Plus, in recent decades, the overwhelming majority of suicide bombings in the region were carried out by Sunni Muslim extremists, not Iran and its Shia allies.
Before the US and Israel launched the war, Vance became one of the leading voices in the administration, making the claim that the coming conflict was about preventing Iran from developing a nuclear bomb, contradicting President Trumpโs insistence that US airstrikes in June 2025 โobliteratedโ Iranโs nuclear program.

If your city/recyclers aren't bitching about all the bad recyclables. They are most likely sending your recyclables to a landfill.
Tipping fees: The cost per ton at a landfill, the cost per ton to recycle.
Example: Landfill $150/ton. Recycle $250/ton
Small print in contracts may stipulate that if the spread is greater than X, go to the landfill.
Or worse yet, charge the recycle rate but send to landfill and split the profits.
This business has been corrupt long time.
Besides, landfills of today are hundreds of times better than they used to be. This article makes landfill sound like a bad thing, it snot.
Recycling needs to be much more rigorous to be effective.
Test my theory. Put non recyclables in your recycle bin and see if anyone says anything. They won't.

Michael Jaeger and Gerald Rhemann photographed the comet (magnitude +7.8) from Weiรenkirchen, Austria: "The comet's brightness has increased significantly in recent weeks," they say. "One week after the full moon in April, it is expected to become visible to the naked eye."
Discovered by the Pan-STARRS survey in Sept. 2025, the comet is diving toward its closest approach to the sun (0.50 AU) on April 19th, bringing it well inside the orbit of Venus. If current trends continue, the comet could brighten to magnitude +2, easily seen and photographed in the pre-dawn sky.
The comet's brightness will receive a further boost on April 24-25 when it passes almost directly between Earth and the sun. The process is called "forward scattering." Sunlight passing through the comet's dusty atmosphere could be amplified 100-fold or more.
We won't be able to see the April 24th surge from Earth. The comet will be too close to the sun. But coronagraphs onboard the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) will have a great view of what could briefly become a truly magnificent object.
