why are pc poojeets who already support a digital ecosystem upset over consoles ditching physical games?

nigga struggling to understand that steam doesn't own the hardware we run their software on, in fact they are working to make it even more open by encouraging linux gaming, valve is competing with piracy and not using closed hardware to fight it, valve can not monopolize on pc because they don't own it and don't regulate it, you can run GOG games and even if you have a steam copy of a game there are ways to disable DRM and burn it to physical disk or store it in a hard drive drm free, the closes thing to the freedom of pc on console level is a jailbroken console, plus valve's Steam service doesn't suck and is very reliable and they never acted against the "Imaginary" contract that you own these games in the first place.
