More accusations of abuse at a Cape Cod summer camp. More than a dozen people now claim they were abused as children in the 70's and 80's at Camp Good News in Sandwich, Massachusetts. An attorney representing the alleged victims claims the camp was involved in a cover-up. "If thirteen people have contacted me in the last month claiming to have been sexually molested at this camp, than there is something wrong at this camp," said Attorney Mitchell Garabedian of Boston.
The floodgates opened after Senator Scott Brown revealed in his memoir he had been molested at a summer camp on the Cape back in the 70's. Brown never named Camp Good News, but officials there confirmed Brown attended their camp forty years ago.

A mourning site set up near the place where Ali Khamenei was killedhas been shut down after shroud-wearing ultra-hardliners turned it into a three-day sit-in, exposing a widening rift inside Iran’s loyalist campover how to use the slain leader’s memory.
The site, known as Ravagh Keshvardoust, had been turned into a shrine-like space in central Tehran for prayer, mourning and ritual gatherings after Khamenei’s killing.
In Iranian religious architecture, a ravagh usually refers to a covered hall or portico attached to a shrine. In this case, the term was being used for a temporary devotional space around the site of Khamenei’s death.
According to Jamaran, a news outlet close to the family of the Islamic Republic’s founder Ruhollah Khomeini, organizers closed the site after a group of kafan-poushan, or shroud-wearers, arrived from Mashhad on Ashura (June 25) and occupied the space under the banner of “avenging the blood of the slain leader.”

Putin says Russia ready to resume US talks on Iran
Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow expects to resume discussions with the United States on Iran once the current active phase of the crisis has passed.
"Once all the developments in the active phase on the Iran track are over, we expect to welcome the representatives of the U.S. administration, with whom we have already met repeatedly in Moscow," Putin said.

Exiled prince calls on Iranians to protest Trump's Iran policy
Iran's exiled prince Reza Pahlavi has called on the United States not to engage with Tehran, in an apparent protest against President Donald Trump’s diplomatic opening with Iran.
In a call to action, Pahlavi said Iranians would hold a “Global Week of Action for a Free Iran” from July 4 to 9, beginning with gatherings outside US embassies in capitals around the world.
“Our message to the American people and government on their Independence Day is clear:Do not deal with terrorists. Choose the people of Iran,” he said.
Pahlavi said the campaign would coincide with what he described as the Islamic Republic’s “propaganda and deceptive programs” around the burial of slain Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as well as the sixth month anniversary of the January 8-9 uprising.

Moscow will not give Kiev a chance to halt the advance of Russian troops or force negotiations on Ukraine’s terms, Russian President Vladimir Putin told journalist Pavel Zarubin on Sunday.
Strikes on Russian civilian infrastructure are being carried out not only to cause damage, but also to fuel an information operation aimed at undermining public confidence, sowing division in Russian society and pressuring Moscow to pause its offensive, Putin added.
“They want to force Russia to suspend, at least for a short time, the advance of our troops along the line of contact and create conditions for launching negotiations on terms favorable to them – that is, to our adversary,” he said. “We will not give them such a chance.”
According to the president, Ukrainian attacks on civilian infrastructure are quickly repaired and do not affect the situation on the front line, while Russia’s retaliatory strikes deep inside Ukraine are far more powerful.However, contacts on a possible settlement of the conflict are ongoing through several channels and Moscow carefully considers every proposal, he said.(Witkoff is probably helping)

Former US President Joe Biden has called Donald Trump a “loser,” accusing his successor of narcissism, vanity, and “brazen, blatant corruption.” The remarks came on the second anniversary of his fumbled debate performance against Trump, which ultimately led to him dropping his bid for re-election.
Biden delivered the attack at the Maryland Democratic Party’s gala event at a casino on Saturday, where candidates were on the campaign trail ahead of November’s mid-term elections.
He berated Trump over “his deliberate distortion and destruction of NATO”as well as what he described as “vanity projects.”
The ex-US president recalled that Trump had torn down the East Wing of the White House to make room for his ballroom, put his name on the Kennedy Center, planned to build an arch in his own honor, and even hired “his own pool guy to fix the reflecting pool” at the Lincoln Memorial.
“Whoa, what a loser,” Biden quipped.
Biden was referring to Trump’s $14-million repainting of the Lincoln Memorial pool, which was followed by repeated algae blooms after the repairs. The contract – which was being fulfilled at a frantic pace – also went, without competitive bidding, to a firm that had previously worked on a pool at one of Trump’s golf clubs.
The former US president also accused Trump of “corruption on a scale never seen before in American history in any administration,” claiming he had made billions of dollars since his return to the White House.
Biden also voiced outrage over the Trump administration’s plans to pay compensation to those who claim to have been wrongfully targeted during the January 6 Capitol Hill riots. The ex-US leader suggested that instead of enjoying payouts, these people should be “put in jail for a long, long, long time.”
While Biden branded Trump a “loser,” it was he who was widely ridiculed over his June 2024 debate performance against the Republican nominee. At the time, Biden – already beset by public concerns about his age and fitness – appeared confused and lost his train of thought on several occasions.
Just days after the debate disaster, congressional Democrats began publicly urging him to drop out. Biden ultimately withdrew the following month and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, who went on to lose the election to Trump.
