it is not a flaw, a hit in that location would kill the carrosel, but that is a kill in a western designed tank too. The problem is that they carried ammo everywhere outside of the carrousel and that made the tank very sucessitble to catastrofic failures, more than the western counterparts. Now the t90 have fixed that with the ammo basket and reinforced the security with the carrossel spall liner.

Tanks are obsolete now. It's almost like I can see the bubble of all that WWI/II war technology as a discrete thing in time now and it's over. Same with movies. I think they are over too and will be remembered as mostly a 20th century artifact like the aircraft carrier or tank.

Training is ideal. The problem you’re discussing is more about recruitment and 10+ year, that’s technically 3 re-enlistments (standard) so, that leaves a lot of management at hand. It’s difficult to ask people to stay on if they want to honorary discharge, they did their service and commitment. So, that’s a big part of the reason the funding and RND in that direction is tailored to a smaller group.

i've got 8mm carbon rods I plan to mount 8mm axle with about 4" roller blade wheels, and secure to bottom of frame pack with bungie cord for suspension. Then an extra set of treking poles to somehow attach to waist. Idea is use normal frame pack and be able to take the weight off legs in all but roughest terrian, without adding much extra weight and the rods and cord will be dual use.

Picrel mono-wheel would be more interesting if it could also be a wheel barrow with load more over the wheel.

THERMITE

Ingredients:

Iron Oxide

Aluminium foil

Magnesium ribbon

Plastic bowl

Face mask

Gloves

Containers

Jars

Marbles

Coffee grinder

Paper coffee filter

Step 1:

Cut the aluminium foil into tiny pieces and blend them in the coffee grinder until you get a decent powder. Then pulverise. Store the powder in a jar.

Step 2:

Put Iron junk on the plastic container, then fill with water. Just wait until you have a decent amount of rust in the container. Then use the filter to filter out the Iron Oxide out of the water and then you have the powder. Put the powder in the sun to dry off. Pulverise and store in a jar.

Step 3:

Put 3 or 4 marbles inside a plastic jar. Put the powder inside the jar and shake. The marbles will pulverise the powder and make it finer.

Step 4:

In order to make the thermite you need to mix on paper 8 grams of Iron Oxide to 3 grams of Aluminium Powder ratio, then put the mix in a plastic jar and shake.

Step 5:

In order to ignite the thermite, you need to place a strip of the Magnesium ribbon onto the thermite and light the Magnesium ribbon with a match/lighter. Now the thermite should melt anything you put above it.

It would probably be a very large, elongated gun due to all the capacitors and coils needed, along with other built-in components (like the battery that powers the rest of the electrical components of the gun).
