The real Auschwitz death camp

Zgoda (or Swietochlowice) camp was opened in February 1945 for enemies of the Soviet Union in the former German province of Silesia in Poland. It was installed on the site of a former sub-camp of Auschwitz, where Jews had been forced to work for the German war effort.

On March 15, 1945, Colonel Salomon Morel, aged 26 and without proper training , became the camp commander. The cruel communist is pictured below .

Around 6,000 people were imprisoned in the Zgoda camp, a third of them Germans and the rest Poles and other nationalities . Some families had children with them in the camp. The statistics and witness statements speak of 2 mothers with children aged 1 to 5 and perhaps 2 or 3 children aged 6 or 7, as far as we know. Most of the inmates at the camp were over 40 years old and there was a large group of people over 60 years old.

The detainees were systematically mistreated and tortured by guards, most of whom were Jewish , including by Morel himself . They liked to make pyramids of beaten prisoners up to six stories high, causing suffocation .

At night, guards would go to the women’s barracks, select half a dozen women, take them to their quarters outside the barbed wire , and gang rape them.

One of the cruelest punishments was a bunker where inmates had to stand in cold water, higher than their heads.

A typhus epidemic soon broke out in the camp, but no medical aid was offered to the prisoners and no action was taken until the epidemic spread throughout the camp . . According to some estimates, the number of victims during the typhus epidemic was from sixty to more than one hundred people per day . The bodies of the dead were piled on carts at night and taken outside the camp to hastily dug mass graves . Morel did not inform his superiors of the typhus epidemic before local newspapers reported the situation.

There are only 1,583 death certificates of prisoners in the Morel camp, but the Jewish commander did not report all the deaths .

The crimes committed at the camp are recognized by international law as crimes against humanity. When Polish authorities began investigating after the fall of communism in 1992, Morel took the first plane he could get to Tel Aviv. It is shown again in the photo above.

He was later wanted by Polish authorities for war crimes and crimes against humanity . Poland requested his extradition twice, but this was refused .

Salomon Morel (15 November 1919 – 14 February 2007) was a Communist Polish Jew and commander of concentration camps run by the Soviet NKVD and Polish communist authorities. After the fall of Communism, he was investigated for war crimes and crimes against humanity, mass murder of prisoners. In 1996, Morel was indicted by Poland on charges of torture, war crimes, crimes against humanity and communist crimes.

Rodney King riot was the worst. There was that poor guy who got his head smashed in with bricks and he hugged the perp's mothers during the trial, which says a lot about his character.
