Earlier this week, Cameron Kasky, a contributor for CNN (a basement-rated, far-left propaganda outlet that spreads conspiracy theories and encourages political violence) said this about President Trump: “I would love it if he were more transparent about the human sex-trafficking network that he was a part of, but you can’t win them all.”
Wait, it gets better…
CNN anchor John Berman (D-Liar) responds with this: “Cameron is grateful that the president is being transparent about the Nobel Peace Prize and his desire to [something something]. What do you think about that?”
Yes, the far-left activist John Berman let that lie stand!
John Berman knows Kasky just launched a flat-out smear and Berman didn’t even bother to say, Whoa, whoa, there’s no evidence of that.
Thankfully, as much as Berman wanted that defamation to stand, CNN contributor Scott Jennings was having none of it…
“You gonna let that sit?” asked Jennings. “We gonna claim here on CNN that the president is part of a global sex-trafficking ring, or…?”
Serial liar Berman responds by going all big shot: “I will do the fact-checking as we go along here,” he harrumphs.
Then Berman asks Kasky to repeat the defamation, and after Kasky proudly does, Berman again glosses it over with, “We’ll get to that later. Donald Trump has never been charged with any crimes in relation to Jeffrey Epstein.”
Brother … This is CNN:
Well, now that the dust has settled, and even though Kasky repeated his defamation after being given a chance to backtrack, after likely getting a whiff of his legal liability, Kasky attempted to retract his smear.
But.
Kasky wants us to believe that even though he repeated that lie on CNN, “I said that by accident and didn’t mean it.”
It’s crazy, and more proof that any clown willing to trash Trump is allowed on CNN. CNN’s vetting process for Trump haters is so broken, they allow some dummy who opens himself and CNN up to a defamation suit, and then the dummy thinks he can get away with claiming he said something “by accident” and “didn’t mean” when he said it TWICE.
What’s more, CNN is so broken, so corrupt, so dishonest, so dedicated to disinformation, a so-called anchor had to be shamed into “fact-checking” a deliberate lie and smear aimed at the President of the United States.

EU free trade pact on hold as farmers revolt
The European Parliament has sent the agreement with South America’s Mercosur bloc for judicial review amid protests
The European Parliament has voted to refer a trade agreement with the South American bloc Mercosur to the EU Court of Justice (CJEU). The move comes amid criticism of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen for bypassing normal EU procedures and widespread protests from farmers across the bloc.
On Saturday, the EU signed a trade pact with Mercosur members Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The agreement, which is projected to create the world’s biggest free trade zone, still requires approval before it can take effect.
On Wednesday, the EU Parliament voted 334 in favor to 324 against, with 11 abstentions, to ask the CJEU to determine whether the deal is compatible with the bloc’s rules. The move now significantly delays the pact that had been negotiated for 25 years, and could potentially derail final approval.
The vote took place against the backdrop of criticism of von der Leyen for handling the Mercosur deal in a non-transparent way, splitting it into separate agreements to bypass national parliaments and reduce the European Parliament’s role to a formal opinion.
The deal has also faced widespread resistance from the agricultural sector, with farmers across the bloc staging mass protests over concerns that cheap imports could undercut their livelihoods. The latest rally began on Tuesday outside the European Parliament in Strasbourg and drew support from some lawmakers, continued overnight, and ended on Wednesday.
Von der Leyen had pushed the deal, describing it as a “clear and deliberate choice,” highlighting that the EU opts for “fair trade over tariffs” and “a productive long-term partnership over isolation.” The pact came just six months after she signed an agreement with US President Donald Trump that imposed a 15% tariff on most EU exports. The EC president faced strong pushback over the US deal from current and former EU officials and heads of member states.
The EU is Mercosur’s second-largest trading partner, accounting for nearly 17% of the bloc’s total trade in 2024, at €111 billion.

Kraft Heinz's Top Shareholder Berkshire Plots Exit
Kraft Heinz shares are down about 7.5% in New York premarket trading, the biggest drop in just under four years, after the company filed an 8K allowing Berkshire Hathaway to sell up to 325.4 million shares of stock if it chooses to do so.
Kraft Heinz's permission to sell is not an actual sale. No shares have been sold as a result of this filing, and Berkshire is not obligated to sell anything.
The proposed sale of the 325.4 million shares by Berkshire represents about 28% of the packaged-food company. This comes as the company recently announced plans to split into two.
Bloomberg noted, "After years of underperformance, Kraft Heinz announced in September that it would separate into two public companies, essentially undoing its $46 billion mega-merger from a decade ago. Its chairman has blamed the company's poor performance on an overly complex corporate structure and the inability to focus on capital allocation and the right projects to prioritize. Kraft Heinz also replaced its chief executive officer at the start of this month."

During the farmers’ protest in Strasbourg, ahead of the European Parliament’s vote on the Mercosur trade deal, police used tear gas against demonstrators seeking an appeal to block the agreement. Officers reportedly were forced to throw stun grenades at the protesters as they tried to enter the parliament building.

Judge Grants Russell Brand Bail as Two More Women Accuse Him of Rape and Sexual Assault
(UPI) — Two more women have accused actor Russell Brand of rape and sexual assault, and a judge in London on Tuesday granted Brand bail ahead of a Feb. 17 pretrial hearing.
Brand, 50, appeared remotely from his home in South Florida via video in the Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London, during which new charges were entered based on complaints filed by two women.
The additional charges accuse Brand of one count of rape and one count of sexual assault in 2009. The bail amount was not announced.
Those charges are in addition to two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault filed against Brand that are alleged by four women from 1999 to 2005.
Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring told Brand that one of the charges against him only can be tried in a crown court and granted him an unannounced bail amount ahead of his scheduled pretrial hearing in London’s Southwark Crown Court on Feb. 17.
Tuesday’s hearing lasted about six minutes, during which Brand only acknowledged his name and date of birth.
The entertainer previously denied all allegations against him and said he only had consensual relations with his accusers and all other women.
He called the claims against him a “coordinated attack,” The Guardian reported.
One accuser said Brand raped her in 1999 while in southern England, and another said he “indecently assaulted” her in London in 2004.
A third accuser said Brand sexually assaulted and orally raped her in 2004, while a fourth victim accused him of sexual assault between 2004 and 2005.
Brand in May pleaded not guilty to those charges.
The actor and comedian was married to singer Katy Perry from October 2010 to December 2011 and has appeared in several films and television programs.
He is married to Laura Gallacher, who is the mother of Brand’s daughters, Peggy and Mabel.

“The People’s Republic of China has a pilot problem,” the investigative journalist writes in The Invisible Coup. “Beijing needs five thousand pilot cadets every year to meet the demand for both military and civilian pilots. Because the Chinese military tightly controls the country’s airspace, it can domestically produce only about 1,200 pilots a year. So, Beijing quietly erected a system to train three thousand of them a year in the United States.”
“Across the US, at least sixteen flight schools, operating out of taxpayer-funded airports, are training Chinese cadets—sometimes without disclosing their foreign military ties,” he continues. “They do so by sending future military pilots to the United States posing as civilians to learn how to fly.”
This also applies to Chinese helicopter pilots, who receive American training by the thousands after entering the country on student visas with “minimal scrutiny,” Schweizer writes.
“How this happened is a testament to Chinese ingenuity in manipulating our immigration system for subversive purposes and using our openness and generosity against us. It is also a tribute to American innocence, or at worst, ignorance.”
One of the several flight schools that the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) sends future military pilots to is Sierra Academy of Aeronautics in Atwater, California — where most of the students are Chinese nationals.
Schweizer argues that this is not by mistake, but rather by design.
Sierra Academy’s owner, John Yoon, has several related companies with “extensive Chinese ties,” Schweizer reports, adding that Sierra Academy has developed plans to create a cargo facility at California’s Castle Airport to fly goods in and out of China — and were “hoping to use EB-5 money from China to do it.”
“Because Sierra Academy has been working with the Chinese government, institutions, airlines—we have all the right contacts to put this program in place,” explained Brian Johnson, Sierra’s vice president and chief flight instructor in a 2013 interview with the Merced Sun-Star.
They are “selling both aviation training and US residency—a double win for Beijing,” Schweizer points out.

New York Ends Crusade to Make Catholic Nuns Pay for Abortions

New York has finally ended its nearly decade-long campaign to force Catholic nuns and other religious ministries to fund abortions.
The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty announced on Tuesday that New York agreed to enter into a settlement with their clients after a lengthy court battle over a state abortion mandate that went to the Supreme Court twice. Plaintiffs in the case, Roman Catholic Diocese v. Harris, included a group of Catholic and Anglican nuns, Catholic dioceses, Christian churches, and faith-based social ministries.
“For nearly a decade, New York bureaucrats tried to strong-arm nuns into paying for abortionsbecause they serve all those in need,” said Lori Windham, senior counsel at Becket and an attorney for the religious groups. “At long last, the state has given up its disgraceful campaign. This victory confirms that the government cannot punish religious ministries for living out their faith by serving everyone.”
In 2017, New York issued a regulation mandating that employer health insurance plans cover killing unborn babies through abortions. While the regulation narrowly exempts certain religious organizations whose purpose is spreading their religious values, it does not exempt religious organizations with broader missions, like serving the poor, and those that employ or serve people who are not of the same faith or no faith at all. In response, the religious groups challenged the regulation.
The case went all the way up to the Supreme Court in 2021, with the high court ultimately ordering lower courts to reconsider the case. The case reached the Supreme Court again in June 2025, and justices again sided with the religious groups and ordered the lower courts to reconsider the case, citing their decision that month in favor of Catholic Charities Bureau. In that case, the Supreme Court ruled that Wisconsin had discriminated against the organization by denying tax-exempt status and violated the First Amendment’s protection of religion.
Becket said the settlement officially brings the New York case to a close.
“The Supreme Court has made it abundantly clear that religious groups shouldn’t be bullied for staying true to their faith,” Windham added. “We are glad that New York finally agreed to settle this case and protect religious objectors from discrimination.”
