How the media secretly carries out assignments for the CIA

The June 21, 2022, Grayzone article,1 “British Security State Collaborator Paul Mason’s War on ‘Rogue Academics’ Exposed,” shines a great big light on what the “anti-disinformation” industry is really all about. (Article by Dr. Joseph Mercola republished from Articles.Mercola.com) Spoiler alert: It has nothing to do with protecting a gullible public from information that might cause them to make bad or unhealthy choices. No, it’s about creating and directing a narrative for the purpose of controlling the population and hiding truths that might overthrow the ruling cabal and its plans for a one world government.

Operation Mockingbird

Propaganda is as old as humanity itself, but the modern version of it can be traced back to 1948, when the CIA’s Office of Special Projects2 launched Operation Mockingbird,3,4 a clandestine CIA media infiltration campaign that involved bribing hundreds of journalists to publish fake stories at the CIA’s request. The CIA reportedly spent $1 billion a year (about one-third of its entire budget5) on this enterprise. CIA-recruited journalists worked in most major news organizations, including CBS News, Time, Life, Newsweek and The New York Times, just to name a few.6 Later on, the campaign expanded to include foreign media as well.7 As reported by the Free Press:8

“In 1976, Senator Frank Church’s investigation into the CIA exposed their corruption of the media … The tactic was straightforward. False news reports or propaganda would be provided by CIA writers to knowing and unknowing reporters who would simply repeat the falsehoods over and over again.”

During the Cold War, CIA propaganda disparaged communist ideologies. Today, it promotes radical ideas that bring us closer to The Great Reset — which is based on a technocratic economic system — instead.

Media Is More Controlled Than Ever

While Operation Mockingbird is said to have been officially dismantled, there’s plenty of evidence to suggest it’s still in operation. If anything, the system has only gotten more efficient and effective, as the number of major media outlets has shrunk over these past decades, and a vast majority of journalists and news anchors simply parrot what’s reported by the three global news agencies. What’s more, the CIA isn’t the only intelligence agency using the media for its own propaganda purposes. The intelligence agencies in other countries do it too. For example, leaked documents9 reveal Reuters and BBC News received multimillion-dollar contracts to advance a covert propaganda program by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) aimed at weakening Russia’s influence over its neighbors.10 You can learn more about this in “Reuters and BBC Caught Taking Money for Propaganda Campaign.” One of the biggest changes we’re seeing right now is that most of the world’s intelligence agencies are controlling media in the same direction — toward The Great Reset and the technocratic control of the global population. That’s why we’re seeing the same narratives playing all over the world. In 1977 Carl Bernstein wrote a 75-page article for Rolling Stone that exposed the CIA’s involvement with the media in even greater detail.11 Those were the days when Rolling Stone actually did decent investigative journalism. Today they are one of the largest spreaders of government disinformation.

'International impunity is the backbone of Israel's occupation,' says rights group

Every year, Defense for Children International - Palestine collects hundreds of statements from Palestinian children who were arrested and subjected to long periods of interrogation without the presence of a parent, guardian or lawyer, and Israel is never held to account for these abuses, its director tells MEMO.

When Palestinian boys, the majority teenagers, stand up to protect their homes and land, the Israeli army responds by beating them, and throwing stun grenades and tear gas at them. It is nothing short of a full-scale assault.

"The majority of the Palestinian children who are targeted by the Israeli occupation forces are young males," says Ayed Abu Eqtaish, the accountability programme director at Defense for Children International – Palestine (DCIP).

According to a DCIP report, 15 Palestinian children have been killed by occupation forces since the start of the year.

The victims included: Muhammad Akram Ali Abu Salah, 16, Sanad Muhammad Khalil Abu Attia, 16, Muhammad Hussein Muhammad Qassem, 16, Shawkat Kamal Shawkat Abed, 17 and Amjad Walid Hussein Fayed, 16.

DCIP added that on 13 February an Israeli sniper shot 16-year-old Muhammad Abu Salah, a resident of Al-Yamoun village in Jenin, in the eye, killing him.

"The violation against Palestinian children's rights are caused by the presence of the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied Palestinian territories," says Ayed.

Despite the many legal instruments and the standards that the international community has tried to put in place to protect the rights of children, the amount of child violations is getting increasingly worse over the years.

"For example, last year we documented the killing of 78 Palestinian children at the hands of the Israeli army. Sixty-one of those children were from the Gaza Strip and 17 were from the West Bank."

"Sixty of the 61 children who were killed in the Gaza Strip were killed during the military assault against Gaza in May 2021. But most importantly, we see from our documentation that there was no need to shoot to kill towards Palestinian children, because they did not pose any threat to the lives of the Israeli soldiers."

Israeli air and artillery strikes during the 11-day assault killed 253 Palestinians and wounded more than 1,900 people.

Abbott announces additional $30 million to boost local border security efforts

Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Thursday that his Public Safety Office is providing an additional $30 million in Operation Lone Star grant funding for Texas cities and counties to enhance border security operations, including funding to help deter and interdict criminal activity related to the border crisis.

“While the Biden Administration has abandoned border communities, the State of Texas will support them and help them respond to the disaster that President Biden has caused on the border,” Abbott stated in the press release. “Operation Lone Star grant funding has played an integral role in our mission to keep Texans safe and support local communities. I encourage local governments to apply for these funds as we work together to prevent illegal immigration and the smuggling of people, illegal weapons, and deadly drugs like fentanyl from Mexico into Texas.”

Additional grant funding being made available includes:

>> $16 million for any county or city — available now, grant applications open on July 11.

Governor Abbott launched the OLS Grant Program in September 2021 with an initial $100 million made available to strengthen Texas’ response to the border crisis. All eligible requests for this initial funding have been fulfilled, totaling $58 million in awards so far with $42 million still available.

17 Yemenis killed by Saudi border guards shelling on Saada

A Yemeni security source reported as quoted by local news agency Saba that 17 people were killed and others were injured when Saudi border guards shelled Saada, in yet another flagrant violation of the armistice.

The majority of the wounded are in critical condition and have been taken to Razih Hospital, west of Saada Governorate, north of Yemen, as per the news agency.

"The crime occurred despite the armistice which is declared under the auspices of the United Nations," the source added.

Furthermore, a medical source reported that a Yemeni was killed and seven civilians were injured in artillery shelling by the Saudi coalition on the Shada border district, west of Saada Governorate, north of Yemen.

It is worth noting that the Yemeni Supreme Political Council has lately stated that "the aggression's failure to implement the terms of the armistice is a negative indicator that does not encourage any upcoming negotiations to discuss its renewal."

A look back

The armistice between the Saudi coalition and the Sanaa government came into force on April 2. UN envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg announced that "under this armistice, all offensive military operations, by land, air, and sea, shall cease."

Grundberg explained that "the terms of the armistice agreement include facilitating the entry of 18 ships carrying fuel to the ports of Al-Hudaydah, and allowing two flights to and from Sanaa airport, every week."

Al Mayadeen reported 13,859 violations of the armistice in Yemen committed by the Saudi coalition.

About 3,947 violations were committed by the forces affiliated with the Saudi coalition during the second month of the truce that ended on June 2, and 5,395 violations during the first month of the truce itself, which included dozens of air raids with reconnaissance aircraft of the Saudi coalition on army and committee sites, as well as civilian homes in a number of Yemeni governorates and border fronts.

The Golden Horseshoe is a weekly designation from Just The News intended to highlight egregious examples of wasteful taxpayer spending by the government. The award is named for the horseshoe-shaped toilet seats for military airplanes that cost the Pentagon a whopping $640 each back in the 1980s.

This week's Golden Horseshoe is awarded to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences for spending approximately $413,000 to study the adverse impact climate change is purportedly having on the mental health of young people.

The NIEHS, a division of the National Institutes of Health, awarded $413,598 to researchers at Appalachian State University in North Carolina this year to conduct the study.

"Despite the frequency of climate-related natural disasters, like hurricanes, wildfires, and heatwaves, little is known about their effects on mental health in this group," according to the project description's "public health relevance statement."

"New research recognizes the role that environmental factors sensitive to climate change and variability (e.g., increasing temperatures, heat waves) may play in the complex pathway linking environmental exposures and negative mental health and well-being outcomes" among the young, stipulates the proposed Causal Analysis of the Complex Mental Health Impacts of the Climate Crisis in Young People.

Despite "a recent survey showing 7 out of 10 young people are worried about their future in the context of these planetary changes," the project abstract claims, "Few studies have fully examined climate- mental health on a national level to determine which types or combinations of climate events (extreme heat, hurricanes, extreme heat in the context of a hurricane) are connected to mental health consequences in young people."

The "overarching goal of the research is to comprehensively examine the sensitivity of mental health impacts to climate disasters in youth, as well as the compounding and cascading effect of concurrent extreme events across the U.S.," according to the project description.

The researchers plan to leverage their relationship with the global nonprofit organization Crisis Text Line to assess these psychological effects on the target demographic.

Israeli companies help raise funds for Ukraine by promoting diversity and inclusivity

Arab diversity and inclusion in Israeli business has been picking up momentum in recent months, particularly in the hi-tech field as the traditional talent pool has all but dried up.

Last month, leading companies from throughout Israel and around the world gathered for the Sustainability for Ukraine event, which featured a 24-hour web-a-thon on the future of sustainability, in order to raise funds to support civil society and sustainability in Ukraine. The campaign has raised over $170,000.

The event featured participation from Israeli nonprofit organization Ma’ala, a corporate membership organization promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Israel. Ma’ala hosted a one-hour panel of the web-a-thon devoted to diversity and inclusion in business, moderated by its CEO, Momo Mahadav.

“It’s not as if we’re on top of the world, but I think the work here on diversity inclusion is quite interesting,” he told The Jerusalem Post. “In a nutshell, what we see in Israel is quite a lot of bottom-up interventions: sort of informal interventions that are supported by management and those who are in charge, but it’s less of the top-down policies that we see in other countries.”

Le Pen blasts reverse effect of anti-Russia sanctions

The EU’s punitive measures ‘sanctioned the French more than they sanctioned Russia,’ she told French media

Marine Le Pen, the leader of France’s right-wing National Rally party, has dismissed EU sanctions against Russia as “completely inefficient.”

Speaking to French broadcaster BMF TV on Sunday, Le Pen said the “sanctions had enriched Russia; they have sanctioned the French more than they had sanctioned Russia.”. The right-wing opposition leader also added that, due to Western sanctions, France had been forced to buy oil from India, a country that itself depends on oil exports from Russia.

Her comments come as the EU plans to phase out Russian gas by 2030 in response to Moscow’s military offensive in Ukraine. In early June, the bloc adopted a new package of sanctions that included a partial embargo on Russian oil imports.

At the same time, according to a recent Bloomberg report, although the Russian economy was hit hard by sweeping Western sanctions, it proved to be more resilient than anticipated, with surging oil shipments responsible for blunting the impact of punitive measures.

The EU imposed a raft of new sanctions after Russia attacked Ukraine in late February, following the nation’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements, first signed in 2014, and Moscow’s eventual recognition of the Donbass republics of Donetsk and Lugansk. The German- and French-brokered protocols were designed to give the breakaway regions special status within the Ukrainian state.

The Kremlin has since demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join the US-led NATO military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked and has denied claims it was planning to retake the two republics by force.

. After voting for independence on July 2nd and voting on the language for their public declaration on July 4th, the Continental Congress ordered that copies of the document be printed and sent to provincial and military leaders around the colonies.

John Hancock, who was then the President of Congress, had one copy of the Declaration of Independence mailed to George Washington with instructions to have it read to his troops however he saw fit. Washington was then in New York City preparing for battle with the British. 10,000 British soldiers had already landed on Staten Island in preparation for invading New York and many more would soon arrive. Nearly 30,000 colonial soldiers had assembled in the area.

Washington and many others had been waiting for a declaration of independence for some time, while efforts at reconciliation were made by those reluctant to rebel against the Crown. While some waited for peace commissioners to arrive from England, Washington famously stated that the only people coming from Europe were Hessian soldiers.

Washington was elated upon receiving the Declaration of Independence. He immediately sent out orders that all the troops should be assembled on their parade grounds at 6pm on July 9th. The parade grounds were on New York's Commons, which is very near today's City Hall.

Washington's order explaining the purpose for the gathering was read first… "The Continental Congress, impelled by the dictates of duty, policy and necessity, [have] been pleased… to declare the United Colonies of North America, free and independent States." Afterwards, the Declaration was read to each regiment by their generals or other officers.

Numerous citizens came out for the reading as well, which sparked a celebration through the streets. Led by Isaac Sears, one of New York's leading patriots, the crowd, including many soldiers, rushed to the Bowling Green where a large equestrian statue of King George III stood. The 4,000 pound lead statue was torn down and the head cut off. The iron fence surrounding the Green had posts topped with little crowns, all of which were sawed off as well. The horse statue was cut in pieces and shipped to Connecticut to get it away from the British, who could melt it down for bullets.

The statue ended up at the home of General Oliver Wolcott, where it was melted down and cast into 42,088 bullets. Curiously though, this amount of metal should have produced twice as many bullets. For many years, the reason for so few bullets was not known, but over the decades, pieces of the statue began to appear, especially buried in the yards of homes owned by Tories during the war and near to General Wolcott's home. It is believed that Tories were spiriting off bits of the statue as they could to prevent them from being cast into bullets to be used against the British.

The head of the statue was allegedly taken by Tories on the night of July 9th and made its way to England where Thomas Hutchinson confirmed that he saw it in the home of Lord Charles Townshend. George Washington, by the way, expressed displeasure at the destruction of property, writing in his diary the next day he hoped in the future people would leave this sort of thing "to the proper authorities."

China's Foreign Minister blames Morrison government for poor relations, tells Penny Wong to 'treat us as a partner, not a threat'

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi has told Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong that the Albanese government must form a "correct understanding" of China as a partner, not a threat, according to a Chinese government summary of their first meeting in Bali.

The meeting on the sidelines of the G20 Foreign Ministers' summit on Friday night ended more than three years of cold shoulder treatment from China's Foreign Ministry towards Australian ministers, and is a prominent step in the resumption of high level contact between the two countries.

China's government waited more than 24 hours after the meeting to present its account of the exchange, which Ms Wong described earlier as "an important first step" to "stabilise" the relationship.

She told reporters that she raised the prolonged detention of two Australian citizens in Beijing on national security charges and China's trade restrictions on multiple Australian exports, but declined to specify what Mr Wang asked of Australia.

Morrison government to blame

In a statement, China's Foreign Ministry said Mr Wang laid the blame for the extraordinary deterioration of diplomatic ties in recent years on the previous Australian government, telling Ms Wong the Morrison government was "determined to view China as an adversary and even a threat".

"[The previous government] undertook a series of irresponsible words and actions," Mr Wang said at the meeting, according to the Chinese government statement.

His statement is in line with Beijing's stance over the past few years that the Australian side is to blame rather than China, despite Xi Jinping's government jailing two Australians in secretive cases, sentencing a third to death and imposing billions of dollars of trade strikes in a thinly veiled effort to economically coerce Australia.

With such measures failing to shift either the Morrison government's positions or Australian public opinion, Beijing has used the election of the Albanese government as a reason to resume diplomatic contact.

Israeli Iron Dome futile against Russian missiles: Ukraine defense

Ukraine doesn't need the Israeli Iron Dome, the country's Defense Minister said on Saturday, contradicting previous comments by Kiev's Ambassador to "Israel".

Ukrainian Ambassador to "Israel" Yevgen Korniychuk stated in June that Kiev wishes to purchase "Israel's" Iron Dome air security system. "We need Israeli assistance… I mean military-technical support; we need Iron Dome… that will allow us to save our civilian women and children from Russian missile shelling on our territory," he said at the time.

On Saturday though, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov told a Forbes summit that the Iron Dome would not be suitable for Ukraine.

"We all know the example of Israel, which protects the sky quite well. We all know the name Iron Dome, but even it does not give 100% protection. In fact, I’ve been to Israel and talked to their manufacturers and state enterprises," Reznikov said. "Iron Dome was built [for protection] against slow, low-altitude, low-impact missiles that were basically made in garages. Iron Dome does not protect against cruise and ballistic missiles."

Last month, Yevhen Korniychuk, Ukraine's Ambassador to "Israel" held a press conference to express his disappointment with "Israel's" lackluster military aid to his country.

According to "Israel" Hayom, Korniychuk said he was disappointed with the lack of Israeli mobilization to aid his country, adding that what Ukraine needs most "is missile systems."

The Ambassador further explained that Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelensky, is disappointed with "Israel's" actions.

"Israel likes to be proud that one of your own, a Jew, has become one of the most popular leaders in the world, President Zelensky, but I can tell you that in private circles he is disappointed with 'Israel' because his expectations for Israeli mobilization were much higher," Korniychuk clarified.

Newly unearthed text messages from Hunter’s “Laptop From Hell,” reveal that he and Jill intensely dislike one another… and it appears to go far beyond Hunter being an angry “crackhead.”

It seems there is no love lost between Hunter and his stepmother, Jill.

The Sun reported that in one text to his late brother Beau’s widow, Hallie, – with whom he was romantically involved at the time – Hunter referred to Jill as a “selfish silly entitled c**t.”

He also admitted he had told the now-First Lady to “go f**k yourself” and ridiculed her teaching skills during an argument just after Christmas in 2018.

The bitter showdown came as Hunter’s penchant for crack cocaine and wild sex sessions with call girls was reportedly spiraling out of control.

Text messages appear to show that Jill, 71, supported Hallie, 47, in pushing for him to seek inpatient rehab treatment.

Most of the texts were found on a bombshell Apple iPhone backup found on Hunter’s infamous “laptop from hell.”

They were handed to The Sun by Marco Polo, an organization led by a former White House staffer, which is investigating the laptop.

Exchanging texts with his Uncle Jimmy Biden on December 29, Hunter told how Jill, Hallie, and Hunter’s half-sister, Ashley, 41, had tried to convince Joe, 79, that his son was “in real danger zone” and “a threat to myself and others.”

After proposing that he would stay near his uncle in Pennsylvania and teach, Hunter claimed that Jill rolled her eyes and told him: “Well you’re not going to be doing anything at all for yourself or your family if you just refuse to get sober.”

Raging against her reaction in a further text message to his uncle, Hunter – a graduate of Yale Law School – said he told English teacher Jill he was smarter than her.

He said: “I said Yang ow [you know] what mom you’re a f**king moron. A vindictive moron.

“I suooorted [supported] my GM family including some of the costs you should have used your salary to lay [pay] for – for the last 24 years.

“And you do know the drunkest I’ve ever been is still smarter than you could ever even comprehend and you’re a shut (sic) grammar teacher that wouldn’t survive one class in a ivy graduate program.

“So go f**k yourself Jill let’s all agree I don’t like you anymore than you like me.”

That last line says it all, doesn’t it?

The things Hunter said about Jill are harsh, but they could be written off as the ramblings of a crack addict… but that last line gives us a peek into what’s really happening here… they don’t like one another, and everything else appears to result from that root issue.

Clearly, these two have had a torrid and unhealthy relationship.

What a mess this family is… and if they can’t manage themselves, what makes anyone think they can manage the US?
