Years ago, a servicemember posted about a bad experience with a typical black female DMV worker. A member of law enforcement - who we will refer to as 'poopypants' - took it on themselves to find that servicemember's name and report him to his command. How they got his actual name is "a mystery."

The servicemember suffered career setbacks. The only consequences for the cop was he got a free name change and post history scrub. One day while I was working out early morning some crazy guy ran towards me with 2 12in bowie knives. I bolted the fuck out of there and ran like hell to a public place, I called the police once I was already there

MY QUESTION:

I was wondering what would be the best street self defense weapon for a situation like this? Also the weapon has to be inconspicous or concealable (I live in the UK). So no guns or anything.

MY IDEAS:

Against knives, I could bring a bat with me, cause it is a longer range weapon and could be more effective against a short range weapon such as a knife. Also if any one asks I could say that I am using it for working it (i.e practicing swings for shoulder workout or some bullshit)

Another idea was bring a knife, it is not inconspicous, since if someone sees it I can't make a bullshit excuse, but on the other hand I can hide more effectively.

A good medium would be a multitool with a knife like a leatherman surge. Cause I bullshit saying that it is a multitool and I use it for my EDC and for self defense it has a good knife on it.

Bringing extra weights may the most inconspicous, cause I have the best excuse for bringing them (i.e. working out) but dunno how I would use them to protect myself

Literally can't travel to some states (and MANY countries) w/o having some kind of negative covid paperwork. Ok ladies time to hurt some feelings and state some facts. Today I'd like to talk with you about the M1 rifle. First stop calling it a garand that is not its designation it's not called a garand that is not its name it is called the M1 rifle. I don't call your M1 carbine a William's carbine so stop calling my m1 rifle a damn garand. For those of you that want to call it a garand anyway just remember it's a browning bolt design. Now as for ammo capacity. This is really going to freak some of you out but just know that I dont care. M1 rifle ammunition comes on clips ready to load into the rifle in 192 round ammo cans. It changes clips in a one step reload process. Now let's go out to the field. Ok I have am M1 and 2 ammo cans for it. You have an ar15, 3 magazines and 2 ammo cans for it. We need to fire 300 rounds a piece into a jeep located 400 yards down the road. We start shooting. You fire 90 rounds in the time it takes me to fire 32. Now you are out of loaded magazines and I have just got the hang of slamming clips into my gun. You start reloading magazines I keep shooting. You keep loading your mags even though my hot brass is raining onto you like hail. Soon your mags are full again but you've fired 90 rounds only and I've fired 208. You unload again now you have fired 180 rounds to my 240. You get to of your mags reloaded but right then I call done and throw my rifle down having fired 300 aimed rounds at a steady controlled rate you have fired barely over half as many rounds with your high capacity box mag fed ar15. To get to this point I have carried a Sleek streamlined rifle and to ammo cans you have carried the equivalent of a light machine gun plus magazines plus ammo cans. At this point we can clearly see that in sustained fire the M1 feed system far out does a box mag system in the field. Now if we go look at the jeep we will see that my slow steady aimed fire has devastated its critical mechanical areas while the rapid suppression style fire you have delivered has spread bullet holes throughout it and around it with only about half all of your rounds Landing in critical areas. That is why it was designed to hold just 8 rounds. Not because the good folks and the Ordinance Department are slow in the head as a matter of fact you may find that they are smarter than you and that oleg volk is a sex pervert who takes pictures of naked kids

hey, im researching to build an untraceable armalite (in Minecraft for legal reasons). I live in canada near the us border so i can just drive over and buy some of the parts without issue

So, when building a functioning ar15, do i just 3d print the lower receiver(the only regulated part) and then buy the upper receiver/other parts and assemble it. is there anything else I need to know. I comprehensive youtube video would also be helpful

Why are gunstore owners such pricks? I have yet to walk into a gunstore where the owners aren't humongous assholes for no fucking reason. They ignore customers, they get indignant when you ask questions, they get pissy if you want to compare, even asking for basic fucking directions elicits groans. All the shops near my house are like this, I thought it was just a WA thing, but I got o OR and it's the same fucking thing.This wouldn't be a problem if they didn't charge outrageous fucking prices on their shit.
