So with the anime close to being all translated, I'm wondering what everyone thought of it. Thought it was okay and nothing special. Clearly inspired by whaling but replacing them with dragons and hunting them in the sky. Food aspect was weaker than what you'd expect within that genre like what you'd see in Dungeon Meshi or Shokugeki no Soma. Mika was a one dimensional food eater. Other characters were a lot more fleshed out than him. There was some action in the middle section that I liked but the overall pace was slice-of-life style. It treated dragon hunting as any other job and I never felt any tension in the show, except for that middle part. Maybe I expected too much from the show but I think I would still call it average even with low expectations.

I haven't read the manga but I'm inclined to after watching the anime, which is a solid 6/10. I don't mind the CG but the manga art looks great and I'd like to learn more about the world.
