Alfred de Grazia is a very cool customer. He is a Velikovskian which is not to everyone's taste but he knows his stuff particularly in the Greco-Roman Mediterranean area.

I really enjoyed "The Disastrous Love Affair of Moon and Mars" Having read the book it makes me strongly suspect that the story of Queen Guinevere's infidelity with Sir Lancelot is the same story as what de Grazia recounts form the Iliad.

The PDF of it is in three parts, which I will post.

I really like how he captures that the men of the Iliad are are not great warriors. They have no noble lineage, no back story. They are just the maddened survivors of the Iron Age.

They seem to know nothing about seamanship in spite of having boats. And they don't even know how to fish. They don't know to eat fish. They are from inland, presumably after one of the many tidal waves wiped out everyone else.

The version of the love affair between Queen Guinevere and Sir Lancelot in the Tales of Chivalry is very good. Very obviously describing the same events.

The only difference is it is King Arthur who is wronged in Le Mort d'Artur and Hesphaestus the lame blacksmith is the version at the end of the Odysee.

The etymology of Arthur and his role makes if clear he is Jupiter - Jove [Iowe] - Jehovah - [Yahuwa] - [Ahurer] - Arthur, as with the Chinese Emperor Yao. But who is Hesphaestus? Is there a lame knight?

At the end of the story there is the same trial with all the knights / gods involved and the same almost non-commital outcome. Things went back to normal. Queen Guinevere restored and resplendent.

Mike Baillie makes a very compelling argument that Arthur is Lugh.

The Celtic Gods: Comets in Irish Mythology, Patrick McCafferty and MIke Baillie

Exodus to Arthur : catastrophic encounters with comets, Mike Baillie

and

New Light on the Black Death: the cosmic connection, Mike Baillie

The third one isn't about myth/memory, but a deep dive into his methodology, combining his own field of dendrochronology with ice core studies, all converging on the compelling hypothesis that the earth's movement through the Taurid complex twice each year cyclically produces major terrestrial and health catastrophes and other lesser effects.

I've marked my copies up heavily, regarding his early failure to see the electrical/plasma nature of the phenomena he's describing/considering, but he can't be blamed for that. He came round to the EU view later, and by the mid-'00s actually talks about "electromagnetic" elements.

Thanks. I am just reading about him on Wikipedia

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lugh

"He has a green mantle wrapped about him"

I can tell straight away that is a planetary god. They are always clothed in green electrical discharge.

I wonder if he is one of the Lillywhite Boys from Green Grow the Rushes-O: "Two, two the lillywhite boys, clothed all in green-ai-o".

"In his hand a five-pointed spear and next to it a forked javelin."

That is for sure interstellar lightning. No Earthly weapon looks like that.

"It is a wonder to me", said he, "that the sun to rise in the west today, and in the east every other day". "It would be better that it wer so", said the druids. "What else is it?" said he. "The radiance of the face of Lugh of the Long Arms"

"and like to the setting sun was the radiance of his face and forehead, and they were unable to gaze upon his countenance on account of its splendour."

Being compared to or being a sun. That is Saturn or Jupiter for sure as no other planets can *be* the Sun and radiate like it.

This is a pretty close match for King Arthur already IMO.
