Seriously fucking concerning what is happening. And in addition, there's a good chunk of people who are dissatisfied yet they're too stupid to reach the logical conclusions needed so they spin their wheels in the air trying to find "the root causes".
Ontario is full of people with loyalties to absolutely nothing. Two brown incels already this year took their frustrations out on random civilians. ANY radical shift in the overton window will manifest itself in Toronto easily. If the US goes 14/88, both sides here will feel either emboldened or ostrasized, and lash out at the other.
Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but the way the pieces are being laid out, someone is going to be the loser in all of this.
Hopefully the Faith/Ford momentum stays strong but what can be foretold about the future? Starting the rot takes much less effort than reversing it. Reversing the rot requires putting people in their place and unless that's done skillfully, people (undesirables) will feel nihilistic and do what rootless losers always do.
I'll be voting for Faith.
