Democratic Socialists Are Winning Big. Now They Want Action

The Democratic Socialists of America, after a string of election victories in New York, is eager to tax the rich and enact anti-Israel policies.

On a sticky evening in July, leaders of the surging democratic socialist movement in New York City jumped onto Zoom to begin crafting the next phase of their campaign.

Democratic socialist candidates had just toppled five incumbents, capturing two House primaries in the city and a handful more in state legislative races. But with an off-cycle election year ahead, leaders in the city’s chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America were shifting their focus from winning votes to changing policy.

The group’s next order of business, its members agreed in the nearly hourlong Zoom, is topressure Gov. Kathy Hochul, a centrist Democrat, to raise income taxes on the wealthiest New Yorkerswhen the state Legislature convenes in Albany in January.

The group had failed to persuade Ms. Hochul to do so earlier this year,settling instead for a much more limited tax on multimillion-dollar second homes in New York City. But with its influence on the rise, the group believes that a broader tax-the-rich campaign may succeed next year, despite Ms. Hochul’s continued resistance.

“We brought the fight to Hochul to tax the rich last session when we had only nine socialists in the State Legislature,” Gustavo Gordillo, the co-leader of New York City’s D.S.A. chapter, said in an interview. “This cycle, our forces will be almost doubled, and there’s a whole new crew of progressive legislators who are going to demand what New Yorkers want, which is for Hochul to tax the rich.”

No one fought that war, let alone called it out. Because to call it out, you would have to call out the control mechanism of Human Resources through out corporate America. Here is another thing everyone was scared to say out loud. Since 911, the only real jobs in America, was to work for a cabal owned or controlled company, and keep your mouth shut and go along and enforce their agendas or else you get fired. And we saw this exemplified during Covid, when employees at grocers, coffee shops, banks, Walmarts, and other chains had their employees physically confront customers that didn't wear masks. They would beat them on the ground, attack in groups, and the police would only arrest the person not wearing a mask.

Everyone was intimidated by the leftist antifa tactics and afraid to offend them and call out the Jewish genocide plan. Even the Military went woke, and no one stood up to the BS. There were very few people in this country that actually physically confronted them or punched them in the fac, because everyone knew they had the protection of the police and we all saw it, time after time. No one ever paid for these crimes, they got away with destroying 50 cities, billions in property damage, and shutting down the last of mom and pop stores that the cabal did not control. We still, to this day, have not confronted the domestic enemies.

Half of the Joint Chiefs of Staff fervently favor a ground invasion of Iran, while the other half oppose an unavoidable bloodbath. Even Marine Corps Commandant General Smith cautioned President Trump and War Secretary Pete Hegseth against deploying Marines, by air or by sea, to Iran while the IRGC is still at “near full strength,” a source in Gen. Smith’s office told Real Raw News.

President Trump is under heavy pressure to end an “excursion” he said would take two weeks to complete back in February. Gas prices are spiking again. His “Freedom fuel” agenda has collapsed. Utility costs are skyrocketing, especially in coal-producing Virginia, a Republican stronghold. Iran has broken every ceasefire agreement the US offered it in good faith, imperiling not only the transit of oil but also precious fertilizer, which American farmers can no longer afford. Even Republican lawmakers like Speaker of the House Mike Johnson have urged Trump to hit Iran hard and close out the war before the protracted conflict dooms Republicans in the upcoming midterms.

Trump is strained, and the mood in the White House and the Pentagon is grim, despite Karoline Leavitt’s public-facing comments assuring Fox News audiences that war is going swimmingly, and all are united behind Trump’s mission. In Trump’s eyes, boots on the ground are the court of last resort, but besides Hawkish chiefs of staff, administration officials with an absolute dearth of military knowledge are hounding the president to deploy Marines because “That’s what we pay them for,” in Stephen Miller’s words.

President Trump, our source said, has had to reprimand Miller and others for speaking on matters outside their purview. However, Trump listens attentively—but often disagrees with—the Joint Chiefs of Staff, men who cut their teeth in the military and led troops to victory on global battlefields.

Our source wouldn’t say which chiefs took which position—except for Gen. Smith, who laid bare the tactical difficulties of successfully landing Marines in Iran.
