Pythagoras was the first philosopher. The term means "one who is trying to find out".

Prior to him, there were only sages. A sage is "one who knows".

The sage attains his knowledge directly. Direct knowledge is called "gnosis", which is achieved through direct mental contact with the thing itself.

The philosopher uses reason, symbolism, geometry, systems, etc. to explain the world and to convey knowledge to himself and to others. He conceptualizes, rationalizes, and understands. He is able to convince and to think clearly.

The sage however can only point the way concerning his kind of knowledge. He can say "find out for yourself" or "do this thing and you too will know as well". That is the limit of what he can share with others. You could describe the properties of red light to someone in various terms that will make sense of them but the direct experience of actually perceiving red light is another matter.

A philosopher can predict future events. A sage can know them. The philosopher can explain how he forms his predictions and what models he uses and what facts he takes into account. The sage simply dares to look into the future of a man and tell him what he is going to do.

Most of what I have done over the years is to philosophize. To understand, formalize, conceptualize, and clarify the mechanics of magick. I have focused on matters such as the nature of the self, the will, causality (superdeterminism), and so much more. All the time seeking to prove, rationalize, and explain.

This is all well and good. Philosophy is necessary to a certain stage of life and nothing to be scorned then. It becomes something to be grown out of however, after having attained clarity through that route, and having seen its end. Then to continue on in the path of philosophy is to stifle the path of gnosis.

This distinction has become abundantly clear to me. I have at my disposal nothing short of omniscience. I can make contact with thatPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

My philosophy is related to porn. I'm a philosopher, so I have a feeling about porn. I like the way philosophy deals with sexual issues. I was already considering buying sex toys, but my girlfriend doesn't buy things just because you suggest it. But I can't use it, so instead I download it.

The original theory was that sex toys might be the highest quality stuff on the market, but in reality, the homemade stuff is usually better. That's why I'm a little hesitant.

Since it's my girlfriend, I think she'd do better to do her own thing. But I don't feel like I have a lot of choice, so I just decided to look into it.

My girlfriend whittled a dildo from wood and that I sometimes use as a sex toy. She's pretty professional and has a kind of Eastern European feel to her, but also makes me feel really badass for being willing to do something like this for her.

One evening I was hoping to watch a screening of a documentary about men who need other men to perform fellatio for them. I wasn't particularly keen on talking about my own duties in the bedroom. "No, that's fine, I don't talk about that sort of thing." I was telling the truth, but it had been so long since I had worked it out that I didn't know whether to trust my lies or not.

She came strolling out the bathroom wearing a strap-on with a wooden phallus on it. It had straps on the sides, and at the end she was wearing a strap on her stomach. I don't remember her face. As I was kneeling behind her, playing with her tits, she bent over to pick something up off the floor. I looked up and saw the wooden phallus she was wearing. It was hard and shiny, the sort you'd see an urban farmer playing with in his hand. It was screwed onto her, with a click. But it wasn't the wooden plug it's always been. I figured if she got turned on by the sight of the phallus she'd fuck it after she got done with me.

But it all cleared up a month later and we've been back to normal. The one time she did some stitches andPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Rephrase/recontext:

when i'm in my most advanced zone, i am the witness. the ultimate "spiritual method" is the simplest: the letting go of attachment to all ego positionalities.

While ascending the spiral staircase, i am constantly refracted and re-refracted through all of the relative concepts i cling to and all the limiting concepts with which i identify as my sense of self.

While re-passing through these concepts there is a seductive tendency to philosophize and make something out of nothing and masturbate masturbate masturbate with these (relatively interesting but absolutely meaningless) concepts. cue the compulsive desire to articulate and explain to others and assume the role of philosophizing guru.

This too must be let go and released into oblivion along with every idea and limited concept i insist on clinging to about mySelf. How difficult this is to do is mathematically equivalent to my desire to masturbate with the tender agony of false concepts and egoic position reinforcement.

Pythagoras wasn't the first philosopher you fucking clown. You don't know shit about Pythagoras and it is evident because you that he was the first philosopher. Pythagoras claimed to have brought philosophy to the Greeks from the Egyptian priests. 'Philosophos' means "lover of wisdom" in Greek and comes from 'mer-rekh' in Egyptian which means "lover of wisdom".

So i’ve spent time researching faiths and searching for truth and came to this conclusion

Islam = Debunked by the Gog and Magog story

Judaism = Debunked by fossils showing life existed longer than 6000 years

Christianity = *see Judaism*

Gnosticism = Bunch of Copied and Syncretized bollocks

New Age = Garbage, spiritual colonialism

Buddhism = Liberal cucks fetish

Taoism = Liberal cucks fetish

Hinduism = Sophisticated Liberal cucks fetish

Neopaganism = MMORPG

So in the end I’ve settled on Neoplatonism

Is there something I didn’t research, have you guys any opinions on Neoplatonism, let me know!

I'm a follower of Plato and Plotinus as well and I'd like to share this with you. The timeless doctrine we have is not limited to a particular faith, dogma or sect, a Christian or a Buddhist or Muslim can reach the height of the beautiful mountain (or at least get very close to the top) if they practice the esoteric/internal aspect of their own faith diligently. Since what matters is the pursuit of virtue and the seeking of God (the One) anyone who follows an orthodox faith, who purifies themselves and meditates//prays often already has the potential for uniting with the One.

Here's an anecdote about Plotinus and Origen recounted by his student, Porphyry. Origen was a christian theologian yet Plotinus had great admiration for him.

"Neoplatonism" isn't a faith. The Neoplatonists were "pagans", then many famous Christians, Jews, and Muslims were Neoplatonists as well. You can be a Neoplatonist and practice any religion. Religion is tradition/culture and the exoteric of it is a necessary component of society as it leads the hylics to God and virtue.

Please help me get rid of my phobia of phone calls.

I need to make an important call but I just can't. Even the thought of it makes me nauseous.I am okay calling family members but when I have to make appointments or call strangers I just shut down.

When I even think about making the call I feel this weird block that I can not explain, almost like occult in nature (that's the reason I post here). Why do I feel this way? I don't know. Ya all got any tips to remove this block for real? Or just get rid of social phobia in general?

If you are wondering I have family and friends, they consider me easy going and friendly but they don't have any idea how nervous I am in some situations.

I am not joking, this is for real, I am afraid of phone calls and it makes my life miserable because I have to make some important calls.

> Try reading books and recording that if you find it too hard.

I recommend this also I have a phobia of talking in general that took me years to get over because I lived isolated way too long and I just had to stand around in a public area at a busy market and very gradually come out of it. Narrating books helps you get used to talking and that then extends to being able to relax more in conversations with people.

Also something that helped too is I experienced some embarrassments (e.g. going to a public gym and in the lock room people get undressed totally naked, I had to just do it and get my swim suit on, and eventually after a couple times I stopped thinking about it when I realized all the old men around me don't give a fuck) and that kind of stuff helped shift something inside of me that made my anxiety around people less.

Another thing to try is sit around with a bum on some street and talk to him for hours. This also helps come out of the shell.

The more and more you can put yourself in increasingly "dangerous" situations where you are worried about being judged or whatever eventually you can tune the anxiety down and stop caring.

>I too have a phobia of phones, is still a struggle but we must muscle through sometimes. I would a million times rather meet someone and talk to them face to face than through phones, right now that so much dating scene is online it really pushes me away, people want you to call them or answer their phone calls before meeting, is akward to say the least. Same with job interviews, skype is hell for me, voicenotes are difficult. I would much rather go to an office but thats not at all how it works nowadays in my field, is all contract long distance work.

I have this problem lately with talking to people with emails and the worst thing is I feel they are ghosting me talking less and less and just ignoring my emails. I can't see their faces and fine tune my words based on their reactions and I have no idea if my esoteric rantings are going off the deep end with them or not.

No one was saying otherwise. Feminine energy itself is fine, the problem is women, and likewise men. Mankind has simply devolved into depravity for the most part. Both men and women are degenerate now, it's just that this community places more emphasis on how women have degenerated in the hopes of improving the state of men, among other reasons stated ITT.

I think that Joseph is Jesus's Earthly Father.

I brought this up in a theology group and was rather condemned for it so I want to search out this matter more as to arrive to a more definite conclusion.

I don't think "virgin" meant what it does now, back then.

Here are some random articles that talk about it:

https://bible.org/question/mary%E2%80%99s-lineage-one-gospels

https://outreachjudaism.org/marys-genealogy/

http://montalk.net/gnosis/187/mosaic-abuse-of-demiurgic-technology

http://www.yogebooks.com/english/atkinson/1908-09mysticchristianity.pdf (see chapter 2 "The Mystery of the Virgin Birth")

What is the truth about the lineage of Jesus and the manner in which he was born into this world?

Why do almost all Tarot decks suck nigger cock?

It's unbelievable the pile of shit that one has to dig through, resulting in still finding nothing valuable.

I maintain that the only two interesting Tarot decks are Marseille (specifically, under Camoin-Jodorowsky's restoration) and Crowley's.

The first is undoubtedly a hyper-complex traditional book of meaning, yet always remaining consistent in its basic rules: left/right orientation, colours, aiming of the sights… most of which even Crowley failed to grasp.

If one wants to venture out of these safe grounds, he'll find countless of extremely low-effort decks, most likely traced on Rider-Waite's one, whose ubiquitous popularity is a clear sign of the Kali Yuga -as with its disgustingly explicit symbols and switching places of the Major Arcana to fit bizarre astological theories, it's clearly one of the worst decks out there.

/fringe/, there must be something I am blind to: which Deck do you personally use? Which ones do you recommend?

Do you use it for readings or just for visualization?

Did you remember to have it gifted to you and not buy it yourself?

How did you consecrate it before starting to use it?

The best deck I've ever used is called "The Eternal Tarot". It uses the true order of the Tarot which is the Fool as the 21st, Strength as 11 and Justice at 8, as Eliphas Levi secretly revealed. Readings should be done at an altar with lit candles, an upright pentagram, and the seal of the sign of the cross.

Next best deck is Thoth deck but be careful with it as its easily turned into black magic.

I suppose that makes my progresses with the Rider-Waite as a beginner with accuracy from the first reading something worth looking back on. I haven't interacted with any cartomancy in a while.

I post because I originally thought that the Rider-Waite was as close as I could get to the old stuff while using money. I suggest that the perspective of the user also has an impact on the readings - the person who expects to have a less accurate reading will get that additional inaccuracy. Before even starting with the Tarot in a first reading by that deck, I invested time meditating with individual cards, and researching the meaning of the symbolisms that were present. I think I spent a few weeks doing this before diving in.

This being said, I'm more inclined to experiment with both before drawing any conclusions for my personal means.

>Don't let any masturbatory bleakness tell you differently

The world outside must also not be left without hope. As can be seen by the following quote, our highly advanced technology has allowed humans to explore space and beyond, conquering every unexplored corner of our planet. In this, many are brought together, ready to reach the stars with what they have learned in this new frontier of space travel.

What does that imply for the future of humanity? By its nature, space travel is bound to be extremely harsh, which makes it a no-brainer that we'll look to the future to try and survive all the hardship and tragedy that it may entail. Does this mean that the human race can look back and look at the troubles of the past and move past the distant moons of dying planets?

>Q is in all probability a psy-op to make people complacent and put their hopes into a fictional Q to save us all.

They have certainly played this well by playing on people's ego's to enlist their support for the war on terror and their old economical methods which have allowed us to enjoy the lavish lifestyles we have today (gas, luxuries and. health care) without having to bother to learn about all the injustices and petty daily injustices that go on in our daily lives. There is no Q, at least no candidate with a presidential level platform or vote counting that is going to even consider ending the war on drugs and ending the fact that we have two separate forms of banking system.

That is the real Q that is at play behind the democratic world's naivete about technology, in the era of Donald Trump's promotion of populist nationalism. What has happened in Silicon Valley is not inevitable. It is the product of e-democracy and its openness, and the first generation of good engineers who saw that it could be automated and empowered. Today's technology will just keep getting better and better; the world will keep getting bigger and richer and more powerful, and the scale of that power will only get bigger.

For a second there I thought you were an obvious troll.

But now I got the feeling you're not.

Look, what you are experiencing is called mental masturbation. You can be excused from falling for Atkinson's own egolatry at first, but keep at it and you'll become a clueless poser.

The Kybalion is a derivative work. A rewording of another book so it was more palatable to the public of the time. He was basically the equivalent to today's new age youtubers, which I often find informative and useful, don't get me wrong.

>In 1884, Anna Kingsford, an Englishwoman who founded an organisation called the Hermetic Society, published a book entitled The Virgin of the World of Hermes Trismegistus, which presents an adaptation of the Hermetic texts. As Greer points out, the introduction to this book bears a strong similarity to many of the ideas in The Kybalion. And in fact the introduction to The Virgin of the World, written by Kingsford’s associate Edward Maitland, does contain a number of things that are echoed in The Kybalion.

https://www.newdawnmagazine.com/articles/the-mysterious-kybalion

This book, The Virgin of the World, is what the Kybalion pretends to be and where it takes most of it's rehashed info from: https://sacred-texts.com/eso/vow/index.htm

All words, being dual, are lies that act as metaphor for Truth. Truth is infinite and thus is impossible to put into finite words. It is foolish to get upset over the use of one metaphor over another, they are all lies. It is up to the practitioner to use them correctly to reach the Truth.

And if you were to believe something that makes a dog poop or your piss gold in the street and it is truly divine, you can not get in deep enough to find it. And thus there is a double standard: The domain of the Ego is pure philosophy, while the realm of reality is a shared hallucination produced by the brain. This is the definition of the Very Lie, the common denominator between all religions, thus The God That Fights Monsters.

Magic should almost always be effortless on your part. You're allowing the Law to do the work, you're not doing the work yourself. Your job as a magician is to steer the ship, not supply the wind. If you abandon your post to expel your lungs at the sails, you're not going to get anywhere.

This was a major problem for me when invoking primal energies. Once you stop trying to "suck" or "push" the energy in and just open the floodgates and let it in it's real easy.

I for one like the way that Atkinson defines certain concepts in the Kybalion. And I mean not even the stuff about the different levels and sublevels of reality etc.. That stuff takes more imagination. But I really like how he defines things like infinity, and nothing (no-thing), and nothingness (no-thingness or not-thingness). It looks silly typing it all out here but his ideas have a nice fundamental simplicity to me.

12 Cell Salts AKA 12 Tissue Salts

What are Cell Salts?

Healthy cells amount to a healthy person. Dr. Schuessler found that the lack of one or more of these 12 minerals (often called tissue salts) put the body out of balance and into disease.” He developed them homeopathically, so they could be easily taken and assimilated. Many of the conditions that we experience today are due to the lack of particular minerals in our bodies.

These tissue salts provide harmonious cellular chemistry for optimal health, which is why they are more commonly known as cell salts. When our cells are deficient in minerals, we experience loss of energy, unclear thinking, or emotional discomfort. This is where cell salts shine. They quickly get minerals to our cells to help us regain or maintain our health. All bodily functions and conditions are influenced on a cellular level by these essential minerals; therefore they can help any condition or disease.

>Card, D. R. (2007), 12 Essential Minerals for Cellular Health, Chino Valley, AZ: KALINDI PRESS (Books Attached)

The mineral, or cell-salts, can also be prepared (and are prepared) in biochemic or homeopathic potency as fine as the trituration of Nature's laboratory in the physiology of plant growth. Then they are thoroughly mixed with sugar of milk and pressed into tablets ready to be taken internally to supply deficiencies in the human organism. A lack of the proper amount of these basic mineral salts (twelve in number) is the cause of all so-called disease.

So after experimenting with these for a bit now I would NOT recommend using the all in one cell salt( >>132375 ) don't interpret that as meaning they don't work, they definitely do and have their place but using too much can give you a plethora of side effects that can take days to go away if not longer, at MOST I would take 2 tabs every 3-4 days (as of now atleast just for the all in one salt) assuming your not doing some kind of crazy diet or fast then i would have no idea how much to take. The individual cell salts I am starting to experiment now with for example sodium sulphate had me feeling dehydrated for about 3 days after taking 3 (6x strength) tabs at once. No matter how much water i would drink I kept feeling lethargic and dehydrated, I was going to use it as a kind of diuretic but it seemed like i was still holding a good amount of subQ water which was really odd. Kali phos or potassium phosphate i'm testing whenever i feel mental fatigue and it seems to work sometimes and sometimes I feel just heat and pressure in my head again with a bit of lethargy. Thats about all I've got right now with experimenting with these but I'll post more as i test them out more, I kinda want to try silica since it's supposed to be good for your hair and nails so i would be able to see if anything actually changes significantly. Big point I want to get across tho is too much of a certain mineral can be just as bad if not worse than too little of it.

These are the ones I'm experimenting with right now, they aren't lactose based like the other ones and are apparently icing based.

I use sodium sulphate as a drying agent in an organic laboratory. As in you can add it to other solvents and it absorbs any residual water. It's probably doing that in your body. It might be a big lump of mushy sand like material in your gut. People ingesting chemicals should also look up their properties besides their position in an astrological chart etc.

Another example, which sodium phosphate do they mean there are multiple different kinds.

Thanks for letting me know about the sodium sulphate that might be what happened, like I said I was gunna use it as a diuretic since I was on an hgh secretagogue and was holding a lot of water at the time but yeah it did nothing for the subq water and overall felt like shit for a couple days, it might have dried up small intestine or something idk. I'm not too sure what kind of sodium phosphate theyre putting in here cause it just shows the name + HPUS which just means it's within the guidelines for the FDA so it would just be "Nat Mur 6x HPUS" or whatever number depending on strength, its a bs regulation ik. Also according to webmd silica is relatively safe to consume as a supplement, maybe youre thinking of silica gels? Or maybe there's something I might be missing, let me know
