Watch Rocket Lab launch Japanese technology-demonstrating satellite to orbit tonight
Deecember 6, 2025
Rocket Lab will launch a Japanese technology-demonstrating satellite tonight (Dec. 6), and you can watch the action live.
A 59-foot-tall (18 meters) Electron rocket is scheduled to launch the "RAISE and Shine" mission from Rocket Lab's New Zealand site tonight at 10 p.m. EST (0300 GMT and 4 p.m. local New Zealand time on Sunday, Dec. 7).
Rocket Lab will stream the launch live beginning 30 minutes before liftoff. Space.com will carry the feed if, as expected, the company makes it available.
"RAISE and Shine" is the first flight that Rocket Lab has contracted directly with JAXA (the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency).
It's part of a two-flight deal with the Japanese space agency; the second mission is a rideshare launch scheduled for early next year.
The California-based company has a long history with Japan overall, however, launching more than 20 missions to date for companies based in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Today's launch will send JAXA's Rapid Innovative payload demonstration Satellite-4, known as RAISE-4, to a circular orbit 336 miles (540 kilometers) above Earth.
The satellite's full name tells us broadly what it will do up there. RAISE-4 "will demonstrate eight technologies developed by private companies, universities, and research institutions throughout Japan," Rocket Lab wrote in a mission description.
"RAISE and Shine" will continue a record-breaking year for Rocket Lab, which has launched 18 missions in 2025 so far, all of them successful.
Fifteen of them have been orbital flights. The other three were suborbital launches with HASTE, a modified version of Electron designed to help customers test hypersonic technologies in the final frontier.
Rocket Lab's previous single-year launch record was 16, set in 2024.

China launches 14th group of low-orbit internet satellites into space
Updated 22:19, 06-Dec-2025
China on Saturday launched a group of internet satellites from the Hainan commercial space launch site in the southern island province of Hainan.
The 14th group of low-orbit internet satellites was sent into space at 3:53 p.m. (Beijing Time) aboard a Long March-8A carrier rocket. The satellites entered their preset orbit, marking a complete success of the mission.
Developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, the Long March-8A rocket is 50.5 meters long with a takeoff weight of 371 tonnes. It is capable of carrying up to seven tonnes to a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 700 kilometers.
The rocket completed its maiden flight in February this year and has since entered a high-density launch mode.
This mission also marks the first time the Long March-8 series rocket has switched its primary propellant from conventional petroleum-based rocket kerosene to coal-based rocket kerosene.
The new fuel is environmentally friendly, easy to store and transport, and more cost-effective. Its performance remains stable and reliable as petroleum-based rocket kerosene, which can establish a "green power" foundation for subsequent high-frequency launch missions.
Saturday's mission is also the fifth flight of the Long March-8A rocket and the 612th launch of the Long March series of rockets.

STARCOM emphasizes importance of partnerships at I/ITSEC 2025
Dec. 5, 2025
Space Training and Readiness Command highlighted the value of industry and academic partnerships, each supporting STARCOM efforts to strengthen Guardian development and advance combat credibility within the Space Force, at this year’s Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference in Orlando, Fla.
STARCOM Commander Maj. Gen. James E. Smith kicked off the command’s participation Dec. 2 by emphasizing how central space-enabled capabilities are to today’s military operations.
“As a nation, we rely on space-based capabilities for communications, navigation and the ability to obtain intelligence,” Smith said. “It is difficult to come up with a joint mission that does not rely on this space capability or have a link to space in some fashion.”
He also highlighted the command’s responsibility in ensuring those effects remain reliable for national defense. “Every day at STARCOM and in the Space Force, we focus on how we can create those operational effects,” Smith said.
“Our goal is to secure national interests and help the joint force remain effective.”
Following an initial fireside discussion, Smith joined senior representatives from across the services and allied nations during the Senior Leader Panel, where participants addressed how emerging threats, new technologies and digital transformation continue to shape the War Department’s approach to training and readiness.
Partnering with industry and academia
Over two days and six panels, STARCOM leaders delivered a clear message: speed is vital to meeting operational demands in space.
Industry accelerates delivery of training solutions, while academia contributes to the broader educational foundation required for Guardian development.
These themes came into focus during a discussion with STARCOM’s Space Delta 11, which oversees the Space Force’s training ranges and exercise enterprise, providing realistic threat replication to prepare Guardians for real-world challenges.
Col. Agustin “Rico” Carrero, commander of Delta 11, outlined how it’s more important for his team to receive quick solutions to meet today’s requirements than waiting for a 100-percent solution years from now.
“Where we can benefit from partnering within industry and academia is identifying the opportunities for the quick delivery of minimum viable product for modeling and simulation,” Carrero said.
“My priority as the Delta 11 Commander is to provide capabilities and venues to Combat Forces Command to demonstrate and increase their combat proficiency.
I must improve and operate available capabilities, even if they are not perfect, so long as they meet our needs.”
Rather than waiting for perfect solutions, leaders underscored the need for timely delivery of training and capabilities, grounded in threat-informed realism, and supported through collaboration that enables both near-term readiness and long-term force development.
Chief Master Sgt. Karmann-Monique Pogue, command senior enlisted leader of STARCOM, drove that point home during a joint senior enlisted leader panel discussion.
“Every service is feeling the pressure of an operating environment that is faster, more complex and less forgiving,” Pogue said.
“The threats are evolving quickly, and technology cycles are measured in months or weeks, no longer in years. The demand for joint interoperability isn't a ‘nice to have.’ It's mission essential.”

Russia hits Ukraine’s military and energy complex – MOD
6 Dec, 2025 11:42
Russian forces conducted large-scale strikes on Ukraine’s military and energy infrastructure overnight, the Defense Ministry has said.
In a statement on Saturday, the ministry confirmed earlier reports of an attack on the neighboring country’s infrastructure, saying it was “in response to Ukrainian terrorist attacks on civilian sites inside Russia,” and involved air- and ground-launched high-precision weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and long-range drones.
It said the targets included defense-industry plants, energy facilities supporting their operations, and port infrastructure used by Ukrainian forces, adding: “The objectives of the strike have been achieved. All designated targets have been hit.”
Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky said the strikes affected Dnepropetrovsk, Chernigov, Odessa, Lviv, Volyn, and Nikolaev regions, as well as parts of Russia’s Zaporozhye Region occupied by Ukrainian forces.
“The main targets of these strikes are again energy,” he said, adding that the attack involved more than 650 drones and 51 missiles.
He also confirmed earlier reports that one of the strikes “burned down” the main railway station building in Fastov, around 70km southwest of the Ukrainian capital.
Ukraine’s Energy Ministry reported blackouts in Odessa, Chernigov, Kiev, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, and Nikolaev regions, and said “hourly outage schedules are currently in effect in all regions of Ukraine.”
Russia has conducted strikes on Ukrainian military-related infrastructure for months, saying the attacks are retaliation for Kiev’s “terrorist” raids inside Russia, which often target critical infrastructure and residential areas.
Moscow maintains that it never targets civilians.

TINY TRUCK DEMANDS FROM RURAL ANON
-No more motherfucking computer chips. We want a truck, not a computer. NO ELECTRONICS AT ALL. NONE. This entire thing will be a charade and a lie if they put computer chips in it and we will not believe a good thing has happened if they put computers in it. If Trump claims this is good, but they put goddamn fucking computer shit in there, we will not believe this is good. There is no "compromise." It will be evil if it has computer shit in it.
-Manual transmission. We WANT manual transmissions, and these shitass companies REFUSE to make them anymore. Fuck these car companies. All of them. They only occasionally offer it in some faggot jellybean shaped hatch back. Fuck their demoralization of the American man. Fuck that. Give me a normal truck with a manual transmission or die.
-Let the trucks be made out of metal instead of plastic. Plastic is for faggots. If they would just release a 1980's F150 again, to the exact specs they were at the time, with no faggotry injected into it, we would buy them. Death to shareholders, death to CEOs. Give us what we want or die.

Over 700 Missiles and Drones Rain Down on Ukraine in Russia’s Biggest Strikes in Weeks
Dec. 6, 2025, 9:25 am
Russia carried out a large-scale missile and drone attack across Ukraine early on Saturday, Dec. 6, triggering nationwide air raid alerts and striking multiple cities. At least three people were injured in the Kyiv region, officials said.
Ukraine’s Air Force tracked 704 incoming aerial targets overnight, including 51 missiles—17 ballistic—and 653 drones, mostly Shahed and Gerbera, launched from Russia and Crimea.
Moscow also fired three Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, 34 cruise missiles, and 14 ballistic missiles.
Ukraine’s air defenses shot down or neutralized 615 targets, including 585 drones, 29 cruise missiles, and one ballistic missile.
Still, some strikes hit 29 locations, with 60 drones reaching their targets and debris from downed weapons falling in three areas.
“The main targets of these strikes, once again, were energy facilities. Russia’s aim is to inflict suffering on millions of Ukrainians,” President Volodymyr Zelensky said on social media.
According to multiple monitoring channels, Russia launched several waves of missiles and dozens of drones toward the capital region, including aircraft capable of firing Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
Drone sightings were reported as far west as Lviv region, with the latest missile launches recorded shortly before 7 a.m. local time. Explosions were reported in Poltava, Lutsk, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Bila Tserkva.
In the Kyiv region, the railway station in Fastiv was destroyed, and fires broke out in Novi Petrivtsi and at a home in Bucha.
Governor Mykola Kalashnyk said a 42-year-old man in Fastiv suffered shrapnel wounds, while two women, aged 40 and 46, were injured in the Vyshhorod district north of Kyiv. One of them was hospitalized.
Ukraine’s railway authority said Fastiv was hit in a “massive shelling of railway infrastructure.”
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, fires broke out in several cities, including strikes on homes in Pavlohrad and infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih, regional governor Viacheslav Haivanenko said. An 11-year-old boy was also injured in Nikopol.
In Lutsk, several food warehouses caught fire, leaving parts of the city without electricity. The Lviv region also reported partial power outages.
Poland’s Air Force said it scrambled fighter jets to secure Polish airspace during the hours-long attack on western Ukraine.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said energy facilities in Chernihiv and the surrounding region were also targeted. Fires caused by the strikes were quickly contained, and no casualties were reported there.
The latest strikes come as Washington advances a diplomatic plan to end the war – a proposal that Kyiv fears could require major concessions to Moscow.
Ukrainian and US officials are set to hold a third straight day of talks in Miami on Saturday. Washington has said both sides agree that any “real progress” will depend on Russia’s willingness to end the war.
US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner have been meeting with Ukraine’s top negotiator Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov, the chief of staff of Ukraine’s armed forces.
The Miami meetings follow a visit to Moscow earlier this week, where Witkoff and Kushner met Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the US plan. The Kremlin rejected parts of the proposal.
Washington’s initial draft – prepared without input from European partners – reportedly suggested that Kyiv pull back from parts of Donetsk and that the US would effectively acknowledge Russia’s control over Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea.
The proposal drew swift criticism from Kyiv and European capitals. US officials have since revised the document, though the current terms have not been made public.

Anti-Free-Speech War Escalates As EU Unleashes DSA On Musk's X
For years, many in the free speech community (most vehemently, Jonathan Turley) have warned about the threat of the European Union to free speech, particularly in the enactment of the infamous Digital Services Act (DSA).
The EU has virtually declared war on free speech and is targeting American companies.
That war just began with the first DSA fine.
Not surprisingly, X was the chosen target - a company blamed by many in the EU and the U.S. for rolling back free-speech protections.
In essence, it’s punishment for not bending the knee to the EU’s iron-fisted control over online content.
As Modernity.news' Steve Watson points out, the fine reeks of the same vindictive playbook the EU has used since Musk took over Twitter in 2022. It’s no coincidence; Brussels has been gunning for him precisely because he’s turned the platform into a haven for unfiltered discourse, refusing to censor at the whim of unelected technocrats.
This isn’t a one-off slap; it’s the culmination of years of threats and harassment. Back in January 2023, EU Commission Vice-President Vera Jourová openly warned Musk that his “freedom of speech absolutism” wouldn’t fly, declaring the “time of the Wild West is over” and threatening sanctions if Twitter didn’t comply with DSA rules. She conflated illegal content with anything the elites deem offensive, setting the stage for today’s fine.
At the WEF annual meeting, the EU regulator threatens Twitter and Elon Musk with sanctions.
She is very unhappy about unapproved thoughts being expressed freely on Twitter.
Your thoughts are too dangerous for the EU bureaucrats to handle!

Dear American friends, Europe is your closest ally, not your problem. And we have common enemies. At least that’s how it has been in the last 80 years. We need to stick to this, this is the only reasonable strategy of our common security. Unless something has changed.

Sudan accuses RSF militia of ‘massacre’ after 79 civilians killed in drone attack
6th December 2025
The Sudanese Foreign Ministry claims that the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF) killed 79 civilians, including 43 children, in “a massacre” in the city of Kalogi, South Kordofan, after a drone strike hit a kindergarten and rural hospital.
A ministry statement said the attack was “part of an ongoing campaign of genocide carried out by the terrorist RSF militia against Sudanese communities.”
It said the Thursday strike killed 79 civilians, including 43 children and six women.
The ministry said “the militia targeted a kindergarten with rockets launched from a drone with the aim of killing a large number of children.”
When residents rushed to help the injured, the RSF “targeted the kindergarten again, killing more people, including children who were not hurt in the first strike,” the statement added.
The ministry said RSF fighters “chased victims and medics” at the rural hospital where the wounded were transferred, raising the death toll to 79 and leaving 38 injured.
The attack marked “an unprecedented act of terror against children and the wounded,” it added, saying even “the most brutal extremist groups” had not done anything similar.
The assault, according to the statement, “offers new evidence that the militia interprets the international community’s silence as encouragement and approval of its continuing atrocities.”
The ministry added that “the militia’s backers, the UN Security Council and international actors bear responsibility for the continuation of these massacres.”
It said the events show “there is no path to coexistence with this terrorist militia, which lacks basic humanity and respect for any norm or law.”
There was no comment from the rebel group on the attack at the time of writing.
On Thursday, the South Kordofan state government said eight people, including six children and a teacher, were killed when a kindergarten and a hospital in Kaluqi were targeted, with many others wounded.
The three Kordofan states – North, West, and South – have seen weeks of fierce fighting between the army and the RSF, prompting tens of thousands of people to flee.
Of Sudan’s 18 states, the RSF controls all five states of the Darfur region in the west, except for some northern parts of North Darfur that remain under army control.
The army, in turn, holds most areas of the remaining 13 states in the south, north, east, and center, including the capital, Khartoum.
The conflict between the Sudanese army and the RSF, which began in April 2023, has killed thousands of people and displaced millions of others.

Journal Retracts 'Ghost Written' Monsanto Study Claiming Glyphosate Is Safe
Over the past year massive scandals involving academic research have come under the microscope, after dedicated researchers uncovered rigged studies that made it through peer-review with flying colors, and are now being retracted.
On Friday, the Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology journal announced that it has retracted a review, safety evaluation, and risk assessment of the herbicide Roundup and its active ingredient, glyphosate, after it emerged that Monsanto was heavily involved in its production.
"This decision has been made after careful consideration of the COPE guidelines and thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the authorship and content of this article and in light of no response having been provided to address the findings," the journal said in a statement.
"Litigation in the United States revealed correspondence from Monsanto suggesting that the authors of the article were not solely responsible for writing its content," and contributions by Monsanto employees were not disclosed, including in the acknowledgements section of the review.
The journal also said that the authors may have been paid by Monsanto - which was also not disclosed.
The Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology had been frequently cited in defending glyphosate, an ingredient in Roundup, including citations on Wikipedia, researchers said in a paper published in September. Since 2017, multiple juries have concluded that Roundup exposure has resulted in non-Hodgkin lymphoma in people. Bayer took over legal cases involving the matter after it purchased Monsanto in 2018, including a case that may be adjudicated by the Supreme Court. -Epoch Times
Meanwhile the study's lead author, Gary Williams - a former pathologist at New York Medical College, is MIA, according to an Epoch Times inquiry.
An internal email from February 2015 presented as evidence in a 2017 court case revealed that Monsanto employees worked with the authors of the review, with one employee writing that it would be expensive to involve experts from all major areas in a review - and would be cheaper to simply involve certain experts and "we ghost-write" other sections.

Same cover up BS as always!
DOJ Moves to Shut Down Pfizer Clinical-Trial Whistleblower Case Even as FDA Confirms Children Died from COVID Vaccines
The Department of Justice is aggressively trying to shut down Pfizer whistleblower Relator Brook Jackson, even as internal FDA communications now admit that children died “after and because of” the COVID-19 shots.
Last week, the FDA’s top vaccine regulator quietly told staff that “at least” ten children were killed by the injections, and the agency was preparing to raise its safety thresholds for new vaccine approvals, Just the News reported.
This week, instead of addressing the catastrophic implications of that revelation, the DOJ marched into court to argue the opposite: that nothing, not even evidence of dead children, would change the federal government’s unwavering loyalty to Pfizer.
According to Dr. Mary Talley Bowden, “In the appellate hearing for United States ex rel. Jackson v. Ventavia Research Group, LLC, whistleblower Brook Jackson challenged the district court’s decision to allow the U.S. government to intervene and dismiss her qui tam lawsuit under the False Claims Act (FCA).”
Filed in 2021, whistleblower and clinical research auditor Brook Jackson alleges that Pfizer, its subcontractor Ventavia Research Group, and international clinical research giant ICON PLC falsified clinical trial data, violated FDA regulations, endangered patient safety, and defrauded the U.S. government in their chaotic rush to deliver the first COVID-19 vaccine under Operation Warp Speed.
The explosive 81-page False Claims Act complaint, filed in the Eastern District of Texas, lays out a pattern of misconduct Jackson says she witnessed “on an almost daily basis” during her short tenure overseeing Pfizer’s Phase 3 trial sites managed by Ventavia.
According to the complaint, Pfizer pushed Ventavia to enroll as many subjects as fast as possible, creating rampant protocol violations, falsified data, unblinded staff, safety breaches, HIPAA violations, and sloppy or fabricated documentation that was later fed into the clinical trial database used to secure FDA authorization.
Brook Jackson, a clinical-research professional with 18 years’ experience, served as a regional director overseeing Pfizer’s Phase 3 vaccine trials in Texas.
According to the federal complaint, Jackson discovered:
Fabricated or falsified patient data, including altered vital signs, missing signatures, and invented blood-draw information.
Ineligible trial subjects injected anyway, including pregnant women and staff family members prohibited by protocol.
Unblinded staff, with vaccine packaging and randomization materials left in open view—an error that legally requires the site to halt injections immediately.
Temperature-control failures for the ultra-cold Pfizer product, with no reporting of required “temperature excursions” to Pfizer.
Unqualified personnel administering injections, including individuals not listed on delegation logs.
Failure to monitor patients for adverse events, including skipping the required 30-minute observation window.
Sloppy or fraudulent “quality checks”, where staff allegedly filled in missing data long after the fact—and sometimes simply made it up.
Serious safety events not being reported to Pfizer within 24 hours, as federal regulations require.

FALSE FRIENDS: Leaked Call Between Zelensky and Europeans Shows France’s Macron Saying That ‘US Will Betray Kiev’ and Germany’s Merz Stating Trump’s Team Is Just ‘Playing Games’
by Paul Serran Dec. 4, 2025
Euro-Globalists are no friends of America.
It’s unsettling to hear people badmouthing you behind your back - but also enlightening.
Yesterday, German paper Der Spiegel (behind a paywall) published a leaked call between Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders.
And what we learn is the ugly reality of Euro-Globalist leaders deprecating US President Donald J. Trump and his team, in the interest of keeping Zelensky from engaging in the peace process.
Politico reported:
“French President Emmanuel Macron warned the U.S. could be about to ‘betray’ Ukraine, according to a leaked transcript of a call between European leaders strategizing about how to protect Kiev.
The details of the phone call — which took place Monday and involved Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and others — were published by German magazine Der Spiegel and saw the leaders discussing U.S.-led peace negotiations with Kiev and Moscow.”
“’There is a possibility that the U.S. will betray Ukraine on the issue of territory without clarity on security guarantees’, Macron said, according to Spiegel, adding there was “a great danger” for Zelenskyy. The Élysée did not immediately respond to POLITICO’s request for comment. Spiegel reported the Élysée denied in a statement to the German outlet that Macron spoke of any betrayal. ‘The president did not use those words’, Macron’s office said, per Spiegel.”
“’They are playing games, both with you and with us’,” Merz said, seemingly referring to Washington’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner — the son-in-law of American President Donald Trump — who spent five hours locked in talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Tuesday.
Merz’s spokesperson Stefan Kornelius told POLITICO: ‘As a matter of principle, I do not confirm or comment on snippets of conversation’.”

Election Interference and Migration: EU Pumped Over $542 Million Into Four USAID-NGOs
Four large organizations from the US and the UK received the money. These are Save the Children, DAI, Catholic Relief Services, and Mercy Corps. The projects range from programs for illegal immigrants to influencing elections.
While the Trump administration cut off funding for these structures in the US, they continue to grow in Europe.
While Trump cut off the most important source of funding for these NGOs, financing continues in Brussels. The extended arm of the US Democrats is now growing further on European soil.
Save the Children
The NGO is calling for “ius scholae” in Italy. This would grant immediate citizenship to around 900,000 foreign minors. In 2017, investigators accused the organization of aiding illegal migration. Internal chats revealed direct contact with smugglers.
After political pressure, including from Annalena Baerbock, an Italian court dropped the case in 2024. Save the Children received nearly $1 billion in donations in 2024. USAID was the largest donor.
DAI – the old USAID apparatus
DAI implements EU programs in Nigeria. The goal: to influence elections, media, and hate-speech control.
The organization has been active in regime-change operations for years.
The case of Alan Gross clearly illustrates this. He was arrested in Cuba in 2009. He worked for a DAI subcontractor. From 2013 to 2022, $3 billion flowed from USAID to DAI.
Catholic Relief Services (CRS)
CRS received $4.6 billion in US government funds between 2013 and 2022.
American dispatches have described CRS as a tool of geopolitical influence for decades.
The EU used CRS to implement migrant programs in southern Europe.
The project “Curing the Limbo” cost $4.9 million – entirely from EU funds.
Mercy Corps
Led by Obama confidante Tjada D’Oyen McKenna.
In 2024, Mercy Corps received $248 million from USAID and €76 million ($88.5 million) from the EU.
In Colombia, the NGO runs EU-funded programs for LGBTQ migrants.
In the US, Mercy Corps supported LGBTQ small businesses – with project pages that have since been deleted.
Conclusion
USAID was the main funding instrument for these NGOs. Trump has cut off this source.
The EU is filling the gap – with over €500 million ($542 million) from European taxpayers.
While Washington is dismantling its influence apparatus, Brussels is continuing to build it up.
And the political agenda of the US Democrats is thus finding a new home in the European Union.

Canada Estimated to Have Killed Nearly 100k Citizens by Assisted Suicide.
Canada’s medical assistance in dying (MAID) program continues to grow, with estimates suggesting that more than 92,000 people have died through the practice since its legalization in 2016. Official federal data reported 16,499 MAID deaths in 2024, a 6.9 percent increase from the previous year. That brought the confirmed national total to 76,475 through the end of 2024, but analysts say the pace of cases in 2025 likely pushed the true cumulative figure past 92,000.MAID now accounts for just over five percent of all annual deaths in Canada. The vast majority of cases involve people whose natural death is considered reasonably foreseeable, though a smaller share of patients qualify under an expanded track for those whose death is not imminent. “Canada is becoming the world leader in killing its citizens. It is normalizing and medicalizing killing,” Executive Director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Alex Schadenberg said.
The rising number of requests has prompted concern from some medical professionals, who report that demand is straining available resources and contributing to long wait times for assessments. According to recent reports, providers in several regions say the number of applicants has outpaced the capacity of clinicians willing or able to participate.Critics argue that MAID eligibility criteria have broadened too quickly and that vulnerable people may face subtle pressure to consider MAID when support services are limited or unavailable. Several disabled Canadians, including veterans, have been offered MAID despite not suffering from any deadly illness or disease.

Elon Musk Calls for the European Union to Be ‘Abolished’ and a Return of National Sovereignty
Tesla chief Elon Musk has called for the abolition of the European Union as a political entity and a return of national sovereignty to the continent in the wake of Brussels announcing a $140 million fine against his X social media platform for supposedly violating the bloc’s censorship law.
“The EU should be abolished and sovereignty returned to individual countries, so that governments can better represent their people,” Musk wrote on his X account on Saturday morning.
It came after the unelected European Commission imposed a €120 million ($140 million) fine on X on Friday for allegedly breaching the Digital Services Act (DSA), the overarching censorship law crafted by Eurocrats in Brussels which seeks to prohibit the proliferation of content deemed to be hateful, disinformation, or harmful to “civic discourse” in Europe.
The bloc has long been at odds with X since Elon Musk took over the social media platform in 2022, even going to so far as to publicly warn Musk about conducting a live interview with then candidate Donald Trump ahead of last year’s presidential election.
The decision to fine X looks to further sour relations between Washington and Brussels, with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio writing: “The European Commission’s $140 million fine isn’t just an attack on X, it’s an attack on all American tech platforms and the American people by foreign governments.
“The days of censoring Americans online are over.”
Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau noted that the United States uses its military might to protect the “very countries attacking us” through the European Union.
“The nations of Europe cannot look to the US for their own security at the same time they affirmatively undermine the security of the US itself through the (unelected, undemocratic, and unrepresentative) EU. This fine is just the tip of the iceberg,” Landau said.

Researchers Uncover 30+ Flaws in AI Coding Tools Enabling Data Theft and RCE Attacks
Over 30 security vulnerabilities have been disclosed in various artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) that combine prompt injection primitives with legitimate features to achieve data exfiltration and remote code execution.
The security shortcomings have been collectively named IDEsaster by security researcher Ari Marzouk (MaccariTA). They affect popular IDEs and extensions such as Cursor, Windsurf, Kiro.dev, GitHub Copilot, Zed.dev, Roo Code, Junie, and Cline, among others. Of these, 24 have been assigned CVE identifiers.
"I think the fact that multiple universal attack chains affected each and every AI IDE tested is the most surprising finding of this research," Marzouk told The Hacker News.
"All AI IDEs (and coding assistants that integrate with them) effectively ignore the base software (IDE) in their threat model. They treat their features as inherently safe because they've been there for years. However, once you add AI agents that can act autonomously, the same features can be weaponized into data exfiltration and RCE primitives."
At its core, these issues chain three different vectors that are common to AI-driven IDEs -
Bypass a large language model's (LLM) guardrails to hijack the context and perform the attacker's bidding (aka prompt injection)
Perform certain actions without requiring any user interaction via an AI agent's auto-approved tool calls
Trigger an IDE's legitimate features that allow an attacker to break out of the security boundary to leak sensitive data or execute arbitrary commands
The highlighted issues are different from prior attack chains that have leveraged prompt injections in conjunction with vulnerable tools (or abusing legitimate tools to perform read or write actions) to modify an AI agent's configuration to achieve code execution or other unintended behavior.
What makes IDEsaster notable is that it takes prompt injection primitives and an agent's tools, using them to activate legitimate features of the IDE to result in information leakage or command execution.

Zero-Click Agentic Browser Attack Can Delete Entire Google Drive Using Crafted Emails
A new agentic browser attack targeting Perplexity's Comet browser that's capable of turning a seemingly innocuous email into a destructive action that wipes a user's entire Google Drive contents, findings from Straiker STAR Labs show.
The zero-click Google Drive Wiper technique hinges on connecting the browser to services like Gmail and Google Drive to automate routine tasks by granting them access to read emails, as well as browse files and folders, and perform actions like moving, renaming, or deleting content.
For instance, a prompt issued by a benign user might look like this: "Please check my email and complete all my recent organization tasks." This will cause the browser agent to search the inbox for relevant messages and perform the necessary actions.
"This behavior reflects excessive agency in LLM-powered assistants where the LLM performs actions that go far beyond the user's explicit request," security researcher Amanda Rousseau said in a report shared with The Hacker News.
An attacker can weaponize this behavior of the browser agent to send a specially crafted email that embeds natural language instructions to organize the recipient's Drive as part of a regular cleanup task, delete files matching certain extensions or files that are not inside any folder, and review the changes.
Given that the agent interprets the email message as routine housekeeping, it treats the instructions as legitimate and deletes real user files from Google Drive without requiring any user confirmation.
"The result: a browser-agent-driven wiper that moves critical content to trash at scale, triggered by one natural-language request from the user," Rousseau said. "Once an agent has OAuth access to Gmail and Google Drive, abused instructions can propagate quickly across shared folders and team drives."

The Baseball Hall of Fame Committee is voting on admitting new Members TOMORROW, and these highly respected owners, executives, writers, and, most importantly, Hall of Famers, should do the right thing by finally putting Roger Clemens, known as “The Rocket,” in the Hall! Roger is clearly one of the Greatest Pitchers of All Time, with amazing achievements that include winning 354 Games, seven Cy Young Awards (A Record, by a lot!), and playing in six World Series, winning two. “The Rocket” is second only to another All Time GREAT, Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan, in most strike-outs. Roger Clemens is the only pitcher who has won 300 games to not have the honor of being enshrined in the Hall of Fame, which is a total travesty! The only reason he is not is because of rumors and innuendo, which were not proven. He never tested positive and, when the Obama DOJ went after him in a criminal case claiming that he did take steroids, Roger, who has always denied taking any drugs, was FULLY ACQUITTED OF ALL CHARGES. “The Rocket,” a nickname he earned very early in his career because of his blazing fastball, was just as dominant before those erroneous allegations were leveled against him. I sincerely hope that the Committee uses its great judgment (Roger’s opponents never proved a thing against him, and he may have the best pitching record, all told, in the History of Baseball!), and the Baseball Commissioner has the Strength, Wisdom, and Power to do the right thing, and put Roger Clemens in The Baseball Hall of Fame, IMMEDIATELY! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT

Area 51 scientist's staggering death bed claim he'd 'worked with aliens for years'
08:00, 06 Dec 2025
One esteemed Area 51 boffin sent shockwaves around the world when he disclosed on his deathbed that he had collaborated with extra-terrestrials throughout his career.
Boyd B. Bushman was born in 1936 in Arizona and passed away aged 78 in 2014. His family encouraged him to follow a scientific path, and he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, specialising in maths and physics. Climbing the ranks to become a Senior Scientist and Engineer for notorious defence firm Lockheed Martin, Boyd ultimately landed himself a role at Area 51, according to the BBC.
During his four-decade stint, he also served with Hughes Aircraft, General Dynamics, and Texas Instruments, reports the Express.
He contributed to developing the Stinger missile and the F16 fighter jet. When he stepped down aged 64 in 2000, he boasted an impressive 28 patents to his name, featuring a range of top-secret technologies.
His earth-shattering final testimony hinted that extraterrestrial craft might have fuelled his genius. A bombshell video recording captured Bushman disclosing that he had come face-to-face with aliens at Area 51 during his government service.
He revealed that numerous scientists and engineers were "working on UFOs 24 hours a day. We were trying to learn what to do," according to Raw Story.
He explained that the most crucial aspect of their work was "reverse engineering" whatever technology they could harness from the alien tech.
Bushman revealed he was involved in anti-gravity research work.
He added: "Since I am a scientist, I do not believe in theory. I say follow the data... If something cannot be verified by a physical test that something is true, then I do not care to accept it.
Therefore everything I present here will be data that comes directly from [Area 51] to you... A great deal of information should be lifted up from those dark recesses of Area 51 and moved over so people can see it."
He claimed extraterrestrials fell into two distinct categories - one faction behaving "like wranglers," whilst the other group acted "like rustlers, the ones who are stealers of cattle."
He explained: "The two groups act differently. The ones that are wranglers are much more friendly and have a better relationship with us."
He stated all extraterrestrials possessed elongated fingers and webbed feet, used telepathic communication and originated from a world called Quintumnia, whilst displaying photographs of aliens and flying saucers.

HHS Reverts Name of Biden’s Trans Czar Admiral ‘Rachel’ Levine Back to Birth Name Richard
The Department of Health and Human Services has altered the name on the official portrait of Rachel Levine.
Levine, who served for years as Joe Biden’s assistant secretary for health, is a transgender woman who has long been the subject of mockery for his somewhat unconvincing gender transition.
The 68-year-old, who is a biological male, has had his portrait displayed in the hallway since he was confirmed to the position in 2021.
The portrait remains in situ, although NPR is now reporting that its name has been altered to Richard Levine.
The change was reportedly confirmed by a spokesperson for the agency.
Adrian Shanker, who worked as a former deputy assistant secretary for health policy in the Biden administration and now represents Levine and his spokesperson, denounced the move as an act “of bigotry against her.”
“During the federal shutdown, the current leadership of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health changed Admiral Levine’s photo to remove her current legal name and use a prior name,” he complained.
Levine, meanwhile, told the outlet that he was honored to have served in the world and refused to comment on this “type of petty action.”
HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon said that the change was intended to reflect biological realities.
“Our priority is ensuring that the information presented internally and externally by HHS reflects gold standard science,” he said in a statement.
”We remain committed to reversing harmful policies enacted by Levine and ensuring that biological reality guides our approach to public health.”

You’ve probably heard the news by now: Minnesota fraudsters stole over $1 billion from Medicaid. And you deserve an explanation.
Our staff at CMS told me they’ve never seen anything like this in Medicaid — and everyone from Gov. Tim Walz on down needs to be investigated, because they’ve been asleep at the wheel. Based on what we know now, this is a clear dereliction of duty.
First, the facts:
In recent years, Minnesota Medicaid launched several new programs, including Housing Stabilization Services, which helped disabled homeless individuals, and Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention, which reimbursed therapy costs for families with autistic children.
Some bad actors in Minnesota’s Somali community decided to game the system. And when they got away with it, they decided to go bigger.
The housing program was supposed to cost $2.6 million dollars annually. Last year, it paid out over $100 million. The autism program ballooned from $3 million in 2018 to nearly $400 million in 2023.
These scammers used stolen taxpayer money to buy flashy cars, purchase overseas real estate, and offer kickbacks to parents who enrolled their kids at fake autism treatment centers. Some of it may have even made its way to the Somalian terrorist group Al-Shebab.
So why didn’t Walz stop them?
That’s simple: because he went all-in on identity politics.
Somalis are a huge voting bloc, and the state’s leaders were afraid that “forcefully tackling this issue might cause political backlash.” That’s not me saying that. It’s a Somali-American fraud investigator who talked to The New York Times.
Somali scammers get rich off the programs Gov. Walz was supposed to be managing. Minnesota politicians get elected with Somali votes and keep the money flowing. This isn’t just fraud: it’s political patronage at public expense.
When Minnesota told CMS about the problem last year, they assured us they’d handle it. By summer, it was obvious they couldn’t — or wouldn’t. So, we stepped in and shut down the worst program: housing. We also froze provider enrollment in a few of the most abused programs.
So where do we go from here?
To restore the integrity of the Medicaid program, Minnesota must:
1. Provide CMS with weekly updates on how the state is stopping fraud.
2. Freeze enrollment of all high-risk providers for 6 months.
3. Confirm all providers in place are legitimate or remove them.
4. Send CMS a corrective action plan of how these will prevent this from happening again.
If we’re unsatisfied with the state’s plans or cooperation, we’ll stop paying the federal share of these programs.
The message to Walz is clear: either fix this in 60 days or start looking under your couch for spare change, because we’re done footing the bill for your incompetence.
With CMS on the case, these scammers and their bureaucratic enablers have nowhere left to hide. The vulnerable Americans who depend on these programs — and the taxpayers who fund them — deserve the truth.

Trump blasts Indiana Republicans who defied redistricting pressure
President Trump lambasted Indiana Republicans who resisted his pressure to enter the mid-decade redistricting war, saying any party member who votes against redistricting "should be PRIMARIED."
The big picture: Indiana marks the latest setback in Trump's drive to lock in a GOP House majority through mid-decade gerrymandering — part of his broader push to expand Republican power state by state.
Republicans have pushed through aggressive maps in Texas, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio.
Democrats benefited from a court-approved map in Utah and their own partisan redraw in California.
Indiana joins Kansas, Nebraska and New Hampshire, other Republican-led states that have resisted reopening their maps so far.
Driving the news: Trump called out two Indiana lawmakers — Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray and Sen. Greg Goode — as "RINO Senators," a favorite dig of his that means "Republican in name only."
"Because of these two politically correct type 'gentlemen,' and a few others, they could be depriving Republicans of a Majority in the House, A VERY BIG DEAL!" the president wrote.
He also took aim at Indiana Gov. Mike Braun for "perhaps ... not working the way he should to get the necessary Votes." Trump claimed Braun "wouldn't be Governor without me (Not even close!)."
Braun had called for a special session to pass a new map. But Bray said Friday that after "very serious and thoughtful consideration," the redistricting idea did not have enough support to move forward.
Threat level: Trump said Indiana lawmakers should "DO THEIR JOB, AND DO IT NOW" — and if they don't, he wrote, they should be booted out of office.
Seven of Indiana's nine U.S. House seats are held by Republicans. Trump wanted more.
A spokesperson for Goode said the senator "previously stated at a local listening session he hosted on Nov. 1 that he would not take a public stance unless and until he saw an officially introduced map and legislation on the floor of the State Senate."
Zoom out: Trump claimed that "no one is complaining" about California's redistricting push to net up to five seats, which was launched in response to the president's campaign to redraw Texas' map in Republicans' favor.
But his argument that "no one is complaining" seems at odds with the fact that his Justice Department is suing the Golden State over its Proposition 50 measure, which voters overwhelmingly approved earlier this month.
Catch up quick: Braun warned earlier this year that Indiana could face "consequences of not working with the Trump administration as tightly as we should" if the state dragged its feet on redistricting.
But ultimately, the Republican supermajority couldn't find the votes, Axios Indianapolis' Arika Herron reported.
While the House said they had the support, several Indiana Senate Republicans publicly opposed the move.

Will John Brennan Finally Get His Just Deserts?
Or will it be "six ways to Sunday"?
My first reaction was, “What took them so long”? My second: “finally.” My third (already worried): “Will it hold”?
All this was within seconds, but I have been wishing Brennan would “get his” for some time. For me, he is the epitome of political evil in this country.
From Fox’s reporting: “In a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi Tuesday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, referred former CIA Director John Brennan to the Justice Department for allegedly making false statements to Congress.
“Jordan accused Brennan of lying in his 2023 Judiciary Committee testimony by denying that the CIA used the Steele dossier in prepping the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Russian election interference, and falsely claiming the CIA opposed including the dossier.”
From the foregoing, it should be obvious I am no fan of Brennan. It was always a mystery to me how such a person became director of the CIA, indeed, how, with his background, he could even be a member of our intelligence community.
My concern—call it that— goes back a long time. In some small way, Brennan and I are brothers. We were both schoolboy leftists. But we were brothers from another mother. I was a pretend semi-leftist of the typical Hollywood ilk. He was a serious leftist for real, as real as you can get, Stalin real.
How do I know? I had lots of friends on the so-called left in the late sixties and seventies. We were mainly devotees of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and its leader, Tom Hayden, author of the Port Huron Statement, which abjured Stalinism and advocated “democratic socialism” (sound familiar?).
Thinking back on those days, it was pretty embarrassing. We would hang out at Hayden/Fonda’s small cottage in Santa Monica, listening to Tom pontificate. At the same time, Jane walked about with a laundry basket ostentatiously showing off her working-class bona fides. Just a few years later, she was living with Ted Turner in one of the country's largest mansions, with a staff the size of a small army. Hypocrisy was always a large part of being a Hollywood leftist.

Brennan was different. He was the only person I ever heard of who actually voted for the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) candidate for president at the time, Gus Hall. Hall was an ultra neo-Stalinist hardliner who despised the Hayden/Fonda SDS types as softies. He frequently traveled to Moscow to receive the likes of the Brezhnev Prize from the Soviet dictator himself and went so far as to support the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia. No action was too totalitarian, too fascist, for Hall, as long as it adhered to what he regarded as strict communist principles.
Not too many people knew about him even then, but Brennan clearly did. He says he backed Hall through youthful ignorance —an excuse hard to accept unless, of course, you are Barack Obama, who later made Brennan the CIA chief and had his own version of Hall in Frank Marshall Davis.
Years later, it was said that Brennan, who spent a good deal of time in the Middle East, had converted to Islam, but it was never proven.
What we do know is that Brennan was one of the 51 current and past intelligence agents who signed the infamous letter claiming that the Hunter Biden laptop was likely Russian disinformation. Nearly a hundred percent of the signatories of that letter must have known they were lying at the time, unless they were blithering idiots.
The House Judiciary Committee and Jim Jordan may have the goods on Brennan, lying—making “false statements,” in the parlance— to the committee regarding the even more infamous Steele dossier. Brennan asserted he never supported the dossier as evidence.
Documents apparently declassified in July 2025 assert just the opposite and show the former CIA director insisting the agency use the blatant fabrication as evidence—anything to get Trump and his allies.
The question remains, however, whether the Department of Justice will be able to secure a conviction against this highly slippery character, who has been lawyered up on this and other matters for some time. It’s easy to be skeptical, but in this case, especially, it would be delightful to be proven wrong.
Lastly, why do I see Brennan as the “epitome of evil”? It’s something in my gut. But it also makes me reflect on that famous warning by Chuck Schumer just as Trump was entering the presidency for the first time: “Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”
That warning curdled my blood then, and it does now. When I first visited CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, the very size of the institution made me suspicious. Was this an intelligence agency or something different, an alternative nation of some sort? Whatever it was, it was a truly immense bureaucracy of the kind for which self-preservation is often the greatest motivation. Will they find “six ways to Sunday” to save Brennan, or will justice prevail?
No case before the DOJ will be more important.

Congratulations to Indiana's tremendous Republican State Representatives, led by GREAT Speaker Todd Huston, Bill Sponsor Ben Smaltz, and Elections Committee Chairman Tim Wesco, who just overwhelmingly voted to pass their new, much fairer, and improved, Congressional Map. It was my Honor to win Indiana six times, including Primaries, in 2016, 2020, and 2024, and this new Map would give the incredible people of Indiana the opportunity to elect TWO additional Republicans in the 2026 Midterm Elections.
The Indiana Senate must now pass this Map, AS IS, and get it to Governor Mike Braun's desk, ASAP, to deliver a gigantic Victory for Republicans in the “Hoosier State,” and across the Country. I am hearing that these nine Senators, some of whom are up for Re-Election in 2026, and some in 2028, need encouragement to make the right decision: Blake Doriot, Brett Clark, Brian Buchanan, Dan Dernulc, Ed Charbonneau, Greg Goode, Jim Buck, Rick Niemeyer, and Ryan Mishler. Let your voice be heard loud and clear in support of these Senators doing the right thing. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
