Le Premier ministre français met en garde contre l'escalade des manifestations scolaires après l'arrestation de 164 personnes

Le Premier ministre français Sébastien Lecornu a averti que toute escalade dans la vague actuelle de manifestations étudiantes dans le pays serait "irresponsable", à la suite de l'arrestation de 164 personnes lundi.
Les manifestations, qui ont débuté à Paris et ont vu des adolescents bloquer leurs écoles pendant des jours, découlent de problèmes tels que les classes surpeuplées et la pénurie d'enseignants.
Lecornu a cité des incidents signalés lors de manifestations dans un article sur X, déclarant: "Feux d'artifice, incendies, violences près des lycées: rien ne justifie de mettre en danger les élèves, le personnel ou les policiers."
Mais un syndicat français qui défend les intérêts des lycéens a déclaré que les manifestations étaient une "réponse légitime" aux conditions auxquelles ils sont confrontés.
Le ministre de l'Intérieur Laurent Nuñez a déclaré que 12 membres des forces de sécurité, 12 élèves et trois membres du personnel scolaire avaient été blessés lundi, tandis que 180 écoles étaient touchées.
Il n'a pas fourni plus de détails sur ceux qui avaient été arrêtés.
Le mouvement dans les lycées français, équivalent de la sixième au Royaume-Uni ou du lycée aux États - Unis, a débuté la semaine dernière en Île-de-France autour de Paris.
Des incidents de vandalisme ont été signalés, ainsi que des feux d'artifice visant la police, et les manifestations se sont maintenant étendues à d'autres régions de France.
Selon l'agence de presse AFP, quatre lycées auraient été bloqués dans les régions méridionales des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var. Des manifestations ont également été signalées à Marseille, dans le nord de Lille et à Sedan dans le nord-est des Ardennes.
L'Union Syndicale Lycéenne, qui représente les étudiants, a défendu les manifestations dans un message sur les réseaux sociaux.
"Manque d'enseignants et de personnel, écoles délabrées, horaires et classes surchargés, stress causé par Parcoursup [la plateforme web utilisée en France pour que les étudiants puissent postuler en première année d'enseignement supérieur]… Ces problèmes ne sont en aucun cas inévitables, mais simplement le résultat de 10 ans de politique de Macron et du manque de moyens dans le système éducatif national", a-t-il déclaré.
Il a appelé les étudiants à bloquer les écoles mardi pour défendre "leurs droits et contre l'austérité budgétaire".
Le même jour, les syndicats représentant les enseignants, le personnel hospitalier et les fonctionnaires ont également appelé à une journée de débrayages pour protester contre des problèmes tels que les bas salaires et les conditions de travail.
""En réponse au mouvement étudiant, Lecornu a déclaré que "les difficultés des lycées doivent être entendues et traitées", mais que "la violence doit être condamnée sans équivoque, et ses auteurs doivent répondre de leurs actes".
Le Premier ministre a également accusé le parti d'extrême gauche France insoumise (LFI) d'exhorter les étudiants à élargir le mouvement.

Mais Nuñez a déclaré que les manifestations et les blocages n'étaient "pas des mouvements de protestation très typiques".
"Cela ressemble beaucoup plus à des violences urbaines, avec un certain nombre d'individus masqués, équipés de feux d'artifice dans des tubes, équipés de projectiles, qui voulaient clairement affronter les forces de sécurité intérieure", a-t-il déclaré.
"Il ne s'agissait pas de faire des demandes; c'était vraiment de la violence dans sa forme la plus pure."
Depuis le début des manifestations, plusieurs incidents impliquant des violences entre étudiants et policiers ont été signalés.
Lors d'un incident, un policier aurait tiré une balle d'un lance-grenades utilisé pour contrôler la foule, blessant un lycéen, selon la chaîne française BFMTV.
Des enquêtes ont été ouvertes sur ces incidents, a ajouté le radiodiffuseur.
