playing the victim, since it's the easiest method that takes no skills, but they can't do that if they've already been excluded. However, exclusion from one group does allow them to run and play victim to the other groups that they're already in, which is why you see them with power and influence in "Nerd Culture," (old media, blogs/vlogs, and journalism) but not with people who actually fucking play video games.
I don't think that women (con artists notwithstanding) usually outright lie about whether or not they enjoy hobbies, but I do think that many women who desire attention will exaggerate the extent to which they enjoy a hobby in order to be included in a group. With this kind of woman, "I'm into video games," would be better translated as "Video games are a group activity that I sometimes participate in and enjoy." It's genuine enjoyment, but it's fundamentally different from what you usually think when you hear that something is someone's hobby, in which it becomes a part of their identity. It would explain why there are so many women who are "into video games," but only play games that are designed for social interaction and demand nothing of you, and are often satisfied just watching their boyfriends play. You don't bother to question whether or not a girl who can play an instrument actually cares about music, but you sure as shit ask that question about a rock band's groupie.

Rooster Teeth was very much against the repeal of so called "Net Neutrality". Here we are almost a year since the repeal and internet speeds have actually gotten faster despite all that fearmongering and what I can only presume was deliberate disinfo. The strangest part is that it looks like they've purged a lot of their personal net neutrality posts from social media. Any link I found to a pro "net neutrality" post after 2014 by "Burnie", Gus, Matt or Jack seemed to be dead.

They explained that it was for "efficiency". It was really so they could answer the ones they wanted too. The VAs and writers were unsurprised. They did read and answer ones about the employee scenario.
Basically: Two new writers, the writing done and set in stone now, there was no fancy trailer so the animators could focus on the show, and the series would come slightly later (Early Nov) so the animators wouldn't be crunched.

There was a “trailer” but it was just footage from an episode that wasn’t finished (black boxes instead of crowds, blue buildings, etc). It was just showing them fighting grim and it was fantastic, it had he smootheness and speed of the red trailer while also having the semi-coordination of the initiation fight. It was possibly the best grim fighting we’ve seen in forever, and it didn’t suffer from season 4 syndrome where characters teleported around.
