I am using Linux as my host OS (Ubuntu to be precise). I also installed Veracrypt for encryption. I don't use anti-virus software because I don't use Windows. You don't need it if you are using Linux.

Veracrypt supports full drive encryption on linux? I was thinking its only for Windows (linux have LUKS2 equivalent)

You barely need it for windows. If you are sticking with trusted signed software. You need it if you are using cracked shit or sus unsigned programs.
