According to Do Rzeczy, his ex-wife, Kamila L., a former Civic Platform activist, was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison for failing to provide assistance to her minor daughter from a previous relationship, who was a victim of rape, and for complicity in animal abuse.

Przemysław Czarnek, the PiS candidate for prime minister, commented on the shocking case and its possible political consequences on Telewizja Republika on Wednesday.

“This is a very serious scandal that will, in my opinion, sink the Civic Platform. I spoke about the Civic Platform and their absolutely scandalous behavior three years ago, when there was a debate on the vote of no confidence in me. And I shouted from the parliamentary podium that these people should be feared, because these people from the Civic Platform, the mayors of cities from the Civic Platform, finance associations and organizations with enormous public funds—over a billion złoty a year—that simply deal with dramatic issues,” said the former Minister of Education and Science.

“I mentioned programs that were simply perverted by their very name,” he added.

As Czarnek pointed out, “this is a community of people who really have a lot going for them, financing these kinds of communities that commit these kinds of shameless, dramatic, criminal, anti-human actions against children, and against animals as well, because we are dealing with zoophilia there as well.”

Politicians from the Civic Coalition also commented on the situation.

“It’s difficult to hold someone accountable; it’s a situation that can happen to anyone. Anyone can have a neighbor like that whom they know nothing about until the police and prosecutors get involved,” one Civic Coalition MP told Wirtualna Polska.

The company’s drones are designed for missions requiring extended flight time of up to 90 minutes and minimal noise, capabilities that have become increasingly valuable in modern military operations, such as in Lebanon and Iran.

The 8-pound (3.6 kilo-) drones can be assembled in under five minutes by operators and securely transmit data in real time to a mobile ground control station up to 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) away.

AeroSentinel’s product line includes a family of four intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) drones of varying sizes. Some models can carry payloads of up to 10 kg, while others are known for their extended endurance.

One of Germany’s biggest and most iconic car manufacturers, Volkswagen (VW) and one of Israel’s most well-known arms manufacturers, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, part of the global Rafael Group, are planning to collaborate. If the project is realized, VW will convert one of its German factories in the historic city of Osnabrueck from making automobiles to producing components of Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system.

There are good reasons why this has raised eyebrows. For one thing, it reflects not only VW’s growing problems, but those of Germany’s vital automobile sector and the German economy as a whole. As the Financial Times has noted, the VW-Rafael project would mark “the highest-profile example yet of the German car industry, where profits have plunged,” trying to save itself by entering the “booming defense sector.”

These plunging profits are due to many factors: Chinese competition; Germany’s failure to keep up with cutting-edge technology, communication infrastructure, and business practices; American sabotage by tariff warfare and filching German companies via subsidies; and last but not least, the horrendous energy costs that the entire EU has inflicted on itself by going to war – by Ukrainian proxy and sanctions – against Russia.

The shift to making things for the military, meanwhile, is just a small part of Germany’s breathtakingly misguided response: Namely, a policy of going into massive public debt – under a so-called conservative – to finance a bizarre form of military Keynesianism that is based on illusions (no, Russia is not about to attack), produces self-reinforcing Russophobia (which makes a return to normality even harder), and won’t work as an economic boost, as even the usually government-aligned Spiegel has admitted.

In short, like a prism, the Osnabrueck plan bundles together many of Germany’s worst – and self-inflicted – problems, and the single silliest idea of how to tackle them.

Yet, there is obviously a whole other dimension to the VW-Rafael project that is even worse: The plan also encapsulates Germany’s complicity with Israel’s crimes, an obstinate policy that is deeply immoral, has twisted Germany’s domestic politics and discourse toward cynical racism, censorship, and authoritarian restrictions on free speech (as a UN report has confirmed), and, moreover, is stupidly shortsighted as well, since it alienates most of the world, and in particular, its rising part in the Global South.

Democrat Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon has bashed the Trump administration over its handling of Epstein files, but documents released last month reveal his own son arranged a business meeting with the convicted pedo.

Seven years after Epstein was released from a Florida prison after pleading guilty to solicitation of prostitution from a minor, Adam Wyden, who founded his own private investment fund, ADW Capital, in 2010, was introduced to the disgraced financier through mutual friend Jonathan Farkas.

“Adam my friend jeffery Epstein who manages 5 billion said to call his office he wants to see your record and would consider investing with you,” Farkas wrote on April 27, 2016.

A message from a redacted email address also helped arrange the meeting, according to a trove of emails released by the Justice Department.

The men decided to huddle the following day at Epstein’s Upper East Side townhouse at 10 a.m., according to the documents.

Wyden gushed in a follow-up message to Epstein after the meeting about his “passion and dedication for my business” while seeking to reel him in as a client.

“I live and breathe this business and take my returns, integrity and reputation quite seriously,” he wrote in the April 2016 message.

He also called them “like minded individuals” and said he ‘would very much look forward to having you join us at the fund.” There are no indications Wyden knew about any illegal Epstein activity or that Epstein became a client.

When contacted by The Post, Adam Wyden, 41, said, “No comment — I’m not interested,” and hung up.

Jonathan Farkas turns up separately in an embarrassing 2017 email exchange asking Epstein to tell him whether a woman he was seeing was “a hooker.”

Farkas’ wife Somers is serving currently as the US ambassador to Malta.

We present a case involving a healthy, young, athletic woman who developed acute

lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) and lymphoblastic lymphoma (LBL) following her

second dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine (Comirnaty®). This case

is part of an expanding body of literature documenting similar occurrences after

modRNA vaccinations, which we critically examine. Emerging evidence suggests that

the biodistribution and persistence of modRNA, facilitated by lipid nanoparticles,

can affect various tissues and organs, including the bone marrow and other bloodforming organs. Notably, modRNA vaccines exhibit a particular affinity for the bone

marrow, potentially influencing the immune system at multiple levels and triggering

both autoimmune disorders and neoplastic processes. In this article, we assess

the risk of developing haematopoietic cancers post-modRNA vaccination based on

current scientific literature and explore the reported potential genetic and molecular

mechanisms involved in disease pathogenesis. By integrating clinical observations and

current research, we aim to provide valuable insights into the potential carcinogenic

outcomes associated with modRNA vaccination.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Saturdaydenied responsibility for a drone attack on the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh on March 3, claiming the attack was carried out by Israel.

The statement came after The Wall Street Journal published a report saying the Iranianattack on the embassy was more damaging than Saudi authorities had acknowledged.

The Journal reported that while the Saudi Defense Ministry had described a limited fire and minor damage,the blaze had in fact burned for hours and caused extensive destruction.

The IRGC condemned the report and claimed the attack “has absolutely nothing to do with the Iranian armed forces,” adding that given Israel’s strategy in the region, it was “certainly carried out by Zionists.”

The statement also warned Muslim countries about what it described as the “Zionist regime’s sedition in the region” and saidit was essential that neighboring countries remain “vigilant against the American-Zionist movement’sseditious intent to destabilise and destroy the region.”

WSJ report details embassy damage

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing U.S. officials, that the drone attack on the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh caused more damage than previously disclosed.

The attack occurred on March 3,when a drone bypassed air defenses in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter and struck the American compound. A second drone followed, hitting the same location and causing another explosion.

The strikes, which took place at night,breached a secure part of the embassywhere hundreds of employees would typically work, severely damaging three floors.The CIA station was among the affected areas.

According to the report,Saudi officials initially downplayed the attack, describing it as a minor fire with limited damage, but U.S. officials said the fire lasted for hours and caused significant, irreparable damage to parts of the embassy.

Later that night,additional drones were intercepted, with debris landing near a preschool. One drone appeared to target the residence ofthe top U.S. diplomat in Saudi Arabia, located only a few hundred feet from the embassy.

Officials saidthat had the attack occurred during working hours, it could have resulted in mass casualties, underscoring what they described as Iran’s ability to strike U.S. assets once thought to be secure.

“It was able to produce an indigenously made weapon, fire it across hundreds of miles and put it into the embassy of their top opponent, which means they could have hit anything they wanted in the city,” said Bernard Hudson, a former CIA counterterrorism chief with extensive experience in Persian Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia.

“There’s been a complete blackout on the actual amount of damage done to these places,”he said about U.S. embassies and bases.

“That feeds suspicions that a lot more damage may have actually happened.”

Regional tensions have escalated since the United States and Israel launched a joint offensive on Iran on Feb. 28, killing more than 1,340 people to date, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel,as well as Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries hosting U.S. military assets.

The administration of US President Donald Trump has requested $152 million from Congress to restore the Alcatraz prison. Democrats have slammed the plans as “lunacy” and vowed to block their implementation.

Originally a fortress sitting on the eponymous island in the San Francisco Bay, the correctional facility housed inmates from 1934 until 1963, when it was closed due to high operating costs. Among those held at Alcatraz were such notorious ​criminals as ⁠mobster Al Capone and George “Machine Gun” Kelly. The prison was considered one of the country’s most secure facilities, with no ⁠successful escapes officially recorded.

Presently, Alcatraz is a major tourist attraction in the region, run by the National Park Service.

In a request to Congress for the 2027 fiscal year published on Friday, the Trump administration proposed to “rebuild Alcatraz as a state-of-the-art secure prison facility,” requesting “$152 million to cover the first year of project costs.”

Trump first floated the idea in a post on Truth Social last May, writing: “When we were a more serious Nation, in times past, we did not hesitate to lock up the most dangerous criminals, and keep them far away from anyone they could harm. That’s the way it’s supposed to be.”

“That is why, today, I am directing the Bureau of Prisons, together with the Department of Justice, FBI, and Homeland Security, to reopen a substantially enlarged and rebuilt ALCATRAZ,” he said at the time.

Several months later, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and former Attorney General Pam Bondi inspected the island, with the latter saying that the “terrific facility” could “hold illegal aliens.”

Commenting on the Trump administration’s latest funding request, former Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi wrote on X that the “proposal is absurd on its face and should be rejected outright.”

“I will work with my colleagues in the Congress to use every parliamentary and budgetary tactic available to block this lunacy,” she vowed.

Democratic Senator Scott Wiener, who represents San Francisco, similarly accused Trump of seeking to destroy a “top tourist attraction to turn it back into a failed exorbitantly expensive prison.”

A U.S. Airforce officer whose plane was shot down in Iran was rescued by U.S. forces early Sunday after evading capture for more than a day in enemy territory, President Trump announced on social media.

George Washington and the Plaque Behind his Sarcophagus

If you visit Mount Vernon, George Washington’s home, you can see where he and his beloved wife, Martha, are buried. Behind their two sarcophagi are the words of Jesus, chiseled in stone, from John 11:25-26 from the King James Version: “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live…”

George and Martha affirmed their belief in the resurrection of the Lord regularly at church, as they arose with the rest of the congregation and read aloud the words of the Apostles’ Creed, which affirms that historical event.

Founding Father Roger Sherman and “the Resurrection of the Dead.”

Roger Sherman from Connecticut not only signed the Declaration of Independence, but 11 years later, he played a significant role in the Constitutional Convention. He proposed a great compromise that “prevented a stalemate between states during the creation of the United States Constitution.” He argued that big states and little states each should have the same number of senators, while the number of representatives depended on the population of each. Adopting his idea helped them break a logjam in the proceedings.

Roger Sherman declared, “That the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are a revelation from God, and a complete rule to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy him.” And, of course, the New Testament could not be clearer that Jesus rose from the dead, bodily.

Sherman also said, “I believe that the souls of believers are at their death made perfectly holy, and immediately taken to glory: that at the end of this world there will be a resurrection of the dead, and a final judgement of all mankind.”

Founding Father Elias Boudinot on “the Resurrection of the Savior of Mankind.”

Before the Constitution, there was the Articles of Confederation, in effect from 1781 to 1789. We actually had a handful of presidents of the United States under that document’s governance. (George Washington is our first president under the Constitution, which has been in effect since 1789.) Boudinot of New Jersey was one of those earlier presidents. Later, as a Congressman, he helped frame the Bill of Rights (1791).

Boudinot once stated, “The deliverance of the children of Israel from a state of bondage to an unreasonable tyrant was perpetuated by the Paschal lamb, and enjoining it on their posterity as an annual festival forever....The resurrection of the Savior of mankind is commemorated by keeping the first day of the week.”

American commandos carried out a risky mission in Iran to extract an injured crew member who bailed out when a U.S. fighter jet was shot down on Friday.

Here’s the latest.

An Air Force weapons officer whose fighter jet had been shot down in Iran wasrescued by U.S. Special Operations forces in a risky Saturday night mission that took commandos deep into enemy territory, said current and former U.S. officials briefed on the operation.

President Trump confirmed in a social media postjust after midnight that the stranded officer had been brought out of Iran safely by U.S. forces. “He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine,” Mr. Trump said. He added that there were no U.S. casualties.

The rescue came after a life-or-death race between U.S. and Iranian forces that stretched over two days to reach theinjured airman, who evaded Iranian for more than 24 hours in mountainous territory with little more than a pistol.

As U.S. forces converged on the downed airman, a firefight erupted, a former senior military official briefed on the operation said. In the end, the United States extracted the officerin an operation that involved hundreds of special operations troops.

The two members of the F-15E Strike Eagle, the first lost to enemy fire in the monthlong war, had both ejected from the cockpit on Friday after Iran’s military shot down the plane. The jet’s pilot was quickly rescued, but its weapons systems officer could not be found, setting off an urgent search with major consequences for President Trump and for the war the United States and Israel launched on Feb. 28.

Rescue planes flew the weapons officer, who was not identified by name, to Kuwait for medical treatment, one senior U.S. military official said.

There was a final obstacle, however, that delayed the rescue. Two transport planes that were supposed to carry the commandos and the airman to safety got stuck at a remote base in Iran, the official said.Three new planes were flown in to extract the U.S. forces, who blew up the two disabled planes to keep them out of Iranian hands.

Petrochemical factories hit: Israel on Saturday struck the Mahshahr petrochemical complex, a sprawling industrial center in Iran’s southwest that plays a significant role in the country’s economy. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel said the targeted sites were part of a “money machine” that brought in revenues for the Iranian government. At least five people were killed and 170 others injured in the attack on the major oil industry hub, state media in Iran reported.

Iranian missiles: After its underground missile bunkers and silos are bombed, Iran digs them out and returns them to operation within hours, according to U.S. intelligence reports. Iran on Saturday fired ballistic missiles at Israel, lightly wounding four, according to the authorities. Despite the U.S.-Israeli campaign, Iran still possesses powerful military capabilities. A “Four Weeks of Power” training series is organized and led by Free the Future, the Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools, New York University’s Steinhardt Metro Center and the Midwest Academy.

A student at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego was suspended after posting a pro-Immigration and Customs Enforcement flyer reading, “We [heart] ICE – Real Americans,” following an anti-ICE walkout on campus, according to the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression.

Student-led anti-ICE walkouts have continued to rise nationwide. In 2026 alone, more than 300 such walkouts and protests have taken place. Various organizations have led training programs within K–12 schools, and the National Education Association has provided $1.7 million in funding to a May Day 2026 training toolkit that includes anti-U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement messaging, according to an investigation by Defending Education.

A “Four Weeks of Power” training series is organized and led by Free the Future, the Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools, New York University’s Steinhardt Metro Center and the Midwest Academy.

Torrey Pines school officials reportedly claimed the student's flyer was “harassment” and “intimidation,” leading to the student's suspension and prompting concerns from free speech advocates.

“Schools cannot favor one viewpoint over another. When students express themselves non-disruptively, the First Amendment guarantees their right to freedom of speech, regardless of what opinion they share,” Conor Fitzpatrick, senior attorney at FIRE, told The Center Square.

Midwest Academy has received $1,735,000 since 2015. The NEA funding has supported trainings and organizing efforts that promote demonstrations calling for policies like taxing the wealthy, opposing ICE and expanding democracy, according to materials outlined in the toolkit.

At the school level, the toolkit encourages participants to stage “walk-ins,” where students and supporters gather on campus to protest or “celebrate” issues related to school conditions and public policy.

“It should be deeply concerning that one of the suggested tactics is to enter schools to protest against policies they don’t like,” Rhyen Staley, director of research at Defending Education, said in a statement. “Putting children's education and safety at risk for political gain is unethical and immoral.”

The Center Square reached out to Defending Education for further comment but has not received a response.

Fitzpatrick said punishing students for expressing certain viewpoints while allowing others raises concerns about viewpoint discrimination.

“Any time a student is punished for non-disruptive speech, it makes others scared to exercise their own free speech rights,” Fitzpatrick said. “We expect schools to prepare students for real life, and in life, students will have co-workers, neighbors and elected officials who may not talk, think or pray the same way they do.”

Fitzpatrick added that, generally, speech in schools rises to the level of punishable harassment only if it is “so severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive” that it effectively denies other students equal access to educational opportunities. He said intimidation must meet a high legal threshold, such as a true threat involving intent to commit unlawful violence, to be subject to discipline.

The Center Square reached out to the NEA for a comment, but has not received a response.

NGC 3310: A Starburst Spiral Galaxy

The party is still going on in spiral galaxy NGC 3310. Roughly 100 million years ago, NGC 3310 likely collided with a smaller galaxy causing the large spiral galaxy to light up with a tremendous burst of star formation. The changing gravity during the collision created density waves that compressed existing clouds of gas and triggered the star-forming party. The featured image from the Gemini North Telescope shows the galaxy in great detail, color-coded so that pink highlights gas while white and blue highlight stars. Some of the star clusters in the galaxy are quite young, indicating that starburst galaxies may remain in star-burst mode for quite some time. NGC 3310 spans about 50,000 light years, lies about 50 million light years away, and is visible with a small telescope towards the constellation of Great Bear Ursa Major.
