Ukraine intercepts 80 of 111 Russian drones in overnight attack; Iskander missile strikes recorded

Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight on 30 January with one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 111 strike drones, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
The ballistic missile was launched from Russia's Voronezh Oblast. The 111 drones originated from Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and occupied Donetsk, according to the Air Force.
Approximately 70 of the launched drones were Shahed-type UAVs.
Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups engaged the aerial targets.
As of 8:00 am, air defense forces had shot down or suppressed 80 Russian UAVs, preliminary data shows.
However, the ballistic missile and 25 strike drones hit 15 locations. Debris from downed UAVs fell at two additional locations.
Russian forces did not strike energy infrastructure during the night but instead reoriented their attacks toward logistics, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The Russian forces continue to hit residential areas in cities, he added. In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian forces used ballistic missiles to strike warehouses belonging to an American company.
Russian drones also targeted Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. The situation remains difficult in the border areas of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv oblasts.
On 30 January Russia attacked Kherosn, killing one person and injuring five others. One munition hit the roadway, damaging a minibus with shrapnel. Rescuers recovered the body of the deceased driver from the vehicle.
The Air Force emphasized that the attack was ongoing, with several Russian drones still in Ukrainian airspace at the time of the report.

I was in Vegas around 9 years ago for a couple days. Actually the people and vibe there are cool. The more you get into down town, there are just hooker flyers all over the floor and someone every corner offering drugs. Actually I don't have anything bad to say about the place, just saying the gambling market is booming on the internet now, not so much in physical locations.
Vegas still has potential as an entertainment complex but without casinos.

Don Lemon Arrested By Federal Authorities Over Minnesota Church Protest
Former CNN anchor Don Lemon was arrested by federal authorities late Thursday night on charges that he violated federal law when he entered the Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota and shoved a microphone in people's faces to livestream reactions after activists stormed the church on Jan. 18.
The protesters, chanting "ICE Out!" - interrupted services because one of its pastors is also an official with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Lemon originally faced charges related to allegedly violating federal laws protecting religious exercise/houses of worship (e.g., the FACE Act or 18 U.S.C. § 241 conspiracy to deprive civil rights) by interfering with the church service.
Lemon's attorney, Abbe Lowell, said his client was taken into custody by federal agents Thursday night in Los Angeles while he was covering the Grammy awards. He is expected to make his first court appearance there.

Lemon insists that while he was tipped off ahead of time about the demonstration, he did not know they would disrupt the service.
"Don has been a journalist for 30 years, and his constitutionally protected work in Minneapolis was no different than what he has always done," said Lowell. "The First Amendment exists to protect journalists whose role it is to shine light on the truth and hold those in power accountable."
The DOJ originally sought to charge eight people over the incident, including Lemon, citing a law that protects people seeking to participate in a service in a house of worship - however a magistrate judge whose wife reportedly works in AG Keith Ellison's office only approved charges against three people, rejecting the evidence against Lemon and others as insufficient.
