King Mohammed VI continued: "We express our condemnation of these criminal acts, for which the terrorist Houthi militias and those who stand behind them, finance them, and arm them bear full responsibility, holding them all accountable before God, before history, and before international law, with all the international sanctions that must ensue from that."
He went on to say: "The security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, like that of the other member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, is an integral part of the security of the Kingdom of Morocco, and any aggression against Saudi Arabia is an aggression against Morocco; for we consider victory for our brothers in the Kingdom and in the sisterly Arab Gulf states to be a victory for right and legitimacy, and the defense of their supreme interests is a defense of our shared strategic interests."
The King of the Kingdom of Morocco affirmed his country's permanent stance alongside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting the looming threats it faces as a result of the actions of terrorist and separatist militias and the regional forces behind them, which target the security of their neighbors and their regional environment with a shortsighted and destructive vision aimed at undermining the security of the entire region, striking at the stability enjoyed by its states, and threatening vital maritime passages, which hold utmost importance for the global economy and international maritime navigation security.

America’s political leadership must be clear about the purpose of every conflict that puts our people, our security, and our resources at risk.
What outcomes are we trying to achieve?
What conditions would tell us the mission has succeeded?
Who will verify those conditions?
These are practical questions. In the Middle East, military action must serve a defined political objective along with a path to ending the fighting. In Europe, every American commitment should be measured against a realistic prospect for peace. We should know what we are asking our allies to do, what negotiations are meant to accomplish, and what would allow the United States to reduce its involvement responsibly.
A strike can destroy a target. Another shipment can sustain a fight. Neither, by itself, tells us how a war ends. If circumstances change or the objective proves unreachable, we must have the discipline to reassess, and if necessary, change our course.
Continuing along the same path because we have already invested so much is not a strategy.
The American people deserve a clear account of what is at stake, what success requires, and what it will cost. Our men and women in uniform deserve to know that their service is tied to an achievable mission. We must be as determined in the pursuit of peace as we are in the conduct of war.
