On Monday Senator Grassley released a letter he sent to the “institutionally corrupted to the very core” FBI. The gangsters who took over the FBI during the Obama Administration turned it into a far-left criminal enterprise.

Grassley pointed out that FBI Assistant Special Agent Timothy Thibault shared anti-Trump social media posts while covering up Hunter Biden’s laptop scandal.

Before the 2020 Election the FBI used Thibault as their spokesperson to suggest the 2020 Election was free and fair. What a joke. This provides more evidence that it wasn’t free and fair.

This man never should have been near the FBI in a fair and just environment. He’s just another dirty cop in the long list of recent FBI dirty cops.

UPDATE: Another Michigan News Station Leaks Test GOP Primary Election Results – But Tweaked the Numbers …What’s Going On?

Late Sunday night, we broke a story that at least a couple of Michigan news stations had leaked what seemed to be 2022 Primary results in Michigan on their website.

This explosive revelation went viral online.

The next day, the Michigan Dept. of State released a “Fact Check” on the leaked primary numbers:

“Online sites that regularly spread conspiracy theories, misinformation and other falsehoods have unsurprisingly seized on this as evidence of something nefarious when it is nothing more than human error by an organization that has nothing to do with election administration.”

As mentioned in a follow-up article on Monday, Georgia also had the same issue come up prior to their primary in late May. Following Georgia’s miscue, Michigan had two stations on Sunday that did the same thing and somehow managed to publish the results “live”. Despite Channel 3 WWMT’s “regrettable human error”, nothing seems to have been learned from their peers.

Two days since that “hiccup”, we now have a third station publishing results:

According to Justin Barclay, on Tuesday, July 26th FOX 17 joined a growing list of organizations that have gone “live” with test election results that use realistic vote totals, accurate candidate names and races, and do not show a disclaimer of any sort suggesting this is a test:

Ex- Andrew Cuomo Staffer Struck and Killed by Car After Lyft Driver Kicks Him Out

An ex-staffer for former New York governor Andrew Cuomo was hit by a car and killed after a Lyft driver kicked him out onto the highway.

The staffer, Sidney Wolf, and a few of his friends were kicked out of the Lyft ride in Delaware late Sunday.

“As the group was traveling southbound on Coastal Highway all in the same vehicle, a disagreement occurred between the group and the Lyft operator,” police said in a statement.

According to reports, a Toyota Corolla struck Wolf after the driver tried to avoid hitting the Lyft.

Wolf was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The Lyft driver took off and the ridesharing company said he has been permanently removed as a driver.

A one-time staffer of former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was killed after he was ordered out of a Lyft and got struck by a car in Delaware Sunday, authorities said.

The man, identified by Cuomo on Twitter as Sid Wolf, and five friends had ordered a Lyft to pick them up in Dewey Beach and take them to Bethany Beach, according to Delaware State Police.

The Lyft driver stopped in the middle of a lane and “demanded all six passengers exit the vehicle,” police said.

A 2016 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 27-year-old man, was traveling toward the car when it stopped abruptly, and changed lanes to avoid hitting the Lyft, according to police. But the driver didn’t see people had gotten out of the car and struck Wolf.

Andrew Cuomo released a statement on the death of his former staffer.

“Shocked & saddened to hear this tragic news. Sid was a phenomenal public servant who worked relentlessly for the betterment of all NY’ers” Cuomo said.

“My heart goes out to Lindsey & his two young daughters,” he added.

Ukraine's Timoshenko reveals ‘scam of the century’

Ukraine’s state-owned Naftogaz gas company has sought to embezzle $8 billion, the former PM claims

Ukraine’s state-owned Naftogaz gas company is supposedly running a massive embezzlement scheme as it seeks to get billions of dollars from the government for alleged gas purchases even though Ukraine presumably does not need additional gas for the winter, Yulia Timoshenko, an MP and the head of the ‘Fatherland’ party, claimed on Monday.

According to Timoshenko, the lawmakers were about to pass several bills that would grant Naftogaz additional funding for gas purchases ahead of the winter. One of them would grant the company “compensation” from the budget that was worth 150 billion hryvnas ($4.08 billion) to purchase an additional six billion cubic meters of natural gas abroad.

The government planned to use international financial aid provided to Ukraine by Western nations for that “compensation,” Timoshenko’s party wrote in a statement last week. According to Timoshenko herself, Naftogaz also sought to request another 150 billion hryvnas ($4.08 billion) from the budget to increase its authorized share capital and then use the money to buy the gas.

Timoshenko, who also served as Ukraine’s prime minister between 2007 and 2010, also argued that this additional gas purchase for the upcoming winter heating season was not needed at all. According to the MP, Ukraine already produces and stores enough gas for the winter and might even get up to seven billion excessive cubic meters of gas during the upcoming heating season.

On Monday, Timoshenko claimed that Naftogaz was still planning the “scam of the century” by embezzling up to 264 billion hryvnas ($7.18 billion) and “sending them to offshores.” She also called on the administration of President Volodymyr Zelensky to organize a meeting between his administration officials, MPs, and independent experts, as well as diplomats from the G7 nations to discuss the situation.

“Could the president not be aware? Are you not aware of the ‘scam of the century’ that Naftogaz is currently implementing?” she wondered in her post.

The lawmaker said that the Ukrainian MPs are set to discuss the relevant bills later in July. Last week, her party said it had blocked bills to supposedly prevent embezzlement by Naftogaz. RT could not independently verify Timoshenko’s claims related to the Naftogaz activities. Neither the Ukrainian presidential office nor the company itself have commented on the issue yet.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Ukrainian media reported that Naftogaz creditors had rejected the company’s request for a two-year debt payment freeze. Naftogaz made the proposal earlier this month, citing “significant economic and business decline in Ukraine” caused by the ongoing conflict with Russia.

Naftogaz is Ukraine’s largest state-owned oil and gas company and a major source of income, accounting for almost 17% of the country’s total state budget revenue last year.

In accepting the award, Zelensky attributed it as an honour not just for himself, but the Ukrainian people, while swearing that people would look back on the Ukrainian crisis in the same way that people look back on the victories of the second world war.

“This will become a joint history, as prominent as it was during Churchill times. It will be quoted just like he was quoted,” Zelensky said.

“I would like to thank you, thank you for this award, for the award for the people of Ukraine,” he went on to say.

Dutch Farmers Block Highways with Manure and Burning Hay to Protest Globalist Climate Agenda

In an escalation of actions taken in protest against the governments plans to shut down vast swaths of farmlands, Dutch farmers dumped manure on highways across the Netherlands on Wednesday morning.

The Netherlands was left scrambling trying to clear dozens of road blockades, consisting of manure, hay, tyres, and other waste heaped on the roads by supporters of the Dutch farmer protest movement against the globalist government of PM Mark Rutte trying to impose draconian EU-based regulations on nitrogen that could see up to 30 per cent of farms disappear in the country.

As of this reporting there has been no police action taken, despite several of the piles of hay or other blockades being set on fire. According to public broadcaster Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (NOS), a police spokesman said that it would be difficult to ascertain who exactly left the manure or other waste on the highways and that the ministry for public works would be responsible for clearing the roads, so therefore no police action would be taken.

Tensions have previously run hot after police squared off with farmer protesters, with one officer even going so far as to fire his gun at a teenager behind the wheel of a tractor. Though the shots missed, the police force was heavily criticised for the disproportionate use of lethal force.

Condemning the latest round of actions from the farmers on Wednesday, a Ministry of Agriculture spokesman said: “Protesting is only allowed within the limits of the law. That is not this. This is also not the way to progress together,” adding that the government would like to see the farmers come to the negotiating table to air their grievances with the climate goals.

A public works spokesman added that it is a “very undesirable situation,” saying that it could endanger motorists, “not just burning hay bales, but everything on the road that drivers have to swerve for.”

The direct action has reportedly received some support from drivers, with an on the scene reporter for RTV Oos claiming: “Some raise their thumbs. You see sympathy for the actions, but others shake their heads, because it does cause a lot of delay.”

Mexican Army Arrests 37 Cartel Gunmen During Coastal State Raid

Mexico’s military arrested 37 cartel gunmen and seized a large cache of weapons and ammunition without a single shot fired this week.

The raid took place in the state of Michoacan, where two military groups set up operations near the city of Hidalgo. According to information released by the Mexican Army, the groups worked to track down cartel gunmen and were able to locate their camp near a ranch called “Caracol” or snail. The military forces set up a perimeter and then moved in to the property.

According to the prepared statement by the Mexican military, despite having a large supply of weapons and ammunition, the gunmen tried to run instead of fight.

Authorities arrested 37 gunmen and seized 35 rifles, 3 grenades, a grenade launcher, 170 magazines, and 5,280 rounds of ammunition. They found three hats with the logo “CJNG,” a reference to Cartel Jalisco New Generation, which has been trying to take control of the region from a collection of organizations under the name Carteles Unidos.

While news outlets in Mexico reported that the gunmen were from CJNG, law enforcement sources say they are in fact members of a small organization known as Los Correa under orders from Daniel “El Trigre” Correa — allied with the Familia Michoacana and Carteles Unidos. However, in recent weeks, Los Correa broke away from La Familia and began talks with CJNG.

Western energy firms to exit Russian oil project

Norway’s Equinor and France’s Total will sell their stakes due to anti-Russia sanctions

The Russian government has issued an order for the shares held by Norway’s energy company Equinor and France’s TotalEnergies in a major oil field, to be transferred to the project’s operator, state-run Zarubezhneft.

The European companies decided to pull out of the Kharyaga oil project due to international sanctions against Russia. Equinor held a 30% stake in the field, and Total owned 20%. The terms of the equity transfers have not been disclosed.

Both firms had been part of the Kharyaga onshore oil development, located in Russia’s Arctic, for over 20 years. It is one of three production sharing projects in Russia, with two others – Sakhalin 1 and Sakhalin 2 – operating larger offshore oil and gas deposits near Sakhalin Island in Russia’s Far East.

Zarubezhneft will now hold a 90% stake in Kharyaga, with locally owned Nenets Oil holding the remaining 10%.

Other Western energy giants, including Shell, BP and ExxonMobil, have also left Russia in recent months due to sanctions.

Pelosi in peril: Pentagon plays down fears China will SHOOT DOWN Nancy's plane if she visits Taiwan after Beijing warned U.S will 'bear all consequences'

U.S. officials today said they have little fear that China could attack Nancy Pelosi's plane if she flies to Taiwan as Beijing doubled down on their threat to take 'firm and strong measures' if the House speaker visits the island.

If Pelosi does travel to Taiwan, which is still an uncertainty, the U.S. military would increase its movement of forces and assets in the Indo-Pacific region, officials said.

The officials declined to provide details of their plans, but said that fighter jets, ships, surveillance assets and other military systems would likely be used to provide overlapping rings of protection for her flight to Taiwan and any time on the ground there.

The US military is also reportedly considering deploying a multi-domain task force that would utilize missile, electronic and cyber capabilities in an integrated manner in Asia, according to the Japanese news outlet Nikkei News.

Any foreign travel by a senior U.S. leader requires additional security. But officials said this week that a visit to Taiwan by Pelosi - who would be the highest-ranking U.S. elected official to visit the island since 1997 - would go beyond the usual safety precautions for trips to less risky destinations.

It comes as China warned today that Washington would 'bear the consequences' if Pelosi visits Taiwan - days after threatening to take 'resolute and forceful measures' against the US if the trip goes ahead.

'If the US pushes ahead and challenges China's bottom line… the US side will bear all the consequences arising therefrom,' Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said at a regular press conference.

Self-governed Taiwan's 23 million people live under the constant threat of invasion by authoritarian China, which views the island as its territory and has vowed to one day seize it, by force if necessary.

Count me among the Americans who miss the days before I knew who Anthony Fauci was— but if there’s one thing we can be thankful for given his desperate attempt to extend his 15 minutes of fame, it’s the corruption that has been revealed under that spotlight.

The scandal revealed horrendous testing being carried out on beagle puppies by the NIH. According to the WCW, “dogs were covered in ticks and flies, de-barked, and poisoned with experimental drugs.” They even exposed NIH-funded tests in which puppies were injected with cocaine.

But somehow it gets even worse.

The WCW says, “In February 2022, we received documents through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) showing that the NIH was purchasing puppies from disgraced breeder Envigo — at a cost to taxpayers of $1,300 per dog. According to records obtained by White Coat Waste Project (WCW), the 2-year-old beagles had pneumonia-causing bacteria forced directly into their lungs to cause septic shock, then NIH white coats waited to see how long the dogs lived. If they made it over 96 hours, they were considered ‘survivors,’ and then killed.”

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas will not be teaching a course at George Washington University's law school after students protested his role with the school.

An email announcing the decision was sent by Thomas' expected co-lecturer Gregory Maggs and obtained by Fox News Digital.

"Unfortunately, I am writing with some sad news: Justice Thomas has informed me that he is unavailable to co-teach the seminar this fall. I know that this is disappointing," Maggs wrote.

Ms. White expressed her concern for younger people who will have to “fear” the result of unprotected sex.

Abortion access has supposedly become “a war” and White advocated for women to “manifest on the streets, on the page, and in conversation.” Yes, take to the streets to ensure that you have the “right” to kill your babies after you choose to engage in unprotected sex. That’s the narrative these lunatics want you to buy.

White’s key line was: “If every man went into sex thinking, ‘Do I want to have children with this woman?’—the idea would be seen as patently absurd.”

That’s the thing though. Every time you have sex you should recognize that there is a chance of pregnancy resulting. If you don’t want to take that chance, don’t! Very simple math.

Keeping sex fun is not the most important conversation to be had right now. But it cannot go without being said. Our war to regain equality as women in this country must be won on as many fronts as possible.

West Virginia Committee Passes Abortion Ban Protecting Lives of Unborn Babies

A second West Virginia House committee has advanced a pro-life bill that would ban abortions, protecting the lives of unborn babies from conception.

The state legislature is holding a special session on a few political issues, including abortion. Knowing that the state’s old abortion ban is tied up in courts, supposedly for lack of clarity, Governor Jim Justice called on the legislature to pass a new abortion ban that would stand up in court following the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

“From the moment the Supreme Court announced their decision in Dobbs, I said that I would not hesitate to call a Special Session once I heard from our Legislative leaders that they had done their due diligence and were ready to act,” Justice said in a statement. “As I have said many times, I very proudly stand for life and I believe that every human life is a miracle worth protecting.”

Justice said he wanted the legislature to produce a pro-life bill to “ensure a coherent, comprehensive framework governing abortions and attendant family services and support to expecting mothers to provide the citizens of this State more certainty in the application of such laws.”

Yesterday, the House Health and Human Resources Committee passed an abortion ban that protects babies from abortions starting at fertilization — only allowing abortions in cases where the life of the mother is in danger and when the baby is severely disabled. The measure also makes it clear that ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages are not abortions and can be treated under the law.

Tennessee and Idaho Abortion Bans Will Go Into Effect August 25th

Two states will have abortion bans going into effect next month that will protect more babies from abortions.

Thanks to the Supreme Court making its Dobbs decision official yesterday, trigger laws in Tennessee and Idaho that ban abortions when Roe v. Wade is overturned will go into effect August 25th. That will protect all babies from abortions and only allow abortions in very limited instances.

In June, the Tennessee heartbeat law went into effect following the Dobbs decision. The pro-life law protects babies from abortions and it has already been responsible for closing two abortion businesses. While the pro-life law bans abortions on babies when their heart starts beating, the trigger law will offer full legal protection for unborn children starting from conception.

Christopher Saputa, a Tarpon Springs-based abortionist, ends the lives of unborn babies at the American Family Planning clinic in Pensacola. And he almost ended the lives of three women when he failed to provide proper post-abortion medical care when their botched abortions caused medical emergencies.

Saputa is so incompetent that the health department suspended his license and called him a “great public danger” when he left three women to die after their abortions. He is so bad that even a nurse at the abortion business complained about how shoddy he is and said Saputa should have initiated emergency transport sooner than he did in at least one case.

Russia Fired On Israeli Jets Over Syria In "One-Off": Israel's Defense Chief

On Tuesday Israel's defense chief issued a surprise admission connected to the war in Syria, specifically related to the literally hundreds of strikes Israel's air force has conducted on targets in Syria over the past few years.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz described an incident in May wherein Israeli military jets operating over Syria were engaged and fired on by a Russian anti-aircraft battery. He said the Russian missiles missed their target, downplaying it as a "one-off incident".

Israel has of late semi-regularly attacked positions in and around Damascus, especially to the south and near the Golan Heights, claiming to be targeting "Iranian assets" and weaponry.

Last month for example, Syria was forced to halt all flights from Damascus international airport, the country's largest, following Israeli airstrikes that destroyed runways and crucial infrastructure, earning severe condemnation from Moscow.

Reuters presents the context behind Defense Minister Gantz's disclosure in the following:

But Israel's Channel 13 TV reported that, on May 13, a Russian-operated S-300 air defense battery fired on Israeli jets as they carried out a Syria sortie - without hitting any.

"It was a one-off incident," Gantz told a conference hosted by Channel 13, when asked to confirm the report. The Russian launch happened when the aircraft "were no longer around", he said.

The Syrian Army regularly seeks to repel Israeli raids via its own Russian-supplied anti-air defense systems, but the unprecedented aspect to the May incident is that it was an S-300 unit operated by the Russian military in Syria that targeted the Israeli aircraft. It may have been the Russians giving Israeli forces a severe and final warning.

Russia has been getting more forceful in its denunciations of these airstrikes, with a similar July 2 daytime attack that reportedly killed two Syrian civilians resulting in Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova saying the following: "We strongly condemn such irresponsible actions that violate the sovereignty of Syria and the basic norms of international law, and we demand their unconditional cessation."

Republicans think a “red wave” is inevitable in November. But the Democrats still have one big advantage: the ever-tightening grip of Big Tech censorship, which will be used to prevent undecided voters from encountering even the most mainstream conservative news in the runup to the next election. Republicans will have a strong message — but what if voters are prevented from hearing it?

In the runup to the 2020 U.S. presidential election, Google completely suppressed Breitbart News from its search results. Compared to 2016, Breibart News went into the 2020 election with a 99.7 percent reduction in visibility for its links on Google search. The censorship was so severe, no-name blogs with plagiarized headlines and content would appear in search results before the original Breitbart News articles. On searches for the term “Joe Biden,” Google cut visibility on Breitbart News links to zero.

Then, a few weeks before the election, Big Tech teamed up to suppress one of the biggest stories of the cycle: the Hunter Biden laptop story. A post-election poll found that 17 percent of Biden voters would have reconsidered their decision had they been aware of the laptop story alone, not counting the hundreds of Breitbart News stories voters didn’t have access to due to Google censorship.

Biden’s margin of victory in three swing states was less than a percentage point, making tech censorship a pivotal factor in the outcome. There is no law preventing Silicon Valley from not only repeating this plan in 2022, but scaling it up to a massive level – and that’s exactly what they are doing. #1 “Independent” Watchdogs Downgrading Conservative Media — NewsGuard Discredits The Right

No matter how mainstream you are, you aren’t safe. NewsGuard, the establishment “misinformation” watchdog that received funding from the Pentagon and whose software is being rolled out by millions of schoolteachers across the country, recently downgraded Fox News in its rankings of trustworthy and untrustworthy news sources.

NewsGuard users will now see a red warning label next to Fox News links all around the internet, signaling to users that the source is considered untrustworthy by the organization, which was set up by former establishment media figures Steven Brill and L. Gordon Crovitz in 2018, in the early years of the media-concocted “misinformation” panic.

Fox News and Breitbart News have now both received the negative “red” rating from NewsGuard. This means that, going into the 2022 midterm elections, NewsGuard is warning its users not to read the two leading conservative-leaning sources of online news.

Naturally, the sources that pushed the Russiagate hoax and said the Hunter Biden laptop was “Russian disinfo” — a claim repeated by NewsGuard’s co-founder — receive no such warning label.

Silicon Valley has also found a way to censor all conservative media at the same time. For years, the left has been wailing and screaming about the success of conservative media on Facebook. Despite algorithm changes that suppressed traffic to conservative websites — by a whopping 20 percent in the case of Breitbart News — conservative media has continued to crush the competition.

Facebook has an answer: if conservative media is winning the news war on its platform, it will simply suppress all news at the same time. This month, the Wall Street Journal reported that the platform is shifting resources away from its News Tab and news distribution, and towards a “creator economy.” This means that news will be featured less frequently to users, whether they ask for it or not. This is a way of preventing unwanted narratives from reaching the public, at the very moment when news coverage of the failures of Democrat rule in D.C. will be ramping up.

This is a repeat of what Facebook did after the 2016 election when it reduced the visibility of political posts — a change that resulted in engagement on Donald Trump’s page dropping by almost half.

'Israel' taking Sayyed Nasrallah's threats seriously: Israeli media

The Israeli military and security apparatuses are taking Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's threats seriously, Israeli Channel 12 said Wednesday, noting that the Israeli occupation forces are raising their level of alert.

"These are not the first threats that Nasrallah makes. But this time, he is specifying the time and making clear cut conditions regarding the start of the extraction of gas from the Karish gas field," the Israeli TV channel said.

"There are more and more forces and more and more reconnaissance operations, as well as an increase in preparedness in the region - something the eyes can't see. You do not see the soldiers in specific places, and you do not see more Navy vessels, but yes. There is more preparedness on all levels," Channel 12 added.

The sources made the revelations Tuesday morning, following statements from Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who warned the Israeli occupation against committing any provocations against Lebanon, saying there were no Israeli targets in the sea or on land that are out of the reach of the resistance's precision missiles.

"The security and military establishment in Israel raised the level of alert and preparedness in light of the issues and stalling of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel regarding the demarcation of the maritime borders, as well as accessing the Karish gas field and extracting oil from it in September," Israeli media said.

Israeli occupation Reserve Major General Amos Gilad called on "Tel Aviv" to take Sayyed Nasrallah's threats made against the Israeli occupation on Monday seriously.

"Nasrallah's threats must be taken seriously, and [the Israeli occupation forces] must prepare," Gilad told Israeli public broadcaster KAN. "If they attack the Karish rig or any other rig, that will definitely lead to a confrontation that can have many dimensions."

Warning the Israeli occupation against committing any provocations against Lebanon, Sayyed Nasrallah said there were no Israeli targets in the sea or land out of the reach of the Resistance's precision missiles.

Sayyed Nasrallah underscored that the Israeli occupation realized, through the July war, that confrontation with the resistance was dangerous and that the resistance's capabilities were much more than just confrontations at the border.

"Since 2006, the enemy does not dare take any action against Lebanon," the Resistance leader said, noting that "Tel Aviv" was only resorting to run-of-the-mill operations that leave no mark in Lebanon.

After decades of failure, California dusts off controversial Delta tunnel water project

Here we go again. Gov. Gavin Newsom’s administration revived the Delta tunnel project Wednesday, unveiling a downsized version of the controversial, multibillion-dollar plan to re-engineer the fragile estuary on Sacramento’s doorstep that serves as the hub of California’s over-stressed water-delivery network. After three years with little to no public activity, the state released an environmental blueprint for what’s now called the Delta Conveyance — a 45-mile tunnel that would divert water from the Sacramento River and route it under the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta so that it can be shipped to farms and cities hundreds of miles away. The blueprint, a 3,000-page draft version of an environmental impact report, is a necessary initial step in securing approvals for the project.

Officials said the single-tunnel proposal, running roughly parallel to Interstate 5, is simpler and creates fewer disruptions than the twin-tunnel plan championed by former Gov. Jerry Brown. Newsom scrapped that plan within weeks of taking office in early 2019 and directed his administration to begin developing a Delta project with a smaller footprint. But the pitch Newsom’s team is making is much the same as the one Brown made: The project is needed to make the Bay Area and Southern California’s water supply more reliable while reducing the harm the current system inflicts on the estuary’s troubled ecosystem. The tunnel, proponents say, would ease the stress on endangered fish species that ply the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers.

In one, scientists from around the world used mapping tools and social media reports to do a spatial and environmental analysis. They suggest that although the “exact circumstances remain obscure,” the virus was probably present in live animals sold at the market in late 2019. The animals were held close together and could easily have exchanged germs. However, the study does not determine which animals may have been sick.

The researchers determined that the earliest Covid-19 cases were centered at the market among vendors who sold these live animals or people who shopped there. They believe that there were two separate viruses circulating in the animals that spilled over into people.

“All eight COVID-19 cases detected prior to 20 December were from the western side of the market, where mammal species were also sold,” the study says. The proximity to five stalls that sold live or recently butchered animals was predictive of human cases.
