>>They all assume it's literal magic and saying the words will grant them passage into heaven
>Underrated. The older I get, the more I see that they actually believe that everything gets done by magic. Even down to the simple things like putting their dishes away. Someone has always been there to do it for them (a customer service employee, waiter, the little wife for the potbellied fucks, etc…..). I can only imagine that back in their adolesnes that mommy did everything for them, their jobs were handed to them, money was showered on their lives for minimal work, not a finger lifted…..it's obvious.
It's true, in my family anytime the men tried washing a dish or cooking, their woman would take over, or tell them their doing it wrong, then do it for them, to the point alot of the men were never allowed, and never did laundry because it was seen as this (Simple task) their woman could do, and then brag about it to the cheers of all the other boomers about how well creased every bedsheet is.
Then you have the child labor meme where the children of boomers, having grown up living that shit, and being forced to """Help""" with all the make-work, and the idea of forcing you to always be doing something, and always be cleaning and dusting and washing, when they try that shit on their kids in current year, it doesnt fly because labor saving devices.
Also they master cooking 6-8 meals, and then have no cooking skills outside of that, and will never cook anything else, but those are delicious meals, they just wont ever try cooking anything, and if you by god force them, or cook for them they will always complain about every little thing, and spend like 5mins talking about how it sucks, just so that you never try cooking, and are dependant on them, and its something they can hold over you as being better than,
Same with shooting, they arent going to teach or show you, because you COULD be, better than them, and their seen among their friend froup as "The best
