A poor storytime for a great series. I stopped posting to just read the whole thing at once sometime during the first five issues, and then I lost the interest in commenting as it went as the series is so good that I don't think there's really much to say that one wont pick up from just experiencing it for themselves.

Many Jedi are wrong for forsaking passion and take non-interventionism to a fault. Many Sith are wrong for allowing their passions to blind them and being aggressive to a fault. However, this doesn't require any great synthesis to correct. A Sith who simply knows when to and when not to act suddenly rises above the "issues" of the philosophy, similarly with a Jedi. A Jedi who doesn't cut himself off from everything has the power and the potential to do great things.

There's a reason Luke is referred to as a Jedi despite several times giving into his strong emotions and overall forsaking non-attachment and non-interventionism. Those aren't really core components of being a Jedi any more than being a backstabbing rage-nigger is a core component to being a Sith. It seems those are just common pitfalls. The division in philosophy is more that Jedi see themselves primarily as Knights, fighting the valiant cause for the good of [something], whereas Sith see themselves as Lords, carving out fiefdoms and ruling them as they see fit.

Tatooine wasn't that hard. For me Malestare and the Bando Gora moon were far harder compared to Tatooine. The enemies on the Bando Gora base weren't as hard though since you can subdue the swarms fairly easily with flamethrower.

I can safely say my like for the Shadows of the Empire game isn't nostalgia, since I didn't play the game when it was newand couldn't have, on account of it being older than I am by about a year or so. It's pretty good other than some of the vehicle sections being wonky, especially the speeder section, and the physics being tied to framerate on PC. If you want a Star Wars game that's objectively shit, you're better off digging through some of the GBA titles like the Episode II video game- you can almost smell the pure ass emanating from some of them.

He would even go against the movies and the lore for his own benefit, and Ahsoka's as well. Does it even make sense for Revan to be in that scene? He got redeemed as a Jedi. Sure, he's in the sith history books, but why would he show up as a literal sith ghost and pretend to know or care about "the chosen one"? That entire conversation felt really out of character for him. Not surprised at all that he was cut out, because that looked like really unimaginative pandering which kotor fans probably would have hated. He should have been integrated more cleverly or not at all.

Ahh right, that's cool. I didn't know they were paying attention to swtor. I thought about that angle but figured it would be way too far fetched. Even so, I remember the spirit issue being resolved in the Revan expansion (maybe my memory is faulty).

I guess it makes sense considering swtor also implemented one of the planets from TCW. That talk about the "chosen one", feels a bit ham-fisted though. I can't imagine Revan keeping up with that kind of shit.

I actually would rather they stepped away from established characters (and imagery). Get back to telling stories, rather than just endlessly showing us things we recognise to illicit a Pavlovian response.

Force Unleashed was a mediocre game that fucked with a lot of pre-established lore and history, but it was technically under orders by the Emperor. According to the game, the creation of the Alliance was to gather all of the Empire's enemies under one organization that, and once all the leaders of the different rebellious factions got together, eliminate them all at once and break the resolve of their supporters.
