Yep, it's sad. She used to be my favourite ASMRtist back in the day. I remember when I first discovered her channel in 2015 or so, and she was putting out absolute bangers week after week after week. Those are still the videos I listen to the most. We used to get 4 videos per month; now we're lucky if we get 4 videos per year.
I'm also not a fan of the way she does her audio now. If you haven't noticed, she re-records what she says after filming a video and then replaces the original audio with that. Basically like she's dubbing herself. This isn't speculation; she announced she was doing this a few years ago. And once you notice it, you can't un-notice it. It's not so bad if you're only listening to the audio, but if you're watching the video as well, it just seems off. And maybe her sound production and quality is, on paper, better than it was a decade ago. Yet her older videos, where it was just her and a camera, give me way more ASMR than her newer ones.
I thought her channel might be dead by now, but a quick look at her Patreon shows that 851 people are giving her money every month, as of writing this post.
