any ideas on whether she is a real person, or a TTS? For the most part, her voice sounds natural. I'm german, her accent isn't german, it's bavarian. Clealy. Besides her doing it for 9 or 10 years, long before ai voices, nobody made a tts voice that speaks english with a distinct bavarian accent. At least i hope nobody did.

No, because there are differences in dialects and accents which differ in grammar and vocabulary from Standard German.. Bavarian is a dialect and no accent. Most post WWII bavarian ppl can speak german with bavarian accent.
