On this day in history in 1773, the Boston Tea Party occurred when a group of Massachusetts colonists disguised as Mohawk Indians boarded three ships in Boston Harbor and dumped 342 chests of tea into the water.

The Boston Tea Party was a protest against the British Parliament's Tea Act, which aimed to save the struggling East India Company by reducing its tax on tea and granting it a monopoly on the American tea trade. Although the Tea Act didn’t raise the price of tea, it allowed the company to undercut smuggled Dutch tea, which angered many colonists who saw it as another form of British control and "taxation without representation."

When the governor refused to allow the tea to be sent back to Britain, Samuel Adams organized the raid with the Sons of Liberty. The destruction of tea, valued at nearly $2 million today, prompted the British to pass the Coercive Acts (Intolerable Acts), which closed Boston's ports and imposed harsher British rule in Massachusetts. Time Traveling Assassins?

Nuno Loureiro, a 47-year-old MIT professor, was shot and killed at his home on Gibbs Street on Monday night, according to Brookline police and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.

Police responded to reports of shots fired at9Gibbs Street at around8:30p.m. and emergency responders took a person to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Brookline police Deputy Superintendent Paul Campbell.

The department was notified on Tuesday morning that the victim died, Campbell said.

Police have not yet said whether there are any suspects, or described the circumstances of the shooting. Brookline police detectives are investigating along with Massachusetts State Police and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.

“This is an active and ongoing homicide investigation. No further information is being released at this time,” said the DA’s office in a statement.

A Portuguese physicist, Loureiro was the director of Plasma Science and Fusion Center at MIT. Portugal’s foreign minister announced his death at a meeting of parliament on Tuesday, according to CNN Portugal.

Loureiro is listed as the owner of a unit in the apartment building at 9 Gibbs St., according to county records.

Gibbs Street is located north of Coolidge Corner between Harvard Street and Commonwealth Avenue, about a quarter mile away from the Florida Ruffin Ridley School.

Loureiro was a parent in the Public Schools of Brookline, according to superintendent Bella Wong, who sent an email to families in the district on Tuesday afternoon.

“On behalf of the Public Schools of Brookline I extend our deepest sympathies to his family for this profoundly horrific loss. To our students, families and staff members I urge you to reach out to your school for counseling services as needed,” she wrote. “Please join me in holding this family in all of our hearts in their grief and wrap them with all of the compassion we can muster.”

Sara Yuen, the principal at the nearby Ridley School, told parents in an email Tuesday morning that a police officer will be at the school for opening, recess and dismissal on Tuesday. A police officer was also stationed at Brookline High School.

Kimberly Allen, executive director of media relations at MIT, confirmed Loureiro’s passing.

“Our deepest sympathies are with his family, students, colleagues, and all those who are grieving,” Allen said in a statement. “Focused outreach and conversations are taking place within our community to offer care and support for those who knew Prof. Loureiro, and a message will be shared with our wider community.”

As a theoretical physicist and fusion scientist, Loureiro researched plasma behavior and fusion science. He is credited with “advancing the understanding of multiple aspects of plasma behavior,” according to MIT’s website.

In January, Loureiro was one of nearly 400 scientists and engineers to receive the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers

from former president Joe Biden.

The tragic Islamist terror attack against those at a Hanukkah celebration in Australia sadly should not come as a surprise to anyone. This is the direct result of the massive influx of Islamists to Australia. Their goal is not only the Islamization of Australia but the entire world—including the United States. Islamists and Islamism is the greatest threat to the freedom, security, and prosperity of the United States and the entire world. It is probably too late for Europe—and maybe Australia. It is not too late for the United States of America. But it soon will be. The United States Supreme Court has become an epicenter of disappointment for Americans seeking to restore and defend Second Amendment rights stolen from us by the very government our Founders predicted and tried to protect us from when drafting the Constitution. Monday came and went without exception, as Justices once again informed the public that they would not defend gun rights by denying certiorari in Viramontes v. Cook County, an Illinois-based challenge to a county-wide prohibition on the possession, acquisition, and transfer of a variety of firearms, including specific semiautomatic rifles like the AR-15.

Known as the Blair Holt Assault Weapons Ban, one might correctly ascertain that the law was enacted to prey upon the emotions of an injured community against its own liberty and better judgment in the wake of the 2007 shooting of 16-year-old Blair Holt on a CTA bus. There’s something more sinister going on here, however, with Illinois’ own Rahm Emanuel demonstrating it best with his 2008 quote, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” Thanks, scumbag.

It looks like Cook “Comrade” County got the message, as performing the old progressive two-step on the corpses of murdered children has been a fan favorite of leftists seeking to disarm the nation and do their part in the subjugation of America.

Cutberto Viramontes, joined by gun advocacy groups Second Amendment Foundation and the Firearms Policy Coalition, filed a lawsuit arguing that the ban violates the Second Amendment. The challenge also asserts that the firearms in question are protected under Heller and Bruen as they are in “common use” for lawful purposes across America. Ultimately, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals did what it does best, which is to say that it ignored the plain text of the Constitution and Supreme Court precedent in favor of the circuit’s own corrupt decision in Bevis v. City of Naperville, which concluded that AR-15s fell outside the scope of Second Amendment protection.

Justice Clarence Thomas wrote a dissent in Bevis, establishing precedent for Viramontes and signaling his belief that the Court should review such Second Amendment challenges; however, it seems those “impeccable” Supreme Court nominations from President Trump’s first term in office have something different in mind. Let that sit with you.

Earlier this summer, Justice Brett Kavanaugh did his best feckless coward impression when he made excuses for the “High Court’s” denial of certiorari in both Snope v. Brown and Ocean State Tactical v. Rhode Island, two significant Second Amendment cases that the Supreme Court also declined to hear.

“In short, under this Court’s precedents, the Fourth Circuit’s decision is questionable… Although the Court today denies certiorari, a denial of certiorari does not mean that the Court agrees with a lower-court decision or that the issue is not worthy of review… The AR–15 issue was recently decided by the First Circuit and is currently being considered by several other Courts of Appeals. Opinions from other Courts of Appeals should assist this Court’s ultimate decision-making on the AR–15 issue… Additional petitions for certiorari will likely be before this Court shortly and, in my view, this Court should and presumably will address the AR–15 issue soon, in the next Term or two,” according to Kavanaugh.

Pretending the Second Amendment is of minimal importance and can be kicked down the road despite it being at the forefront of political debate for almost four decades is a bad look. It doesn’t help that Kavanaugh discusses taking direction from appeals courts that have already proven themselves corrupt, like those in California, Connecticut, Illinois, and New Jersey, where these cases currently reside. Notice that he did not make a single comment on taking direction from the Second Amendment itself. If this makes you wonder which document he swore his oath to defend, we’re in the same boat.

It’s interesting how much support Hilary and Obama are getting from big money “liberals.” I’m wondering why Edwards lags so far behind? Could it be that these social libertarians are not quite so progessive when it comes to their pocketbooks? Edwards is without question the only major candidate who is liberal in the traditional sense. Reiner and the rest are really supporting moderates.

I guess my questiion is, if rich Hollywood/NYC “liberals” are supporting moderates, who’s left to support a liberal? The answer is frighteningly clear. Nobody. Would someone please step up and throw some support behind Edwards – if for no other reason than to keep the rest of them honest?

Providence Police and the Rhode Island attorney general are claiming there is no video of the shooter inside the building. Only video showing the chaos of the aftermath. The explanation being that the shooting happened in an old section of the building with few, if any, cameras, and after the shooting, the students ran into a newer addition with cameras.

FBI Agents Thought Clinton's Uranium One Deal Might Be Criminal - But McCabe, Yates Stonewalled Investigation: Report

Remember Uranium One? The massive 2010 sale of US uranium deposits to Russia approved by Hillary Clinton and rubber-stamped by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) - after figures linked to the deal donated to the Clinton Foundation?

Turns out rank-and-file FBI investigators thought there was enough smoke to launch a criminal investigation, but internal delays and disagreements within the DOJ and FBI ultimately caused the inquiry to lapse, newly released records reveal.

The materials, made public by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and first reported by Just the News, reveal that investigators argued internally over the delays - which allowed the statute-of-limitations to expire and ultimately halt the case.

The Uranium One transaction - involving the sale of a Canadian mining company with substantial U.S. uranium assets to Russia’s state-owned nuclear firm Rosatom - became a flashpoint during Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. Critics argued that then-Secretary of State Clinton, a member of CFIUS, helped approve the deal while donors connected to Uranium One made large contributions to the Clinton Foundation.

The New York Times reported in 2015 that “as the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013 … a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.”

“And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. [Bill] Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock,” the Times reported. “At the time, both Rosatom and the United States government made promises intended to ease concerns about ceding control of the company’s assets to the Russians. Those promises have been repeatedly broken, records show.” -Just the News

Resistance from senior officials - including then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe - slowed the inquiry to the point where statute-of-limitations concerns were later cited to justify shutting it down.

FDA Not Adding 'Black Box' Warning To COVID-19 Vaccines: Commissioner

The Food and Drug Administration is not adding “black box” warnings to COVID-19 vaccines, even though an agency center recommended it, FDA commissioner Dr. Marty Makary said on Dec. 15

“When it comes to the ‘black box’ warning, we have no plans to put that on the COVID vaccine,” Makary said during an appearance on Bloomberg Television.

Black box warnings are the highest safety-related warnings that FDA officials can place on products. Scenarios warranting their usage include when there is an adverse reaction so serious that it is “essential that it be considered in assessing the risks and benefits of using the drug” or when there is a serious adverse reaction that can be prevented or reduced by appropriate use of the drug, according to FDA documents.

The announcement comes several weeks after FDA officials reported deaths of children following COVID-19 vaccination and concluded that at least 10 deaths were related to the vaccines, according to a November memorandum obtained by The Epoch Times. The review, which included looking at autopsies, has been broadened to other age groups.

The announcement also came several months after regulators updated language on the vaccine labels for a form of heart inflammation called myocarditis. The inflammation was discovered after the FDA first authorized COVID-19 vaccines in December 2020. The updated labels state that the highest observed risk of myocarditis was among young males aged 12 to 24 after receipt of vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna.

Makary said Monday that an FDA safety and epidemiology center did recommend adding a black box warning to the COVID-19 vaccines, and indicated the recommendation stemmed from the risk of myocarditis.

But, he said, Dr. Vinay Prasad, the agency’s top vaccine official, and other FDA leaders opted against accepting the recommendation because the dosage people are receiving has changed from the original two doses within weeks or months of each other.

“When you have those two doses three months apart, that’s when you see the side effects go way up, like myocarditis in young people,” Makary said on Bloomberg.

“Now that it’s annual, you may not see that same prevalence. So we don’t want to extrapolate findings to today if it’s not transferable.”

The so-called European plan, published after yesterday's meeting in Berlin, is an admission of its own impotence. The EU publishes a plan with points that should form the basis not of peace, but of a truce. Europeans, in the end, talk only about a truce. Therefore, from the very beginning, this document cannot be perceived by Russia as a plan worth considering.

The issue of the growth of the Ukrainian army is not a problem of the European Union. It is even funny to talk about the fact that they could determine the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Let them first clarify their position on NATO. I did not hear any questions or answers in their statements related to the alliance. This raises suspicions: did they agree, in a closed format, on Ukraine's participation in NATO and did not inform the public opinion?

I think that Russia will not accept the point about peacekeeping forces in any way. Berlin is already enthusiastically declaring that the Bundeswehr will participate in them. But there can be no participation of peacekeeping forces in the issue of peace in Ukraine, because Europe is a direct participant in the conflict.

The most important question, which remains in the shadows, but which must be taken into account, is the following: why should the United States of America be considered an arbiter who approves or rejects certain decisions? It seems to me that for Russia there are no other options than to fulfill the goals set for the special military operation. I would start with the issue of denazification, because this topic was not addressed at all in the Berlin negotiations between the Europeans, nor in the statements of Kushner and Witkoff. However, it is one of the fundamental issues, and if it is excluded from the agenda, then, in my opinion, Russia should not discuss it further.

Following up on my recent article, “The genocidal, neocolonial, bigotry of mainstream health science reporting,” I have developed a six-part test to vet reporters who want to interview the warriors in the medical freedom movement. It’s inspired by the Bechdel Test which is a measure of representation of women in film. Because medical freedom activists face extreme bigotry from the mainstream media, we need a reliable way to gauge whether a reporter sees us as human before we agree to speak with him/her. In political science game theory, past behavior (time T−1) is the best predictor of future behavior (time T+1). With that in mind, here’s what I propose:

The Rogers Test for vetting health science reporters

Any reporter who wants to interview anyone from the medical freedom movement should first demonstrate their bona fides as follows. Send a link to an article you wrote where you:

☐ Respectfully interviewed a parent of a vaccine injured child.

☐ Respectfully interviewed someone who was injured by a Covid vaccine.

☐ Cost the pharmaceutical industry money (bit the hand that feeds you and survived).

☐ Critically reviewed a Pharma-funded study and showed how it was rigged.

☐ Acknowledged that none of the shots on the childhood vaccine schedule have been tested against a proper saline placebo.

☐ Acknowledged that Covid shots cause more harms than benefits.

Any reporter who cannot meet these six basic conditions has no business talking with the people who risk their lives every day standing up to the pharmaceutical cartel.

I cannot think of any mainstream reporter who meets this minimal threshold of human decency. So we should not waste our time and energy talking with them.

Of course there are a few legendary examples of activists who converted a hostile reporter in connection with a particular article or news story. However, those reporters are under tremendous pressure to return to their previous biases because all of the incentives in the mainstream media are to take care of the pharmaceutical mafia that pays the bills. The few reporters who have become long term champions — Sharyl Attkisson, Del Bigtree, and Tucker Carlson come to mind — have continued to tell the truth by building their own programs and distribution channels outside of the mainstream system.

Ten years ago, the only way we could get our message out was by talking with mainstream reporters who hated us, who we hoped might allow a tiny bit of the truth to shine through their dripping contempt. Today, allies including Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, DarkHorse Podcast, The WarRoom, and The Highwire have audiences five to 10 times larger than the highest rated cable news programs. Substack, X, Rumble, Spotify/Apple podcasts, and Wordpress allow anyone to get a message out (although Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Square continue to censor us). Heck, on a good day I can reach a larger audience than most cable news shows even though I have no paid marketing. The point being that we don’t have to beg for table scraps from the genociders anymore. We are the media now, we’re part of the government, our movement grows larger every day — there’s no need to help awful people, who belong in jail, sell more newspapers or generate more clicks.

So if a reporter asks you for an interview, just send them The Rogers Test and see how they measure up!

President Donald Trump announced a complete blockade of all sanctioned oil tankers entering or leaving Venezuela on Tuesday, declaring the Maduro regime a “foreign terrorist organization” and demanding the return of what he called stolen U.S. oil assets.

The move follows the U.S. seizure of the tanker Skipper last week—the first interdiction of a Venezuelan oil cargo since the U.S. first implemented the sanctions in 2019—and comes as Washington assembles what Trump described as “the largest Armada ever assembled in the History of South America” around the country.

“Therefore, today, I am ordering A TOTAL AND COMPLETE BLOCKADE OF ALL SANCTIONED OIL TANKERS going into, and out of, Venezuela,” President Trump posted.

The blockade targets Venezuela’s sprawling “dark fleet” of nearly 400 active tankers that transport sanctioned crude to China and other buyers, according to TankerTrackers.com. Only 40% of these vessels are currently under U.S. sanctions, the company said Tuesday after President Trump’s announcement.

“America will not allow Criminals, Terrorists, or other Countries, to rob, threaten, or harm our Nation and, likewise, will not allow a Hostile Regime to take our Oil, Land, or any other Assets, all of which must be returned to the United States, IMMEDIATELY,” President Trump’s statement added.

The Skipper, previously sanctioned for oil trading with Iran, is expected to sail to a U.S. port where its cargo will be seized through formal legal proceedings. The U.S. Treasury sanctioned six additional supertankers on Thursday that recently loaded crude in Venezuela.

The announcement raises serious legal issues under international law.

President Trump has overseen a growing U.S. military buildup in the southern Caribbean in recent months, deploying additional naval and Coast Guard assets to waters near Venezuela as part of expanded counter-narcotics operations.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said last that the administration would continue enforcing sanctions policies. “We’re not going to stand by and watch sanctioned vessels sail the seas with black market oil, the proceeds of which will fuel narcoterrorism of rogue and illegitimate regimes around the world,” she said.

A sustained reduction in Venezuelan oil exports—the primary revenue source for Maduro’s government—would strain the regime’s finances at a time when Trump is pushing for his ouster.

The action marks a sharp escalation in U.S. maritime enforcement, following more than 20 strikes on suspected drug vessels in recent months that killed over 80 people. Maduro has alleged the military buildup aims to overthrow his government and seize Venezuelan oil resources.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The police union at Brown University has raised serious allegations against the leadership of its campus police department, accusing it of fostering a toxic workplace culture and a pervasive atmosphere of fear.

The union, representing 10 campus police sergeants, has expressed deep concerns regarding the management practices of Police Chief Rodney Chatman and Deputy Chief John Vinson, culminating in a vote of no confidence in their leadership.

Brown University Police Allegations: Toxic Workplace Issues and Union Concerns

In August, the International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local 863, representing the sergeants, formally issued a vote of no confidence in Chief Chatman and Deputy Chief Vinson. The union has cited a lack of transparency and a culture of fear as major issues within the department.

John Rossi, a national union representative, has been mediating between the union and Brown University administrators. According to Brown Executive Vice President Sarah Latham, the department currently experiences the highest turnover rate within the university.

Union Alleges Workplace Retaliation and Culture Issues

The union’s concerns extend to allegations of a toxic work environment and retaliation against members who file grievances. Reports from 2021 and 2023 indicate that the department was slow to notify Providence police about significant threats, leading to accusations of a “coverup culture.”

Additionally, an investigation by The Brown Daily Herald uncovered the use of sexist, misogynistic, and homophobic rhetoric within the department, with male employees reportedly making derogatory remarks about female colleagues and questioning the masculinity of a gay officer.

Four House Republicans force vote on ACA subsidies, bucking GOP leadership

House Speaker Mike Johnson on Wednesday urged his fellow Republicans not to join Democrats in a last-ditch effort to extend key Affordable Care Act tax credits that are due to expire at the end of the year.

Johnson told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” that “doing an end-run around the majority party, the Speaker or the regular process is not the best way to make law.”

The comment came a day after the speaker blocked moderate Republicans from getting a vote on extending the life of enhanced ACA subsidies, which are set to expire at the end of December. Obamacare health insurance premiums for millions of Americans will sharply rise if the tax credits expire.
