King Arthur
I had known the Tales of Chivalry were celestial for a long time but a really obvious one eluded me until a few days ago when "Anachronistic Affliction", on great form as usual, pointed out to me what should have been very obvious to me all along and wasn't.

That the Round Table is the rotating Face of Saturn. I knew that was the same as the Buddhist wheel symbol but it hadn't occurred to me that the Round Tables was too.
Partly because I had King Arthur down as a manifestation of Jupiter instead - mainly going on his name - Jove, Iowe, Jehovah, Iohowah, Arthur. Also the placing of Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh - a city whose name means literally City of God and Arthur's Seat is obviously a volcano right outside the town., presumably active rather more recently than they claim today.
But placing Queen Guinevere as the Queen of Heaven star and Jupiter as Sir Lancelot, that explains it. I had Sir Lancelot as Mars instead.
Will need to think more about it. But British mythology is best mythology and seemingly very few people know how to interpret it. Kudos to the guy for noticing.
Biblical analysis thread
General thread but starting off looking at the Book of Joshua.
There are lots of interesting things in this. For instance, what actually is the Ark? Why does it cause the waters to be heaped up?
Chapter 5:
And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.
14 And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;
15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)
16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.
17 And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.
Now, lets put to one side that the river Jordan then is the same river as today as that river is a trickle. I understand it is possible to just walk across. Maybe the climate was wetter then, though, leading the Jordan to be fuller.
Another hypothesis is that the River Jordan is in the sky, similar to the Nile. What the Norse called the Bifrost maybe, running up from the north pole. But a more likely river in the sky would be rings around the Earth left by the Great Flood - sea spray, same as Saturn's rings. I ma privately convinced that if it were possible to bring back a sample from those rings they would have the same salinity as the sea on Earth.
But assuming they aren't talking about anything in the sky or anything in modern-day Palestine, Fomenko hypothesised that they were talking about the River Bosphorus in modern-day Turkey. Which is a big impressive water-course, could not possibly be forded and would have enough water to heap up as described in Chapter 5. He also identified an island where he thought the twelve stones were deposited.
Buddhist Praying-Wheel by William Simpson
I have found this highly informative book by William Simpson, The Buddhist Praying-wheel. It is from 1896 and can be downloaded here:

He ties together all these wheel metaphors. Even spots Joshua rotating 7 times around the walls Jericho, and on the 7th rotation the 'trumpets' blasting and the 'walls' tumbling down. I had never noticed that before but it suggests to me that happened in the sky and is a version of the Saturnisn Collapse fable. He spots it right away and connects it to the ritualised turning and wheel imagery of India.
The Disastrous Love Affair of Moon and Mars
Alfred de Grazia is a very cool customer. He is a Velikovskian which is not to everyone's taste but he knows his stuff particularly in the Greco-Roman Mediterranean area.
I really enjoyed "The Disastrous Love Affair of Moon and Mars" Having read the book it makes me strongly suspect that the story of Queen Guinevere's infidelity with Sir Lancelot is the same story as what de Grazia recounts form the Iliad.
Legendary animals
Legendary animal thread and their origins.
Starting with the Huma bird. What sort of bird is a Huma bird? It is refered to near the start of Rory Stewart's book, The Places in Between, about walking across Afghanistan.
That has to be some sort of celestial-electrical phenomonen. There is a bit of a similarity with our phoenix too.
What is the egg made of? Planet? Ball lightning? Comet?
Saturn and the Covenant of Noah
I have understood something new about the Great Flood and Biblical talk of a covenant.
Primitive people may have no notion of contract or future agreement. I have it saved somewhere but someone did an investigation of the Zulu language in South Africa (or Xosa) and it had an entry in the Zulu to English dictionary for contract. But no Zulu had heard of it.
The entry had translated contract to mean to binds the feet. That is, capitive. But actually the concept simply didn't exist in Zulu.
Classical depiction of Saturn/Chronos sometimes show him with chains around his feet. Or bindings, like this picture.
And that is what is meant by the Covenant of Noah. The chains now on Saturn, not so much promising not to do it again but prevented. That is, the rings of Saturn left after the Big Spray.
The the rainbow will be the symbol of this covenant (binding) because it will have appeared at the same time also from the spray. Temporary equatorial rings that have faded since with nothing to replenish them.
Backlit they would be rainbow coloured due to ordinary diffraction. A static rainbow illuminated every night.
Stars and Bars
The Confederate Flag seems to fit in with the Catastrophist model too. The theory goes that something very like it was visible in the night sky well into Medieval times.
One bar, the Lighted Zodiac. The plane of the Solar system filled with space dust and grit, reflecting Sunlight in the night sky. I have read this was visible as late as the 1840s. Every planet shines on this line, also being confined to the plane of the Solar system. Also called tbe Ecliptic.
The other bar is the Earth's equatorial ring. Presumable a set of real rings anciently (assuming the Flood of Noah caused Saturn's rings and sprayed Earth) but by Medieval times likely faded away to near nothing. But with space grit, remaining water and any orbiting asteroids that would have made a diagonal line crossing the ecliptic due-south in the Northern Hemisphere. With asteroids making stars.
Must have been spectacular.

Lots and lots of interesting things therein. The motivation seems to be that they got wind of the Americans expecting a major catastrophe in 2012 and wanted to understand why.
They had access to the captured German research from the late 1930s as well as Tibetan manuscripts and made some very up to date conclusions about the role of electromagnetism and planetary dynamics. The odd thing is the hypothesized the existence of a massive "Iron Planet" that induced all these electrical effects that would be explained today with Birkeland Currents through space and the plasma physics that came later.
The other odd thing is the scope of the work, going back half a million years and suggesting alien origin of humanity, based on the Sumarian clay tablets describing their Creation myths. Not the last few thousand years favoured today.
I have only glanced at it so far but it looks excellent. Lots of things wrong with it of course but lots seems right and is a remarkable thing to put together in the 1980s. They were after all the number one intelligence-gathering operation at the time.
Zero Event from Anachronist Affliction youtuber
This episode about what on Earth happened at the time of Jesus is Anachronistic Affliction's best podcast yet. He is hardly known at all - his podcasts get tends or at most hundreds of views, but his content is stellar. He really knows his stuff. He has made that crucial leap of spotting that the when Fomenko noticed that Jesus seems to have been crucified in 1185AD not 33AD, either at the time or a few years after something really big happened and everything before that is messed up and huge areas of Earth seem smashed up and depopulated.
