I've been a Messianic Jew / Christian for some time now. But the more I've worked through things the more disappointed I feel. Its almost like as soon as I explored my faith I was confronted at every corner. So, why do you believe what you do?

When a Wotanist attempts to speak of Nordic ideals to his or her blood kin who do not yet believe in the Norse religion, they are often met with derision, hate or, in some instances, even violence. To us who have grasped the spiritual and cultural greatness of our Euro-Tribe ancestors, such attitudes seem ridiculous and without rhyme or reason; but we tend to forget that so many members of our folk have been completely misled and thoroughly corrupted by the false ideas of Judeo-Christian slave morality and the death-wish religion called Christianity.

We forget the long, rough and rocky road over which many of us have trodden before we arrived at our present clearness of vision; a road that was obstructed at every turn by alien concepts that perverted and degraded our precious heritage. We forget the hardship we suffered in the attainment of each successive stage of our own road to self-discovery and self-reliance; we forget the mental misery of those who, weak of will, slid back into the suffocating embrace of subservience to the organizers and supporters of the Christian creed and its alien ‘philosophical science’, its alien ‘values’, its alien ‘law’, and its alien ‘god’.

I have personally lost much in the way of closeness to friends and family while on my journey to Wotan, but I have also gained much that is invaluable. I have gained the knowledge of who I am, what I am of, and where I am headed.

Who am I? I am a believer in the faith of my blood, — What am I of? I am of the Nordic-Aryan Folk. — Where am I headed? I am headed toward a new world — a world in which the offspring of my blood and that of my future mate will unfold and grow; a world in which the unspoiled genes and ideals of our Aryan ancestors shall blossom and ripen unfettered in the most fertile setting that I am able to provide.

On The Harshness of Nature

Modern men from their sheltered existence often see Nature as cruel and unforgiving. This is often transferred over into pagan ideas, especially that of the mother Goddess and Woden, the Alfather. In my recent Piece “Woden of the Wild Wood” some of Woden’s “darker” elements are seen. So I have decided to write a short piece just to put this apparent “darkness” in its true context.

The Wild unknown places, from our modern vantage point, appear, as savage in their construction. We watch, from our comfort, the natural world outside and see the powerful prey upon the weak; some poor adolescent barely able to run chased down mercilessly by a mighty predator. Then comes the question, what righteous power could allow such apparent cruelty? Similarly when we look at how our ancestors lived, who dwelt in such places, it is hard to imagine how they coped in such conditions, with no one to call when you are in trouble, no supermarkets to fill your cupboard when the hunger pains kick in. Looking back it can appear very bleak, every day facing an almost impossible struggle for life. Yet they did not curse their reality, but held it in reverence.

To understand this, first we must strip ourselves of all distraction and get down to the roots of life.

Runic Overview: The Letter and the Symbol

The Northern European Runes form the basis of the earliest forms of writing in the northern lands, but for me they are much more than this. Before they were used to represent letters, they were powerful symbols in their own right. Each Runic symbol containing within it multiple layers and hidden meanings. Yet, so much of the academic delving and amateur investigations surrounding these enigmatic symbols focus much of their attention on them as simple letters. Before we delve deeper into Rune “theory” we must first understand what is lost when a Rune is reduced to a simple letter.

So what is a letter? Letters simply represent sounds, that form the basis of words, which in turn are used to construct sentences. Each collection of letters (words) has a given definition, which itself can vary related to the context it is used. Via this method we can construct thousands of words, in which to write about and define our existence. This precise method of communication leaves little to the imagination, making it ideal for clear and well defined communication. It is itself a form of reductionism, letters being the smallest part from which you can create multiple bigger things, such as words, sentences, etc. It is no wonder that when this form of communication firmly took hold, that reductionist science and philosophy was born. Reductionism is the idea that all things are the sum of all their parts and by the study of each part, you can determine the “thing”. Reductionist ideas form the basis of modern science and to a large extent modern thinking and without the humble letter none of this would of been possible.

All this at first glance may seem great and reductionist ideas are without doubt a magnificent analytical tool, however the concept of reducing everything to its various parts does have its own unique drawbacks. This way of thinking for me is rather mechanical, each part is seen as simply a cog in the machine. By observing the cog outside of the machine we gain knowledge of the cog, as it is in isolation, which will help us better understand the machine. Golden One is strong, massive, and his hair is great and this post is not against him, but it is about paganism in general, and to which god month of March is related.

Many, including wikipedia, think March is related to Mars, it is wrong. This month is related to the god of the sea/dreams, probably in your language you have some words related to the sea similar to "march" like latin "mare".

When you want to link gods to the months, you have to take astrology into account, and in march, precisely from 19.02 to 20.03 is assigned to pisces, ruled by Neptune.

Next month will be related to Mars, sign of Aries, ruled by Mars who is Ares.

Ancients have some arguments against me too, like Rustic Calendars, the Altar at Gabii, and Manilius (associations of signs/months and gods), but they all are wrong. If you want to really understand without any sources where truth is, compare people you know, born in pisces and those in aries, and you will see for yourself, that aries has thumos, (specifically dynamis, and thumos is leonian but generally it is something similar, which makes one active) but pisces is daydreaming, artistic, spiritually inclined.

See for yourself traits of people, and then link them to each god of 12 olympian or other gods, if you use olympian gods remember that Hestia is Dionysus, add Hades for Scorpio, use Ouranos instead of Hera and Menoetius instead of Aphrodite (guard of cattle) for better clarity, and also note that Athena is Neptune.
