A Domestic Insurgency Has Erupted – President Trump Sending Tom Homan to Minneapolis

The violence in Minneapolis erupted when the scale of financial fraud was discovered. The administration of President Trump has begun to highlight this non-pretending reality.

On the surface it seems like ICE enforcement is the issue; however, in reality Governor Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey have been leading a criminal syndicate, with the entire region engaged in money laundering and financial fraud.

State political leadership are involved. The local Minneapolis police are involved; the Minneapolis municipal leaders are involved; a large and dedicated segment of the migrant population is involved; corrupt judges and officers of the courts are involved; public and private sector agencies involved in fraudulent exploitation of benefits are involved, and the community activists -footsoldier communists- are engaged in the process of using civil unrest as cover.

As the violent insurgency escalates, President Trump has announced Border Czar Tom Homan is being sent to the region:

Signal groups at 1,000-member cap per zone. Dedicated roles: mobile chasers, plate checkers logging vehicle data into shared databases, 24/7 dispatch nodes vectoring assets, SALUTE-style reporting (Size, Activity, Location, Unit, Time, Equipment) on suspected federal vehicles. Daily chat rotations and timed deletions to frustrate forensic recovery. Vetting processes for new joiners. Mutual aid from sympathetic locals (teachers providing cover, possible PD tip-offs on license plate lookups). Home-base coordination points. Rapid escalation from observation to physical obstruction—or worse.

This isn’t spontaneous outrage. This is C2 (command and control) with redundancy, OPSEC hygiene, and task organization that would make a SF team sergeant nod in recognition. Replace “ICE agents” with “occupying coalition forces” and the structure maps almost 1:1 to early-stage urban cells we hunted in the mid-2000s.

The most sobering part? It’s domestic. Funded, trained (somewhere), and directed by people who live in the same country they’re trying to paralyze law enforcement in.

I spent years training partner forces to dismantle exactly this kind of apparatus. Now pieces of it are standing up in American cities, enabled by elements of local government and civil society. That should keep every thinking American awake at night.

Not because I want escalation. But because history shows these things don’t de-escalate on their own once the infrastructure exists and the cadre believe they’re winning the information war.

Sean and Destiny Jackson, the parents of six young children, claimed that as they were on their way home from a basketball game, their vehicle was stopped due to a conflict between protesters and ICE and that their children were trapped inside. They claimed a canister of tear gas bomb was released by ICE underneath the vehicle that traumatized the children and harmed the youngest one. “F**k You Ted!” – Trump Reportedly EXPLODES on Ted Cruz as Texas Senator Trashes Him and VP JD Vance in Alleged Private Recordings

It’s safe to say should Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) run for president in 2028 he will not exactly be welcomed with open arms by the Trump Administration.

According to recordings obtained by Axios, which were leaked to the outlet by a GOP source, Cruz spoke with donors for roughly 10 minutes and delivered some pointed criticisms of both President Trump and Vice-President JD Vance. the recordings were originally made in the first six months of 2025.

Axios reveals that Cruz essentially called Vance a pawn of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in the recording. Cruz, of course, has a long-running feud with Carlson, who he has ripped as an anti-Semite and un-American.

“Tucker created JD. JD is Tucker’s protégé, and they are one and the same,” Cruz told donors.

As for Trump, Cruz slammed the tariffs the president has imposed across the world. The Texas Senator told donors that the imposition of these tariffs would lead to Republicans losing control of Congress and Trump’s impeachment.

When he attempted to call out Trump over the phone, the President grew furious and cursed him out.

“Trump was in a bad mood,” Cruz tells the donors. “I’ve been in conversations where he was very happy. This was not one of them.”

Cruz says he told Trump: “Mr. President, if we get to November of [2026] and people’s 401(k)s are down 30% and prices are up 10–20% at the supermarket, we’re going to go into Election Day, face a bloodbath.”

“You’re going to lose the House, you’re going to lose the Senate, you’re going to spend the next two years being impeached every single week.”

Trump’s response, according to Cruz: “F**k you, Ted!”

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Cruz is poised to run for president in 2028. Such a decision would almost certainly put him in direct competition with Vice-President Vance.

According to Axios, the reason is personal. The outlet has alleged that Cruz would run on a neoconservative foreign policy and anti-Tucker Carlson platform, in contrast to Vance’s more noninterventionist approach.

Should Cruz actually embark on a presidential run, it will end no better than his last one.

Running anti-MAGA, Never-Trump type campaigns simply do not work in GOP primaries.

Booz Allen Shares Hammered After Treasury Cancels Consulting Contracts

Shares of Booz Allen Hamilton tumbled the most in months during late Monday morning trading after U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent canceled dozens of contracts tied to the consulting firm.

Secretary Bessent said 31 contracts with Booz Allen were terminated, representing $4.8 million in annual spending and $21 million in total obligations.

"President Trump has entrusted his cabinet to root out waste, fraud, and abuse, and canceling these contracts is an essential step to increasing Americans' trust in government," he said, adding, "Booz Allen failed to implement adequate safeguards to protect sensitive data, including the confidential taxpayer information it had access to through its contracts with the Internal Revenue Service."

Treasury pointed to an incident with Booz Allen in recent years:

Most notably, between 2018 and 2020, Charles Edward Littlejohn — an employee of Booz Allen Hamilton — stole and leaked the confidential tax returns and return information of hundreds of thousands of taxpayers.

Last spring, Booz Allen said it was undergoing a major restructuring and planned to cut roughly 2,500 jobs, about 7% of its workforce, as President Trump's DOGE efforts reduced government spending by discontinuing federal contracts.

Later in the year, CEO Horacio Rozanski told investors the company was "making the difficult decision to reduce layers and numbers in our senior ranks" due to federal contract reductions and a broader slowdown in government funding.

Shares of Booz Allen are down 7.5% in the cash session this morning, marking the worst single-day decline since October 24, when the stock fell about 9%. Shares have been cut roughly in half since President Trump's November 2024 election victory, as Elon Musk's DOGE initiative began aggressively targeting waste, fraud, and abuse across the federal bureaucracy in early 2025.

EU Countries Give Final Approval to Russian Gas Ban

BRUSSELS, Jan 26 (Reuters) – European Union countries on Monday gave their final approval to ban Russian gas imports by late 2027, making their vow to cut ties with their former top supplier legally binding, nearly four years after Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Ministers from EU countries approved the law at a meeting in Brussels on Monday, although Slovakia and Hungary voted against and Bulgaria abstained.

Hungary said it would challenge the law at the European Court of Justice.

The ban was designed to be approved by a reinforced majority of countries, allowing it to overcome opposition from Hungary and Slovakia, who remain heavily reliant on Russian energy imports and want to maintain close ties with Moscow.

Under the agreement, the EU will halt Russian liquefied natural gas imports by end-2026 and pipeline gas by September 30, 2027.

The law allows that deadline to shift to November 1, 2027, at the latest, if a country is struggling to fill its storage caverns with non-Russian gas ahead of winter.

Russia supplied more than 40% of the EU’s gas before 2022. That share dropped to around 13% in 2025, according to the latest available EU data.

But some EU countries continue to pay Moscow for oil, pipeline gas and liquefied natural gas, contradicting their efforts to support Ukraine and restrict funding to Russia’s wartime economy.

LAW BANS NEW GAS DEALS

Last month, the five biggest EU importers spent 1.4 billion euros ($1.66 billion) on Russian energy, mostly on gas and LNG, data from the non-profit Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air showed. Hungary was the biggest buyer, before France and Belgium.

The EU imposed sanctions on Russian seaborne oil in 2022, but never proposed sanctions on gas imports, which would require unanimous approval from all 27 EU countries.

The EU law prohibits companies from signing new Russian gas deals and will require those with existing contracts to terminate them to comply with the ban.

For existing contracts, imports under short-term deals signed before June 17, 2025, will be banned on April 25, 2026, for LNG, and June 17 for pipeline gas. Long-term contracts must be phased out by the final deadlines.

Companies could face financial penalties of up to 3.5% of total global annual turnover for failure to comply.

The European Commission plans to also propose legislation in the coming months to phase out Russian pipeline oil, and wean countries off Russian nuclear fuel.

URGENT UPDATE: I’ve never experienced anything quite like today in my life. I’ve interacted with the Cartel and have witnessed some crazy things in the desert in ‘24. But what strikes me is how organized these agitators in Minneapolis are. They have spotters everywhere in the city and suburbs, on street corners, even 30 minutes away from downtown. A majority of lawmakers in the Dutch parliament appear ready to back changes to the country’s Box 3 asset tax regime, which would require investors to pay annual tax on both realized and unrealized gains, even if assets have not been sold, NL Times reported on Tuesday.

The plan follows court rulings that struck down the existing system for relying on assumed, rather than actual, returns. The Tweede Kamer (House of Representatives) debated the proposal again this week, with more than 130 questions put to caretaker State Secretary for Taxation Eugène Heijnen.

While many lawmakers acknowledged flaws in the plan, most signaled they would support it, citing an estimated 2.3 billion euros ($2.7 billion) per year in lost revenue if implementation is delayed further.

Jewish billionaire Bill Ackman donated $10,000 to a fundraiser for the family of Alex Pretti, who was fatally shot by immigration agents in Minneapolis over the weekend, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a spokesman for Ackman.

The GoFundMe page that was intended to support Pretti's "loved ones" raised over $1 million as of Monday morning and listed Ackman's donation.

Pretti is the second American to be fatally shot by federal immigration officers this month in Minneapolis, where US President Donald Trump, a Republican, has deployed thousands of armed and masked agents in a deportation effort with little precedent.

Trump told the Wall Street Journal in an interview published on Sunday that his administration was "reviewing everything and will come out with a determination" about the shooting, as officials in his administration defended it even as video evidence contradicted their version of events.

Ackman previously donated $10,000 to a GoFundMe for Jonathan Ross, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer who fatally shot Renee Good, the first Minneapolis shooting victim this month.

The billionaire, however, wrote at the time that he also aimed to support Good's family, "but it was already closed as it had achieved its $1.5 million fundraising objective."

"I was simply continuing my longstanding commitment to assisting those accused of crimes of providing for their defense," Ackman wrote earlier in January.

This is not the first time Ackman has used his influence in support of politically sensitive issues. He gained attention following the October 7 massacre, where he actively combated the rise in antisemitism on college campuses, notably at his alma mater, Harvard University.
