well, technically the definition of child porn is "any pornography depicting someone under the age of 18 years old". Of course, when someone says cp, it is usually referring to the real photos and real film footage of child sexual abuse of real minors; and not just the computer-generated/fake hentai/lolicon stuff. Surprisingly, the hentai/lolicon stuff is NOT illegal where I live. In fact, people are selling physical copies of underaged hentai girl manga on Amazon at my current place of residence, meaning it is not illegal, under the assumption those images are not real; they are just fictional.
Of course, the real cp is illegal (almost) everywhere; yet it is likely being posted on certain adult porn sites (on the clearnet). Obviously, not on PornHub, but on other adult porn sites located in sketchy, Eastern European countries that have relatively little enforcement of cp laws. There are many teenager high school girls (who are under 18 years old) who look like adults, but are actually underaged......this stuff gets frequently uploaded on certain adult porn sites btw.

As a side note, it is not a good idea to download porn on a computer running a Windows OS. Watching/streaming porn on Windows is safe; downloading it is (obviously) not safe for Windows. If you want to download porn safely, use Linux instead. Downloading porn on Windows is a huge epic fail. Windows does NOT have any form of secure encryption. Linux has secure encryption software, pre-installed on it. You can encrypt your hard drive, automatically upon installing Linux; this full disk encryption is built-into Linux, simply from installing it. Installing encryption on Windows is stupid because the FBI can easily by-pass the Windows encryption.

Agree, and that's what it used to be like on the internet. I can kinda see why cp is illegal since the participants can be forced into doing something that they want to, so that's why I think it's ridiculous that they're trying to make lolicon and computer generated cp a crime. Allowing cg cp would pretty much destroy the demand for the real thing since guys could create or request anything that they wanted and get a constant stream of new stuff.

well, if all you do is watch/stream porn, then Windows is safe. If you download porn onto your computer (even if it is adult porn), then using Windows is probably not a good idea. Btw the encryption software on Windows is all backdoored. For example, Bitlocker is backdoored; if the Feds ever get a search warrant to seize your computer, they can easily by-pass the Bitlocker encryption on Windows. The encryption on Linux cannot be by-passed. It is pretty obvious saving/downloading porn on Windows 11 is not a good idea, even if the said porn is of adults over 18 years old. You should use Linux if you ever plan to download porn; the only thing Windows is good for is PC gaming, nothing else.
