DEFEATED💥: Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz stated he will NEVER seek elected office again, saying, “I will never run for an elected office again. Never again,” in an interview with MS NOW.
He highlighted grassroots heroes in Minneapolis protests who influenced the administration without running for office.
Walz cited Republican political gamesmanship and scrutiny over child care fraud as factors in his decision not to seek re-election.
This follows federal shootings in Minneapolis, subpoenas to state officials, and a phone call between Walz and President Trump indicating eased tensions.

The meetings went well and they all agreed on public safety threats being detained and handed over to ICE. Yea, Walz, Frey, Ellison all bald faced liars and we'll see exactly what they do. Tom knows this better than anyone.
That said, I disagree with how this entire shitshow has been handled. Gov. Walz, Mayor Frey, AG Ellison and many others haveflat out broken the law and they have done so with zero consequences. With impunity and malice their public statements have encouraged, promoted and spawned the paid for mayhem that has taken place in MSP. Yes, optics are important but the rule of law and it's enforcement is more important. Accountability is important and the consequences of one's words and actions even more so.
The violence in MSP should have been put down like a rabid animal. Immediately. Instead, malcontents all over the country now see what it is they have to do to save their future voters and this insurrection will spread like a cancer.
