President Trump: Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of my inauguration, and today, after twelve months back in the White House, our economy is booming, growth is exploding, productivity is surging, investment is soaring, incomes are rising, inflation has been defeated, our previously open and dangerous border is closed and virtually impenetrable, and the United States is in the midst of the fastest and most dramatic economic turnaround in our country's history.

President Trump: Since my inauguration, we've lifted more than 1.2 million people off of food stamps, and after four years in which Biden secured less than one trillion of dollars of new investment in our country; think of that, one trillion, substantially less than that, in four years, we've secured commitments to a record-breaking eighteen trillion dollars, and we think when the final number come out, they'll be closer to twenty trillion dollars of investment. That's never been don by any country, at any time, Not even close.

The largest single-year reduction in government employment since the end of World War II. Nobody thought that was coming, but we had no choice. The United Kingdom produces just one-third of the total energy from all sources that it did in 1999, and they're sitting on top of the North Sea, one of the greatest reserves

We're gonna hit fifty thousand, and that stock markets, gonna double in a relatively short period of time because of everything that's happened.

President Trump: They have a choice. You can say yes [give us Greenland], and we will be very appreciative, or you can say no, and we will remember.

President Trump: Homes are built for people, not for corporations, and America will not become a nation of renters. We're not going to do that. That's why I have signed an executive order banning large institutional investors from buying single-family homes. It's just not fair to the public. They're not able to buy a house. And I'm calling for congress to pass that ban into permanent law, and I think they will.

And then we have this fake congressperson, who they've just reported is worth thirty million dollars. You believe this? Ilhan Omar. Talking about the, 'Constitution that provides me'. She comes from a country that's not a country, and she's telling us how to run America. Not going to get away with it much longer, let me tell you.

President Trump: So together, with confidence, boldness, and persistence, let us lift up our people, grow our economies, defend our shared destiny, and build a future for our citizens that is more ambitious, more exciting, more inspiring, and greater than the world has ever seen. We're in a position to do things that nobody else has even thought of before.

President Trump: We can stop wars, because that's sort of up to us. But things like dust flying in the air, wherever COVID comes from , or whatever comes; sometimes you have to be a little bit lucky.

President Trump: Without us, I think Putin would have gone all the way. I think we have it. I think there could have been a World War III, if you want to know the truth. If Kamala was elected, or Joe; any one of those thinkers, I think you could have ended up in World War III. I will say Steve Witcoff has been dealing incredibly with Putin. But we're not gonna have World War III. We want to get it stopped, but we're not gonna have World War III. I think if I wasn't elected, that could have evolved into World War III. And we're gonna know; Jared, over the next two or three days, certainly over the next three weeks, whether or not they're gonna do it. If they don't do it, they'll be blown away very quickly. The US Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps on Friday hanged to death the seditionist Michael Robinson, more popularly known as Michelle Obama, weeks after a panel of unassailable Navy officers unanimously found him guilty of treason/mutiny, sedition, and a litany of high crimes at a military tribunal that took place at Guantanamo Bay on December 16.

At the time, Real Raw News published two articles (here Michelle Obama (Michael Robinson) Military Tribunal, Part I and here) covering segments of the tribunal but was unable to complete the story due to missing pieces, which we later received. Instead of finishing the saga immediately, we opted to wait until Robinson had been executed before continuing. Robinson’s death, his inescapable demise, occurred on January 16. We shall address that first, then backtrack tomorrow to fill in the blanks, as the details of the tribunal require a separate article.

On the 16th, at approximately 11:00 a.m., three MPs from the 525th Military Police Battalion collected a theatrical Robinson, who had just eaten his last meal—eggs sunny-side-up and dry wheat toast—to escort him to the gallows. Sobbing, Robinson told guards he felt aggrieved because he hadn’t been offered a final request, erroneously suggesting that bylaws inscribed in the Geneva Conventions expressly forbid executions without first granting the condemned a final request—like a cigarette or a phone call. Robinson demanded to call his estranged partner, the Kenyan Barry Soetoro, better known as Barack Hussein Obama.

“You can call him from Hades,” an MP reportedly replied.

Once atop the gallows, Robinson repeated his request, pleading with Admiral Flatt, who had supervised the tribunal, telling him, “I don’t know. Maybe Barack can help me.”

“Help you?” Admiral Flatt responded quizzically. “How’s he gonna do that? He can’t even save himself from what’s coming.”

A minute later, the hangman standing alongside Robinson was placing a gag across his mouth and a black sack over his head. Handcuffed behind his back, Robinson uttered guttural gurgling sounds as the hangman lowered the noose, secured it around Robinson’s neck, and checked the rope’s tautness.

In the clearing below, Admiral Flatt palmed the FOB that would electronically open the swinging door beneath Robinson’s feet. He glanced at Navy and Marine Corps brass to his left and right and said, “Today, justice is served.” As he pressed the button, the pivoting door swung open and Robinson disappeared beneath it, his torso flexing and his legs flailing violently. Although the drop hadn’t snapped his neck like a twig, the rope slowly strangled him, depriving his diseased brain of oxygen and slowly transecting his spinal cord. Only when Robinson stopped twitching did the hangman lower his body to the ground.

A Navy physician checked Robinson’s vitals and declared him deceased.

The corpse was sealed inside a body bag and carted off.

The Needham, Massachusetts, native holds a bachelor’s degree in physical science from the United States Naval Academy and a master’s degree in engineering management from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida.

A retired U.S. Navy captain, Williams is an accomplished helicopter and fixed-wing pilot, having logged more than 4,000 flight hours in 40 different aircraft.

“Anyone who knows me knows that space is my absolute favorite place to be,” said Williams. “It’s been an incredible honor to have served in the Astronaut Office and have had the opportunity to fly in space three times.

I had an amazing 27-year career at NASA, and that is mainly because of all the wonderful love and support I’ve received from my colleagues.

The International Space Station, the people, the engineering, and the science are truly awe-inspiring and have made the next steps of exploration to the Moon and Mars possible.

Anders Vistisen has urged the EU to issue a clear rejection of Washington’s Greenland ambitions

A Danish member of the European Parliament launched a profanity-laced attack on US President Donald Trump during a debate on Greenland on Tuesday, accusing the EU of failing to stand up to Washington’s renewed claims over the self-governing Arctic island.

Anders Vistisen, a member of the Danish People’s Party, opened his latest speech by saying: “Let me put this in words you might understand. Mr. President, f**k off.” He previously used the same phrase in the chamber shortly after Trump was sworn in for a second term in January 2025.

According to Vistisen, “the only language Trump understands is direct language and the only rebuttal that Trump understands is a strong word from the EU.” He claimed that instead of sending a firm message, “the EU has given in,” and said he hopes that the bloc would “finally wake up and take action.”

Denmark has deployed troops to Greenland as part of the Arctic Endurance drill launched in response to Trump’s threats, while European politicians have warned that a US attack on a fellow NATO member would destroy the bloc.

Trump previously said he may have to acquire Greenland “the hard way,” and has refused to rule out the use of force. He has also announced 10% tariffs on eight European NATO states for opposing his bid to acquire the island and for sending small military contingents to take part in a Danish-led exercise there.

Trump’s flight to Davos turns back after ‘electrical issue’

The presidential plane had to return to Washington shortly after takeoff, the White House said

US President Donald Trump was forced to turn back to the Washington, DC area after a technical issue was identified on Air Force One shortly after the plane had set off for Switzerland on Tuesday.

“After takeoff, the AF1 crew identified a minor electrical issue. Out of an abundance of caution, AF1 is returning to Joint Base Andrews. The president and team will board a different aircraft and continue on to Switzerland,” the White House said in a brief statement.

AP cited a reporter on board as saying the lights in the press cabin briefly went out after takeoff.

Trump is scheduled to address the World Economic Forum in the Swiss mountain resort of Davos on Wednesday afternoon. The president is also expected to discuss with European leaders his plans to acquire Greenland from Denmark, which other NATO members oppose.

Trump has threatened to impose new tariffs on multiple European countries starting next month unless a deal on Greenland is reached.

EU officials are reportedly discussing possible retaliation, including activating previously suspended tariffs on US goods and restricting American companies’ access to the bloc’s market.

French President Emmanuel Macron denounced Trump’s threats as “unacceptable” during a speech in Davos on Tuesday, saying the EU will resist attempts to “weaken and subordinate Europe.”

NASA Chase Aircraft Ensures X-59's Safety in Flight

As NASA’s X-59 quiet supersonic research aircraft continues a series of flight tests over the California high desert in 2026, its pilot will be flying with a buddy closely looking out for his safety.

That colleague will be another test pilot in a separate chase aircraft. His job as chase pilot: keep a careful watch on things as he tracks the X-59 through the sky, providing an extra set of eyes to help ensure the flight tests are as safe as possible.

Having a chase pilot watch to make sure operations are going smoothly is an essential task when an experimental aircraft is exercising its capabilities for the first time.

The chase pilot also takes on tasks like monitoring local weather and supplementing communications between the X-59 and air traffic control.

“All this helps reduce the test pilot’s workload so he can concentrate on the actual test mission,” said Jim “Clue” Less, a NASA research pilot since 2010 and 21-year veteran U.S. Air Force flyer.

Less served as chase pilot in a NASA F/A-18 research jet when NASA test pilot Nils Larson made the X-59’s first flight on Oct. 28. Going forward, Less and Larson will take turns flying as X-59 test pilot or chase pilot.

Staying Close

So how close does a chase aircraft fly to the X-59?

“We fly as close as we need to,” Less said. “But no closer than we need to.”

The distance depends on where the chase aircraft needs to be to best ensure the success of the test flight. Chase pilots, however, never get so close as to jeopardize safety.

For example, during the X-59’s first flight the chase aircraft moved to within a wingspan of the experimental aircraft. At that proximity, the airspeed and altitude indicators inside both aircraft could be compared, allowing the X-59 team to calibrate their instruments.

Generally, the chase aircraft will remain about 500 and 1,000 feet away—or about 5-10 times the length of the X-59 itself—as the two aircraft cruise together.

“Of course, the chase pilot can move in closer if I need to look over something on the aircraft,” Less said. “We would come in as close as needed, but for the most part the goal is to stay out of the way.”

Airborne Photo Op

The up-close-and-personal vantage point of the chase aircraft also affords the opportunity to capture photos and video of the test aircraft.

For the initial X-59 flight, a NASA photographer—fully trained and certified to fly in a high-performance jet—sat in the chase aircraft’s rear seat to record images and transmit high-definition video down to the ground.

“We really have the best views,” Less said. “The top focus of the test team always is a safe flight and landing. But if we get some great shots in the process, it’s an added bonus.”

Chase aircraft can also carry sensors that gather data during the flight that would be impossible to obtain from the ground.

In a future phase of X-59 flights, the chase aircraft will carry a probe to measure the X-59’s supersonic shock waves and help validate that the airplane is producing a quieter sonic “thump,” rather than a loud sonic boom to people on the ground.

The instrumentation was successfully tested using a pair of NASA F-15 research jets earlier this year.

As part of NASA’s Quesst mission, the data could help open the way for commercial faster-than-sound air travel over land.

Choice of Chase Aircraft

Chase aircraft have served as a staple of civilian and military flight tests for decades, with NASA and its predecessor—the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics—employing aircraft of all types for the job.

Today, at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California, two different types of research aircraft are available to serve as chase for X-59 flights: NASA-operated F/A-18 Hornets and F-15 Eagles.

While both types are qualified as chase aircraft for the X-59, each has characteristics that make them appropriate for certain tasks.

The F/A-18 is a little more agile flying at lower speeds. One of NASA’s F/A-18s has a two-seat cockpit, and the optical quality and field of view of its canopy makes it the preferred aircraft for Armstrong’s in-flight photographers.

At the same time, the F-15 is more capable of keeping pace with the X-59 during supersonic test flights and carries the instrumentation that will measure the X-59’s shock waves.

“The choice for which chase aircraft we will use for any given X-59 test flight could go either way depending on other mission needs and if any scheduled maintenance requires the airplane to be grounded for a while,” Less said.
