Netanyahu’s corruption trial delayed over ‘food poisoning’

The Israeli prime minister’s next hearing is not expected before September due to court recess

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will miss scheduled corruption hearings this week after being diagnosed with food poisoning, his office said on Sunday.

The trial began in 2020 and involves charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust over allegations of influence peddling and accepting gifts. Netanyahu denies any wrongdoing, describing the case as a politically motivated campaign against him.

According to officials, the 75-year-old prime minister fell ill overnight and was examined at home by his doctor. He was diagnosed with intestinal inflammation from eating “spoiled food” and is receiving intravenous fluids for dehydration. His condition was described as good.

“In accordance with his doctors’ instructions, the prime minister will rest at home for the next three days and will conduct state affairs from there,” the Prime Minister’s Office stated. He also missed Sunday’s weekly cabinet meeting due to the illness.

Netanyahu’s lawyer, Amit Hadad, requested the postponement, which the State Attorney’s Office accepted, proposing testimony later in the week. The court, however, canceled all sessions, and with summer recess starting, the next hearing is not expected before September 5.

The hearings have faced a number of delays due to Netanyahu’s health issues, Israel’s wars with Hamas and Iran, and diplomatic travel, according to Israeli media. In December 2024, he missed a session following a urinary tract infection caused by an enlarged prostate and reportedly underwent surgery.

Last month, US President Donald Trump called for the proceedings be canceled, labeling the case a “witch hunt.” Earlier in June, the US joined Israel’s strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, claiming that Tehran was nearing the completion of a nuclear bomb. Iran denied the allegations and retaliated with attacks on Israel and a US base in Qatar.

Russian media shows ‘largest drone assembly plant in the world’ (VIDEO)

Built from scratch, the Alabuga plant produces thousands of Geran kamikaze UAVs, Zvezda reports

Russian TV channel Zvezda has offered a rare peek into what it describes as the “largest drone assembly plant in the world” in the central part of the country, which produces thousands of drones to be used in the Ukraine conflict.

The report which aired on Sunday shows a vast drone manufacturing facility in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan Region, more than 1,200km from the front line.

The plant focuses on producing Geran drones, described by Zvezda as “simple, cheap, and… mass-produced,” and highly accurate.Footage from the facility shows long rows of Geran airframes slightly taller than the height of an average person.

Timur Shagivaleev, the general director of Alabuga, said the current output has far exceeded initial expectations. “At one time there was a plan to produce several thousand Gerans.Right now, we are producing nine times more than the original plan,” he stated, without specifying the timeframe.

The Geran is a long-range loitering munition with a delta-wing design and rear-mounted pusher propeller. It can carry an explosive payload of 40-50kg, has a cruising speed of around 180kph, and can travel over 1,000km on a single mission.

Most of the workforce at the plant are young people, many of whom come from a nearby college, which was set up by those who organized the Geran production, according to the report.

Zvezda said the plant was built from the ground up within the Alabuga economic zone. Before the escalation of the Ukraine conflict, it focused on attracting international technology and building import-substitution capabilities.

The report also featured a facility that assembles lighter reconnaissance and strike UAVs. Many of these drones are equipped with fiber-optic cables to withstand electronic jamming.

Russia has used mass-produced drones extensively in Ukraine to target expensive Western-supplied armored vehicles, troop concentrations, and military-related facilities, with Ukrainian officials saying recent strikes involved hundreds of drones.

Moscow maintains that it never targets civilians and that the drone strikes are a response to Kiev’s attacks on residential areas and critical infrastructure in Russia.

Russia Allegedly Downs Ukrainian Airborne Drone Carrier Over Occupied Kherson

Russian forces have released video footage they claim shows the interception of a Ukrainian drone carrier aircraft over Russian-occupied Kherson region.

The footage—shared by pro-Kremlin military channels—depicts what appears to be a Russian drone engaging and destroying a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), according to Defense Blog on July 21.

Russian sources allege the downed UAV was a specialized system designed to operate as an airborne launch platform and signal repeater for multiple First-Person View (FPV) attack drones.

The Ukrainian aircraft reportedly served as a mobile carrier and communication relay, allowing FPV drones to carry out long-range strikes against Russian positions, including in areas where ground-based control links are disrupted or unavailable.

Defense analysts have previously observed Ukraine’s increasing reliance on such “mother ship” UAVs to expand the operational range of its drone forces.

These systems enable coordinated attacks and reconnaissance missions across contested airspace, enhancing Ukraine’s ability to penetrate Russian air defenses without direct line-of-sight control.

Ukraine is actively advancing its drone warfare capabilities with the development of so-called “mother drones”—large unmanned aerial vehicles designed to transport and launch explosive-equipped FPV drones deep behind enemy lines.

These aircraft act as airborne drone carriers, enabling Ukrainian forces to strike targets that are otherwise out of reach for ground-launched systems.

A recently surfaced video shows one such UAV releasing multiple FPV drones mid-flight, suggesting a scalable, mobile platform capable of bypassing frontline electronic warfare and air defense systems.

Each mother drone can reportedly carry up to six FPV drones mounted beneath its wings. By flying at high altitudes and entering contested airspace, these UAVs can deploy their payload far beyond the operational range of individual FPV drones.

This allows Ukrainian forces to target equipment and personnel located 10–30 kilometers behind Russian lines—positions typically protected by electronic jamming or situated out of range for conventional drone launches.

Once dropped, the FPV drones switch to direct attack mode, engaging targets with high precision.

Earlier, Ukrainian warfare expert Sergii “Flash” Beskrestnov reported that Russian forces have adopted Ukrainian-style anti-drone tactics, significantly increasing the downing of Ukrainian reconnaissance UAVs.

The Russian “Rubicon” unit, credited with deploying these methods, is now training other units, prompting concerns over Ukraine’s lack of timely countermeasures and the growing presence of compact 3D radars—possibly of Chinese origin—along the front line.

Kurdish armed group blames Iran for deadly Sulaimani drone attack

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Eastern Kurdistan Units (YRK) on Sunday accused Iran of carrying out a deadly drone strike in eastern Sulaimani province’s Penjwen district, killing one of its fighters.

Local officials on Saturday said the drone was Turkish. Ankara has not commented on the incident.

“This attack was carried out by Iran against our forces,” read a statement from the YRK, the armed wing of the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK).

It said suicide “suicide drone” killed a fighter identified as Simko Kobane.

PJAK is an Iran-based armed group widely believed to be an offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The latter group declared a unilateral ceasefire and on July 11 had a ceremonial disarmament where 30 fighters, including commanders, burned their weapons.

On May 12, the PKK announced its dissolution and intention to disarm after being urged to do so by their founder, Abdullah Ocalan, who said it was time to take the struggle for Kurdish rights in Turkey into the political sphere.

However, PJAK has said it would continue its armed struggle against Tehran despite PKK’s decision to dissolve itself, saying Ocalan’s decision does not include them.

“We, as the forces of Eastern Kurdistan [western Iran], will not remain defenseless against these types of attacks and will defend ourselves to the end within the framework of our legitimate rights.

We do not attack anyone in any way, but we always defend ourselves,” the group added.

PJAK operates from bases in the Kurdistan Region’s Mount Qandil, where the PKK is also headquartered. The group has clashed with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and is banned in Iran.

Several Iranian-Kurdish opposition groups, including PJAK, the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI), Komala, and the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK), have been relocated away from the Iran-Kurdistan Region border as part of a 2023 security agreement between Baghdad and Tehran.

Iran has frequently targeted these groups with cross-border strikes, accusing them of inciting unrest inside its borders.

Which Iranian crypto exchange got hacked in June 2025?

Iran-based crypto exchange Nobitex suffered a hack on June 18. Pro-Israel hacker group Gonjeshke Darande claimed responsibility for the $81-million crypto theft.

Blockchain security analyst ZachXBT alerted the community within the same day of the attack. According to the analyst, hackers exploited a hot wallet failure in the crypto exchange to access and drain wallets.

Meanwhile, pro-Israel hacker group Gonjeshke Darande (Predatory Sparrow) claimed responsibility for the attack through its social media accounts.

For those following up on current events, the hack may seem more than just another crypto attack and possibly tied to the Israel-Iran conflict. And that assumption has some merit.

I’ve also seen how dangerous they are when left unregulated; they become liabilities, capable of disruption, destruction and danger.

Just days ago, amid deadly flash floods in Texas, a private drone collided with a rescue helicopter during an active life-saving mission. The crash forced the crew to land, grounding a critical asset in the middle of an unfolding emergency.

In the chaos of unspeakable tragedy, a single uncoordinated drone put lives at risk and halted the very efforts meant to save them. Incidents like this are entirely preventable with proper airspace coordination.

In the first quarter of this year, the FAA reported over 400 illegal drone incursions near U.S. airports, which is a 25% increase from the same period in 2024.

Drone incursions into U.S. military airspace have reached unprecedented levels, and the trend is only accelerating.

At military bases across the country, 350 unauthorized drone flights were recorded last year alone. These aren’t harmless mistakes. They are persistent, coordinated, and, in some cases, hostile.

These incidents are not isolated; they’re escalating. Drones have been used to smuggle contraband into prisons, surveil energy facilities and ports, and even collide with manned aircraft, narrowly avoiding catastrophe.

As drones become faster, cheaper and easier to operate, our systems for detecting, coordinating, and responding remain fractured, outdated, and dangerously inadequate.

From commercial airliners and emergency helicopters to power grids and correctional facilities, these vulnerabilities cut across every critical sector.

Without stronger detection, clear enforcement authority, and a unified approach to managing airspace, the risk will only grow. This is no longer a question of if these gaps will be exploited, but when, how often, and at what cost.

The root of the problem is not technological. The solutions exist today. What we lack is a national framework, a unified, real-time system to track, manage and respond to low-altitude air traffic.

We need a flight information exchange that allows law enforcement, regulators, and operators to see what’s flying, where it is, and who is responsible.

We need cryptographically secure digital credentials that link drones, their pilots and their missions to prevent spoofing. And we need Remote ID signals that can’t be manipulated.

Right now, too many decisions depend on disconnected sensors, slow approvals and guesswork. We must fuse radar, RF and acoustic data into a single surveillance picture.

The FAA needs to publish a national mission-priority table to ensure emergency flights aren’t delayed or grounded.

Most urgently, Congress must expand counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems authority to include local law enforcement before the current federal authority sunsets this September.

The technology is ready. The risks are growing. We no longer have the luxury of delay. It’s time for Congress, regulators and industry to act together before these threats escalate into disasters.

We can protect our skies before the next drone incident becomes a national tragedy.

"Effective Immediately": Shipping Line Suspends EV Cargo Due To Lithium Battery Fire Concerns

U.S. shipping and navigation services company Matson surprised customers in recent days by announcing new policies that halt all electric vehicle shipments due to the fire risk posed by lithium-ion batteries. This comes after the Morning Midas—a RoRo carrier transporting EVs and hybrids—erupted in flames early last month in the Pacific and subsequently sank.

Shipping news website The Maritime Executive reports that Matson abruptly suspended the transport of EVs and plug-in hybrids, citing growing safety concerns over lithium-ion battery fires in a letter to clients. The new shipping policy took effect immediately and impacts trade routes across the U.S. mainland, Hawaii, Alaska, and Guam.

"Due to increasing concern for the safety of transporting vehicles powered by large lithium-ion batteries, Matson is suspending acceptance of used or new electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles for transport aboard its vessels. Effective immediately, we have ceased accepting new bookings for these shipments to/from all trades," the letter stated.

There was no definitive timeframe for when Matson plans to resume shipping EVs, but the company noted that it will do so once all appropriate safety solutions are in place.

The letter said, "Matson continues to support industry efforts to develop comprehensive standards and procedures to address fire risk posed by lithium-ion batteries at sea and plans to resume acceptance of them when appropriate safety solutions that meet our requirements can be implemented."

The letter comes after the Morning Midas sank in the Pacific Ocean in early June following a fire on the ship. Cargo consisted of 70 EVs and nearly 700 hybrids.

Aerial reconnaissance imagery published on X showed white smoke billowing from Morning Midas' stern section.

The incident mirrors the 2023 disaster off the Dutch coast, when a RoRo vessel carrying 3,000 vehicles—including 500 EVs—erupted in flames, raising global concerns over the fire risks while transporting EVs at sea.

"Matson continues to transport conventional cars. It offers the service both trans-ocean and also moves the containers interisland in Hawaii as part of its barge service," The Maritime Executive said.

Insurance giant Allianz has repeatedly warned about the importance of enhanced safety protocols for maritime shipments involving lithium-ion batteries, citing the global surge in green technology—much of it produced by Chinese manufacturers.

The 39-year-old model says she saw "rectangle lights" zooming in the sky as she drove down the A3 - which connects London and Portsmouth.

Abbey told her husband, ex-footballer Peter Crouch, 44, on their The Therapy Crouch podcast: "I have all these UFO people contacting me going, 'You did see it, it's not a figure of your imagination.'

Local history: UFO investigator kept eyes on the skies

The truth was out there. Maybe way out there.

Long before FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully began investigating “The X-Files” on television, an Akron schoolteacher searched for proof of unidentified flying objects.

Americo Candusso, also known as Amerigo, served for decades as chairman of the Flying Saucer Investigating Committee, an Akron group that researched UFO sightings across Northeast Ohio.

“One of these days, the truth is going to come out,” he vowed.

First UFO sighting in Alliance

Ever since he could remember, he had watched the sky. He was born in Italy in 1922, emigrated as a child with his parents Remigio and Antonia Candusso, and grew up in Alliance with his little brother, Ermes.

As a kid, Candusso liked to read science fiction, which he later acknowledged “lit a spark in me.” He saw his first UFO at age 10 during recess at Alliance’s Liberty Elementary School in the 1930s.

“It was a white ball of light, very brilliant, like a star,” he recalled. “It was moving.”

When he pointed out the strange object to a teacher, the unimpressed instructor ordered him back into the classroom. It wouldn’t be the last time that Candusso questioned authority.

During World War II, he served as a weather observer for the U.S. Army Air Forces in North Africa, typing reports on an encryption machine. He heard pilots talking about strange encounters with unidentified aircraft that they called “foo fighters.”

The mystery deepened for him. For the rest of his life, he gathered clues. “I guess I’ve just been driven by an urge to find out,” he said.

Strange objects in the sky

Candusso earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Mount Union, and bachelor’s degrees in education and chemistry from the University of Akron. He lived in Cuyahoga Falls and taught science at Akron’s Robinson School and later Harris School.

About 1956, he joined Akron’s Unidentified Flying Objects Research Committee, a group formed by George Popowitch to study UFO reports. Coincidentally or not, Candusso experienced additional sightings over the next few years.

About 10:45 p.m. April 6, 1959, Candusso was driving with a date in Twinsburg when they noticed a bluish-white light in the sky near Route 91. The cigar-shaped object, which appeared to be traveling northwest 1,000 to 1,500 off the ground, suddenly circled back and briefly hovered over his car before flying away, he reported.

Around 9:30 p.m. May 27, 1959, he was driving alone in Stow when he saw two reddish-orange objects flitting in the sky about 3,000 feet up after a thunderstorm. The brick-shaped objects pulsated and seemed to interact with each other before disappearing.

Shortly after midnight June 20, 1960, Candusso was driving at Steels Corners and Wyoga Lake roads in Stow when he saw an elongated object that appeared to be “two bands of horizontal lights, red, green and white — all sparks.” Much to the teacher’s surprise, four other aerial objects emerged from the clouds and darted around before disappearing over the northern horizon.

“I’ve never been able to explain what I saw,” he said.

“Many of the original faxes I have are no longer viewable as they simply faded with time despite being files away in the dark.

“To this day people argue about the authenticity of this film and I dare say they will for years to come. There is no doubt that it is a hoax.”

The Roswell incident relates to the alleged recovery of debris from a UFO in the city of Roswell, New Mexico, US, in 1947.

Israel Pummels Hodeidah Port, Says 'Yemen's Fate - The Same As Tehran'

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out large-scale strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen on Monday, in order to halt missile fire targeting Israel and tankers bound for Israeli ports traversing the Red Sea. At one point he said in his statement, "As I have made clear — Yemen's fate will be the same as Tehran."

According to the IDF, the operation targeted and destroyed military infrastructure belonging to the Houthi forces at the port of Hodeidah, including engineering equipment used to rebuild port facilities, fuel tanks, and naval vessels involved in military operations against Israel. The IDF also struck boats in nearby waters said to be linked to Houthi operations.

"The IDF has identified the continuous efforts and actions of the Houthi terrorist regime to reestablish terrorist infrastructure at the port, and as such, the components used to advance these efforts were struck," the IDF said.

"The Houthi terrorist regime exploits the maritime zone for the use of force and to carry out terrorist attacks against passing vessels and global maritime trade. The targets struck demonstrate how the Houthi terrorist regime utilizes civilian infrastructure for military and terrorist purposes."

And Defense Minister Katz announced separately, "The IDF is now attacking terrorist targets of the Houthi terrorist regime in the port of Hodeidah and is vigorously enforcing any attempt to restore the terrorist infrastructures that were attacked in the past. As I have made clear – Yemen’s law is Tehran’s law."

He followed by threatening there could be more to come: "The Houthis will pay a heavy price for firing missiles at the State of Israel. We will continue to act at all times and in all places to defend the State of Israel," the defense chief said.

The last significant Israeli aerial attacks occurred on July 7. But these operations aren't shutting down Houthi aggression against Israel. This latest strike operation appears to have primarily been done through drones.

Still, the Houthis remain committed to attacking Israel so long as the IDF is operating in the Gaza Strip. Israeli media reports say there have been at least six Houthi ballistic missiles as well as several drones launched on Israel since the last IDF strikes of early July.

President Trump reposted a fake video showing former President Barack Obama being arrested in the Oval Office, as Trump administration officials continue to accuse Mr. Obama of trying to harm Mr. Trump’s campaign during the 2016 election, and the president seeks to redirect conversation from the Epstein files.

The short video, which appears to have been generated by artificial intelligence and posted on TikTok before being reposted on Mr. Trump’s Truth Social account on Sunday, comes days after the Office of the Director of National Intelligence issued the latest in a series of reports from the Trump administration trying to undermine the eight-year-old assessment that Russia favored the election of Mr. Trump.

The video appears to be manipulated footage of an Oval Office meeting that took place in November 2016 between Mr. Obama, then the president, and Mr. Trump, who days earlier had defeated Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee, in the election.

The fake video purports to show F.B.I. agents bursting into the meeting, pushing Mr. Obama into a kneeling position and putting him in handcuffs as Mr. Trump looks on smiling, while the song “Y.M.C.A.” by the Village People plays. Later, the fake video shows Mr. Obama in an orange jumpsuit pacing in a cell. The start of the video shows a compilation of actual footage of Democratic leaders, including Mr. Obama and former President Joseph R. Biden Jr., saying, “no one is above the law.”

Mr. Obama’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the video.

Mr. Trump regularly reposts A.I.-generated or mocked-up videos and photographs on his Truth Social account.

Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, said last week that the latest report released by her offices showed a “treasonous conspiracy in 2016” by top Obama administration officials to harm Mr. Trump. She said she would make a criminal referral to the F.B.I. based on recently released documents.

A link to real video footage from an interview that Ms. Gabbard gave to Fox News on Sunday on the subject was also posted to Mr. Trump’s social media.

Democrats have denounced the administration’s effort to discredit Mr. Obama as politically motivated and riddled with errors, and contradicting previous reviews of the assessment.

Internal emails released on Friday by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard reveal that after former President Barack Obama ordered an intelligence assessment of Russia’s election influence, a top official in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence scuttled the release of an already-completed intelligence report that concluded Russian had not hacked the 2016 presidential election.

On Friday, Director Gabbard released newly declassified documents, including scores of emails related to a 7-page draft President’s Daily Brief or PDB. That draft PDB, dated December 8, 2016, concluded, “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.” But hours before the planned publication of the PDB, the ODNI’s deputy director pulled the report, purportedly due to “some new guidance.”

However, the email threads declassified last week indicate the ODNI instead buried the PDB to provide the intelligence community cover to issue a contrary assessment concerning Russia’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 election — and did so, against the recommendations of a wide array of intelligence professionals.

Specifically, on Thursday, December 8, 2016, the “Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Cyber Issues” for ODNI responded to an earlier email from the Deputy Director of ODNI concerning the publication of the PDB. “The room’s thoughts (EEMC, NIO Russia, CTIIC, NSA, FBI, CCI) were that it was worth going ahead with the pdb if possible now to provide our current understanding of what happened during the election, and that worst case the ICA has some language and an associated briefer note explaining any changes between the products.”

So, according to a high-level ODNI intelligence officer, representatives from the Europe Eurasia Mission Center (EEMC), National Intelligence Officer(s) (NIO) for Russia, the Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center (CTIIC), the National Security Agency (NSA), the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and the Center for Cyber Intelligence (CCI), believed the PDB should go forward “to provide our current understanding of what happened during the election, . . . ”

That email came in response to an email the Deputy Director of ODNI had sent out late in the afternoon on December 7, 2016, suggesting the PDB be distributed at the same time as the ICA report “to make sure they have the same bottom lines.”

In response, not only did the ODNI intelligence officer stress that the “room” of analysts believed the PDB should go forward, but he (or she) also stressed that “the ICA probably won’t be done until mid-January,” adding “[w]e are tentatively shooting for 9 January to send a possibly draft, possibly final, version to POTUS.”

The email thread Gabbard released did not include a response from the deputy director of the ODNI. However, another email thread established that as of the afternoon of Thursday, December 8, 2016, analysts planned to publish the PDB on Friday due to “high administration interest.” And just the day before, the ODNI had drafted talking points regarding the PDB, including that “[f]oreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the US Presidential election outcome” and that “[w]e have no evidence of cyber manipulation of election infrastructure intended to alter results.”

But then at 3:48 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016, the FBI emailed other members of the intelligence team that the “FBI will be drafting a dissent this afternoon” to the PDB. “Please remove our seal an annotations of co-authorship,” the email from the FBI concluded.

The FBI’s email caught the DHS officer responsible for coordinating the publication of the PDB by surprise, with the analyst responding at 4:32 p.m. that “[u]ntil receiving the email below, the only difference that I was aware of between FBI and [DHS’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis] over this transparently developed product was over confidence level on the attribution, which we have adjusted (to the FBI’s view) upon review of the recent redacted collection.” “Rather than drafting a dissent,” the DHS email continued, the “FBI could share their concerns with the most recent draft (attached).”

A 4:47 p.m. email from the FBI — possibly from a different agent — said the bureau would “take a closer look at it tomorrow.”

Remnants. Thats what we are; that’s even what some of us call ourselves. Remainders. Leftovers. Residue. The stub of the cigar of the fake Russiagate scandal, left to smoke and shrink away in the overfull ashtray of national shame.

We Russia hoax Remnants feel differentlyabout President Donald Trump’s recent landslide victory, and our expectations are diverse. But we all, to some degree, have similar stories and hopes —not for retribution, as delicious as that may be,but for accountability and reform.

And Kash Patel, President Trump’s pick to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is the man we need. Like the President elect, he has seen this abuse up close. They are uniquely qualified.

Make no mistake, when we all chose politics as a profession, we knew it was bloodsport.But none of us expected the personal tollthat impacted not just careers, but health and families —especially our children.

There are many families like my own, destroyed completelyby the Democrats’ illegal zeal to Get Trump at any cost. During Russiagate and the subsequent hoaxes, I screamed at the top of my lungs on television several times each week as my wife and daughters lived in fear in our Buffalo-area home.

Most Remnants stayed silent. They were the smart ones.

Those subjects of the bogus Russian collusion investigationsare quietly reassembling their lives today. Just six or seven years ago, some pulled their children from school, bullied by students and teachers alike.

Both parents in at least one family were fired, and with no money for tuition their son was forced to drop out of the college he worked tirelessly to attend. I don’t think he ever returned.

These Remnant stories are commonplace. Many familieslost their homes; most lost their life savings. I know of older targets living on meager pensions now that their bank accounts weredrained by lawfare legal fees. Those still working are earning less than half the income of their peers.

One family left the country, disheartened by what America had become. Another man, once an international business success, was wrongly debased and finally diminished to serve in a bureaucracy.

Then there is the death and near deaths, the suicide attempts readers will never know, the illnesses brought on by stress. When I fell with head and neck cancer, another Remnant struck by the disease called me twice a week to share our battles. After several months, his calls stopped.

My colleague had finally succumbed to the Crossfire Hurricane plague, unfathomable stress that drives cancer. Readers don’t even know his name; his wife and two young children know he was a hero.

He did nothing wrong. He was a Remnant.

The mentally ill, weaponized by brazen Democrat lies, harassed nearly all of us. My frequent media appearances made me more recognizable than the smarter, quieter Remnants. That made my family a target of a local retired mailman who was arrested and prosecuted for harassment.

Massive Hack Targets Microsoft SharePoint Vulnerability

A significant zero-day attack targeting a previously unknown vulnerability in Microsoft’s widely used SharePoint software has hit government agencies, universities, energy companies, and businesses around the world.

The Washington Post reports that in a worrying development for global cybersecurity, unknown hackers have exploited a critical flaw in Microsoft’s SharePoint collaboration software, launching a far-reaching attack that has breached U.S. federal and state agencies, universities, energy companies, and an Asian telecommunications company. The attack, which began in the past few days, is being investigated by the U.S. government in partnership with Canada and Australia.

SharePoint, a platform used by organizations worldwide to manage and share documents, has tens of thousands of servers at risk. Researchers have also noted that the attackers have obtained keys that may allow them to regain entry even after systems are patched, further complicating the response to the incident.

The identity and ultimate goal of the hackers remain unclear at this stage. My youngest daughters, just five and seven years old at the time, were often harassed while playing in our front yard. A local elderly woman, an otherwise benign community museum volunteer, posted dozens of times on social media during her daily walks by our house, including photos showing our address. She screamed at my girls and mocked their safety.

The bitter old lady died recently and the nutty mailman is still creeping around. Our family prays for their souls because, like all the Remnants,we know the banality of evil. Unhinged activists, some neighbors, forced us to leave our beloved hometown forever. We miss it every day — especially after a big, beautiful Buffalo snowfall.

It’s worse for some, like Paul Manafort, Carter Page, and the inimitable Roger Stone. Last year Roger and I had a late lunch a few miles from his home. Out of nowhere, an Antifa activist showed up to threaten him in the empty restaurant. Clearly, these pongos are still tracking Roger closely. He did nothing wrong, yet I still fear for his safety.

I have talked to many of the Remnants since Election Day. Some have high hopes;these patriots still believe in our justice system. Others expect nothing at all after seeing enough corruption to believe justice is dead.Most are somewhere in between.

All of us agree the original Russiagate conspiracy continues even today. The Russia hoax was created by Hillary Clinton aide Jake Sullivan, who carries on with his lies today as President Joe Biden’s national security advisor. Christopher Steele, the British spy hired by Clinton to create the dodgy dossier, and his Fusion GPS co-conspirator Glenn Simpson are still doing the same work for similar clients. Andrew Weissmann, Peter Strzok, John Brennan, and morestill peddle their lies. Elements of the original conspiracy were woven into Ukrainian meddling in the 2016 American election, then bogus Trump impeachments, January 6th prosecutions, anti-Trump lawfare, and Special Counsel Jack Smith’s Mar-a-lago raid.

FBI Director Patel can provethe original 2016 conspiracy continues today. Much of the evidence remains in federal and public databases. Preemptive pardons aside, that means Sullivan, Weissmann, Mary McCord, Steele, Simpson, Victoria Nuland, Alexander Vindman, Eric Ciaramella, Smith, and others may still be in the jackpot.

We agree with attorney Mike Davis: these perpetrators potentially violated 18 U.S.C. § 241 and 242, federal civil rights statutes that prohibit conspiracies to violate the rights of others.

This is where many Remnants stand:please do not forget the families in the ash tray and simply move on. Investigate the perpetrators now, reach back to the beginning of their Russiagate criminal conspiracy and follow it to today.Prosecute them fully and legally; expose how they illegally crushed us.

But do this only in pursuit of true justice — not for retribution, but for accountability and reform.

Iran Calls for ‘War Crimes’ Trial Against U.K., Germany, France for Supporting Israel

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi suggested in a letter to senior United Nations leaders that the heads of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom “be held to account in international criminal tribunals as defendants for complicity in war crimes” for their support of Israel, Iranian media reported on Monday.

Araghchi made the outlandish suggestion as part of a larger argument that the European states should not reimpose sanctions on Tehran in response to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) finding the country in breach of its international legal obligations. IAEA chief Rafael Grossi revealed in June that the agency had evidence that Iran was running illicit uranium enrichment facilities and tried to “sanitize” them when the IAEA sent inspectors, leading to the formal rebuke from the U.N. agency.

Iran banned cooperation with the IAEA in early July following American and Israeli military activity against its illicit nuclear program.

The Iranian government has scheduled talks with the foreign ministers of Britain, France, and Germany for Friday to discuss the potential return of United Nations sanctions lifted following the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), or Iran nuclear deal. The talks this week are expected to take place in Istanbul, Turkey, and feature the deputy foreign ministers of all four countries.

The deal, brokered by former President Barack Obama, also included the three European parties, as well as China and Russia, as partners. The United States withdrew from the JCPOA in 2018 under President Donald Trump, who stated that Iran’s repeated violations of the agreement made remaining in it untenable.

Following the IAEA accusations and Iran’s repeated threats against its neighbor Israel, the three European powers, sometimes referred to in the context of the JCPOA as the “E3,” warned that they would support the “snapback” of U.N. sanctions by August 1 if Iran does not broker a new agreement under the framework of the nuclear deal by that deadline. In anticipation of the deadline, Araghchi wrote to U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and several over top U.N. officials. The letter, revealed by the Iranian state propaganda outlet PressTV on Monday, declares the E3 to have no “legal, political, or moral standing” to demand that the United Nations reimpose sanctions. Araghchi cited support from European leaders for Israel’s “Operation Rising Lion,” a military operation in response to the IAEA rebuke intended to erode Iran’s ability to attack Israel, as proof of “bad faith conduct.”

“Statements of the European Union constitute a clear manifestation of bad faith conduct aimed at depriving the Islamic Republic of Iran of its rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty,” Araghchi wrote. “Attempting to trigger ‘snapback’ under these circumstances… constitutes an abuse of process.”
