Israel Killed Over a Dozen Lebanese Paramedics in Three Days, Now Claiming That Ambulances Are “Hezbollah” Targets
Among the most targeted groups of Israel’s expanded war on Lebanon have been medical workers. Hezbollah’s Islamic Health Authority has been the hardest hit.
In early October 2025, Lebanese paramedic Haj Qassem Sultan stood outside Marjayoun Government Hospital in southern Lebanon and addressed Lebanese TV.
“Our message is clear. Even if we are killed one by one, we will not abandon our duty,” he said. “We will continue to serve Khiam and Marjayoun and Al-Taybeh and Debbine and all of our sacred land.”
He was attending a memorial for seven of his colleagues who were killed exactly one year earlier in an Israeli airstrike on ambulances parked outside the hospital. Five other paramedics, including Sultan, were wounded in the attack, in what human rights groups said was an apparent war crime.
On Friday, Sultan was killed in another Israeli strike on an Islamic Health Authority (IHA) medical center in Burj Qalaouiyah in southern Lebanon’s Bint Jbeil District. The bombing destroyed the facility, killing 12 people, including on-duty doctors, paramedics, nurses, and three patients.
The majority of the victims worked with the IHA, a healthcare and emergency service provider affiliated with Hezbollah that operates rescue and medical services in Beirut’s southern suburbs and across much of southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.
Sultan “was very loved, very respected,” IHA spokesperson Mahmoud Karaki told Drop Site News. “He was always present among the people. Everyone knew him.”
The day after the attack, Israel doubled down on its attacks on emergency workers with its military spokesperson, claiming without evidence that Hezbollah was making “military use of medical facilities and ambulances” and that occupation forces would target them if they did not cease.
A strike on Monday on a house in Kfar Sir, just north of the Litani River killed one person. When an ambulance from the IHA arrived, a second strike killed two paramedics and wounded another, according to the state-run National News Agency. Two more IHA ambulances were targeted on Monday in separate strikes, killing four more paramedics.
“Some of our personnel have been killed at our medical centers, others while they were out in the field, trying to pull people out from under the rubble,” he said. “The exact place they went to do their rescue work was targeted again once they arrived,” he added, a tactic known as a double tap strike.

Afghanistan has accused Pakistan of conducting an airstrike on a drug rehabilitation facility in Kabul, which Taliban officials said killed at least 400 people.
Pakistan has been striking alleged terrorist camps in Afghanistan since February, accusing the Taliban government of supporting attacks on Pakistani soil. The Taliban has denied any involvement in the string of terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
Taliban government spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat said the strike on Monday evening destroyed large sections of the Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital.
“Unfortunately, the death toll has so far reached 400, while around 250 others have been reported injured,” Fitrat wrote on X.
Pakistan’s Information Ministry rejected the allegations as “false and misleading.”
The ministry said Pakistan targeted military sites and “terrorist support infrastructure,” including ammunition depots in Kabul and Afghanistan’s northeastern Nangarhar region.
“This misreporting of facts as a drug rehabilitation facility seeks to stir public sentiment while covering illegitimate support for cross-border terrorism,” the ministry wrote on X.

Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has ridiculed an initiative launched by Kiev’s EU backers to restart Russian oil flows through the Druzhba pipeline, calling it “blackmail.”
The accusations came after the European Commission last week proposed a fact-finding mission to assess damage to the pipeline in a bid to resolve the dispute. Ukraine shut down the key Soviet-era conduit in late January, claiming the halt was due to damage from a Russian drone strike.
Moscow, however, has denied targeting it, andSlovakia and Hungary have rejected Kiev’s explanation, insisting it was part of a Ukrainian pressure campaign.
In remarks made public on Sunday,Zelensky said he opposes restarting Russian oil shipments, claiming he would be “powerless”if Europe linked approval to Ukraine receiving weapons, and describing such pressure by his “friends in Europe” as “blackmail,” according to Ukrainian media.
In response to Kiev halting supplies through the pipeline, which serves as the key artery for delivering Russian oil to Slovakia and Hungary,Budapest vetoed a €90 billion ($105 billion) EU emergency loan for Ukraine.
On Saturday,Ukraine’s Naftogaz briefed European and G7 ambassadors on “significant damage” to Druzhba, claiming that it “requires time, specialized equipment, and continuous work” to restore the key artery.
Hungary and Slovakia have accused Kiev of lying about Druzhba’s damage, claiming their eastern neighbor had fabricated technical issues to wean them off Russian energy.Both governments say satellite data showed the pipeline was operational while Ukraine blocked independent inspections.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico on Saturday rebuked the EU over its inability to dispatch a fact-finding mission to the pipeline. “A legitimate question must arise as to whose interests are more important for [the EU] – those of Ukraine or those of EU member states,” he said.
The dispute comes as oil prices have topped $100 a barrel in recent days amid global supply disruptions linked to the US and Israeli war with Iran. The crisis has prompted Washington to temporarily ease some sanctions on Russian oil to help cool market pressure.

Son in Law broke his elbow falling from a tractor trailer and after the cast came off, he still got throbbing pain and lost a good portion of mobility. I had some old stuff, which gets more potent over the years, and within 3 days, he had full mobility and the pain never came back.

“The way these hospices are able to enroll these people and collect money from Medicare and Medi-Cal here inside of California is they collect the Medicare numbers from individuals and then sign them up for hospice without them even knowing.
I actually went and spoke with a professional inside of the medical industry to get her opinion on how this all works. We're seeing all these hospices pop up here. Why is hospice and home healthcare such a booming business right now?”
“I think it's become a trend of fraud. Honestly — I heard about this about five years ago during COVID that people were building hospices and selling them. It was like a business — it's an easy way to bill Medicare with their people's beneficiary numbers that people can easily steal and even purchase and buy.
They buy numbers from people and tell them, give me your Medicare beneficiary number and then we will give you something in return — So they'll give you a a Medicare ID number and that number is what's used to bill Medicare.
So essentially if they can get a number from somebody, it's almost like getting a credit card number. And then from there they can continue to bill and bill and bill and get that Medicare money.”
She says getting people’s Medicare numbers is “More valuable than their credit cards numbers”
