It’s worth reemphasizing that Eric Ciaramella was both the analyst behind the disputed 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment for Director Brennan and, later in 2019, involved in the contested impeachment effort. Both operations involved impeding and targeting President Donald Trump.

NASA scientist addresses mystery sightings of 'alien satellites' orbiting Earth

With Elon Musk's Starlink satellites now cluttering the night sky, identifying an asteroid or anything more unusual has become nearly impossible for stargazers.

However, a fresh analysis of night sky photographs taken before the first satellite launched in 1957 has uncovered evidence of rapidly moving objects in Earth's orbit that scientists can't explain.

The photographic plates, captured in April 1950, reveal nine fast-moving and seemingly reflective objects in near-Earth orbit.

The new analysis of the images coincides with President Trump's social media announcement that he is "directing the Secretary of War" and other government departments to locate and declassify documents concerning "alien and extraterrestrial life."

The mysterious objects were initially documented by Swedish astronomer Beatriz Villarroel, and now, former NASA developer Ivo Busko has replicated her findings – proving conclusively that something peculiar was circling our planet years before Sputnik 1 took flight.

Busko notes in a recent study: "Given that these observations were obtained at a time that predates our first artificial satellite, they become especially noteworthy in the context of SETI [The search for extraterrestrial intelligence.]"

Various theories have been proposed to account for the puzzling sightings, from meteors heading directly toward the observers' telescope, to debris from nuclear weapons tests that had been propelled high enough to achieve orbit.

But, unsurprisingly, given they appeared during one of the most active eras for UFO reports, there's a substantial group convinced these mysterious objects were spacecraft from an extraterrestrial civilization, monitoring Earth as mankind stepped into the atomic era.

Dr Villaroel herself maintains that most of the conventional theories proposed don't withstand close examination.

For instance, she argues, the notion that these fleeting, brilliant specks of light could be supernovas or similar transient cosmic events doesn't add up.

"Stars don't work on those time-scales," she told the Event Horizon podcast.

She continued: "Solar flares can happen within within a few minutes, so if you see something just appearing and disappearing you can have just a flaring object.

"You can also have after glows from gamma-ray bursts or fast radio bursts that can be seen in the optical range," Dr Villarroel pointed out.

"But the thing about the nine simultaneous transients is that you have nine of these things in a very small field of view. That doesn't go with any natural explanation."

In his follow-up research, Busko adds:

"While such transients are difficult to reconcile within a conventional astronomical framework, they are consistent with sub-second optical glints produced by sunlight reflecting from flat surfaces on rotating objects transiting above Earth's atmosphere.

"Given the potential implications for SETI-related research, establishing a robust observational basis for the reality and behaviour of these events is of clear importance."

Mainstream scientists are very reluctant to allow themselves to become associated with potential UFO research, because the mockery that still today comes from claims of "little green men" can undermine their other work.

A solar system is forming right before our telescopes

Astronomers are watching the birth of a solar system unfold right before them.

A young nearby star has revealed a second giant planet forming inside its dusty space surroundings.

Scientists confirmed the new exoplanet around the star, known as WISPIT 2, using powerful telescopes, including the European Southern Observatory, and advanced imaging techniques.

The discovery adds to earlier evidence reported last year that the system already hosted one massive Jupiter-like gas giant.

Together, the two worlds, WISPIT 2b and WISPIT 2c, sit inside a wide disk of gas and dust marked by bright rings and dark gaps — the kinds of features scientists often link to planet formation.

Directly spotting planets while they are developing is extremely difficult. By observing WISPIT 2, just 5 million years old, scientists have a case study to better understand how planetary systems — including our own — begin and evolve.

Each new detection helps researchers test ideas about how giant planets grow and shape their environment.

"WISPIT 2 is the best look into our own past that we have to date," said Chloe Lawlor, lead author of the research at the University of Galway in Ireland, in a statement.

Following the discovery of PDS 70 and its orbiting worlds, WISPIT 2 is only the second system known where multiple giant planets are forming.

In most cases, astronomers detect distant planets indirectly, by measuring how they tug on their stars or block starlight. Here, researchers can actually observe the planets themselves and study the light coming from them.

The discovery of WISPIT 2c

WISPIT 2c lies much closer to its star than the previously known planet.

While the first planet sits at a distance roughly 57 times farther than Earth's distance from the sun, the second appears at about 14 times that distance. Even so, both remain far from their star compared to planets in our solar system.

They're also much heftier than anything in our own cosmic backyard. WISPIT 2b is five times more massive than Jupiter, and WISPIT 2c is double that, according to the new research, published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters.

To confirm WISPIT 2c as a planet, the team used the Sphere instrument on ESO's Very Large Telescope in Chile, which captured an image of the object, then followed up with the Gravity+ instrument on the VLT Interferometer:

By splitting the planet's light into each color of the rainbow — a technique known as spectroscopy — scientists identified which gases were present.

The researchers saw signs of carbon monoxide, according to the paper. This chemical signature, along with the overall shape of the light spectrum, suggests the object is a young giant planet. It also makes it unlikely that what scientists have detected is just a random clump of cosmic dust.

Tracking the planet's position over time helped scientists rule out the possibility that it is a background object simply lining up by chance. Early measurements even hint at its movement, though more observations will be needed to confirm its orbit around the star.

"Finding two planets at such an early stage at the same time is almost like witnessing a rare twin birth," said Frank Eisenhauer, project leader of GRAVITY+, in a statement.

"This shows that planetary systems do not develop one after the other, but in parallel — much like our own solar system once did."

Solar system in the making

The broader disk around WISPIT 2 adds to the intrigue. Multiple bright rings, gaps between them, and a central cavity all suggest that more planets could still be in the making.

Some scientists speculate that systems like this may represent an early stage in the development of complex planetary families.

Researchers have noticed giant planets in several young systems seem to form at similar distances from their stars.

This pattern raises the possibility of a Goldilocks region — i.e., not too hot or cold — where conditions favor the growth of massive worlds. For now, that idea remains tentative.

But future giant telescopes are expected to monitor WISPIT 2 closely, tracking planetary orbits, probing atmospheres, and watching the dusty disk's changes. A smaller gap farther out in the disk is another tempting place to look, Lawlor said.

"We suspect there may be a third planet carving out this gap," Lawlor said, "potentially of Saturn mass, owing to the gap's being much narrower and shallower."

An international team of researchers led by astronomers from the University of Liège, using observations from the Japanese XRISM space telescope, has determined that mysterious X-rays from a star called Y Cassiopeia in the constellation Cassiopeia, which have puzzled astronomers for half a century, originate from a white dwarf orbiting the star.

The research team behind the discovery said that using the space telescope’s Resolve instrument to confirm the mysterious X-ray emissions source with an intensity and temperature deemed ‘incompatible’ with what one would expect from an ordinary, massive star like y Cas confirms the existence of a family of binary star systems that had been previously predicted but remained unidentified.

Mysterious Deep Space X-Rays Have Puzzled Astronomers for Half a Century

According to a statement announcing the discovery, y Cassiopeia, which was first discovered in 1866, is classified as a Be-type star.

Described as “fast-rotating massive stars that regularly eject matter,” Be stars have a disc around them formed by this ejecta, which astronomers can spot at interstellar distances due to characteristic emissions in their optical spectrum.

In 1976, observations of these emissions yielded contradictory results, leading to a mystery that persisted until the University of Liège-led discovery.

According to Yaël Nazé, an astronomer at ULiège, astronomers have proposed several possible explanations for the mysterious X-ray emissions.

Although ULiège had already ruled out the first two types of companions due to contradictions between observations and theoretical predictions, their data left open the possibility of white dwarf stars and magnetic interactions.

The BBC has announced the appointment of former Google executive Matt Brittin as its new director-general, placing the UK’s state media outlet in the hands of a tech businessman with no media experience.

In a statement on Wednesday, BBC chairman Samir Shah said Brittin will take over the reins at the broadcaster in May, six months after outgoing director-general Tim Davie announced his resignation.

KGM alleged that she became addicted to YouTube beginning around age 6 and to Instagram beginning around age 9. BANGKOK: A Thai oil tanker has safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz following diplomatic coordination between Thailand and Iran, and was not required to pay to escape the blockade, a Thai official and the oil major that owns the vessel said on Wednesday (Mar 25).

The Bangchak Corporation-owned tanker crossed the strategic waterway on Mondayafter successful talks between Thai foreign minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow and Iran's ambassador to Thailand.

"I requested that if Thai ships need to pass through the strait, could they assist in ensuring safe passage?" Sihasak told reporters late on Tuesday.

"They responded that they would take care of it and asked us to provide the names of the vessels that would be transiting."

The US-Israeli war against Iran has effectively cut off the delivery of about one-fifth of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas passing through the Strait of Hormuz, causing widespread disruption.

Since the conflict began on Feb 28,Thailand has faced soaring transportation costs and lengthening queues at its gas stations, despite assurances from the government that supplies remain sufficient.

The safe transit for the Thai tanker comes two weeks after the Thailand-flagged bulk carrier Mayuree Naree was attacked by a projectile in the strait, causing a fire onboard and forcing the crew to evacuate.

Iranian and Omani authorities have reached the vessel, but Thailand is still awaiting information on the status of three missing crew members, according to the Thai foreign ministry.

Another Thai vessel, owned by SCG Chemicals, is also awaiting clearance to transit the strait, Sihasak said.

In a statement, Bangchak said its vessel, which had been anchored in the Persian Gulf since Mar 11, was currently on its way back to Thailand. It gave credit to the coordination between Thailand's foreign ministry and Iranian authorities.

Iran has told the United Nations Security Council and the International Maritime Organization that "non-hostile vessels" may transit the strait if ‌they coordinate with Iranian authorities, Reuters reported on Tuesday.

To secure the Bangchak tanker's transit, the Thai embassy in Muscat also worked with Omani authorities, coordinating alongside Iran via its embassy in Bangkok, the Thai foreign ministry source said, asking not to be named because of the sensitivity of the issue.

In a post on X, Iran's embassy in Thailand said that passage of the Thai ship reflected the close ties between the two countries.

Lebanon’s army said on Wednesday that debris from an Iranian-made ballistic missile fell over a wide area of the country after it exploded at high altitude on March 24.

In a statement on X, the army said the missile was a “Qadr-110” with a range of about 2,000 km and likely targeted outside Lebanon.

It said the explosion was probably caused by a technical malfunction or an intercept, adding there were no interceptor missile systems inside Lebanon.

The army said it was continuing its investigation into the incident.

GEORGE BUSH INTERCONTINENTAL AIRPORT, Texas — Passengers atHouston’s largest airport felt an immediate and positive impact as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrived to work alongside unpaid TSA agents.

Screening lines that stretched to about four hours, according to airport officials, were reduced to about an hour when the ICE officers’ shift began.

Breitbart Texas arrived at Terminal A at George Bush Intercontinental Airport at about 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday. At that time, the TSA Houston Airport Security website indicated a 240-minute (4-hour) wait. After checking luggage, we were directed to the subway level two floors below to join the line for TSA screening.

The walk to the end of the line in the underground tunnel went on a half to three-quarters of a mile. The return walk while waiting in the queue took about an hour. At that point, airport guides directed us to the second floor, where a winding line continued through baggage claim and the passenger pickup lobby, eventually leading to another escalator to the main security line.

During this process, Breitbart learned that ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers were beginning to arrive for their shift.About twenty minutes later, their impact became apparent. Officers were about to relocate TSA workers from non-screening locations, freeing up more TSA agents to conduct screening operations.

Upon arrival, only the South Concourse screening line was open. As we approached the midpoint of the primary screening line, airport officials opened the North Concourse screening line, dramatically reducing wait times. Ten minutes later, we are through the checkpoint and inside the terminal’s secure area. All in all, the screening process took slightly less than two hours, thanks to the opening of the second screening line.

=•Breitbart spoke with several of the ICE officers who were working in Terminals A, D, and E on Wednesday. They told Breitbart that this was their second day of helping at the airports. On Tuesday, the officers said, lines stretched for five to six hours. By about 10 a.m. on Wednesday, that wait time was reduced to less than one hour.==

President Donald Trump expressed his gratitude to the men and women of ICE who went straight to work to help the American people in this travel crisis created by Democrats’ refusal to fund DHS. ICE officers and agents are fully funded under provisions passed by Congress in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

(ICE is probably enjoying not chasing illegals, getting in fights etc for a couple of days in the airport. And people like them there.

He was reportedly given that SSN in March 1977.

Now here’s the kicker: Ludwig spent most of his adult life in Connecticut, which explains why his SSN begins with 042 — a prefix reserved for Connecticut residents.

Obama? Never lived or worked in Connecticut. So why would he have a Social Security number tied to that state?

Some believe Dunham may have quietly found a number that belonged to someone long gone — someone not receiving benefits — and handed it off to her grandson, whose citizenship status has long been questioned by skeptics due to connections to Kenya and Indonesia.

And that’s just the beginning. If Trump — or anyone else — ever pushes past the birth certificate and straight into the mystery of this SSN, it’s going to be chaos. Kuwait said Wednesday it had foiled what itdescribed as a plot targeting state leaders and uncovered a network allegedly linked to Lebanon’s Hezbollah group.

In a statement, the Interior Ministry said the state security apparatus thwarted the planafter extensive surveillance and security monitoring operations.

Authorities arrested six suspects inside Kuwait, including five Kuwaiti nationals and one non-Kuwaiti whose citizenship had been revoked,while 14 other suspects remain abroad, according to the ministry.

The ministry said the suspects include five Kuwaiti nationals, five individualswhose Kuwaiti citizenship had been revoked, two Iranian nationals and two Lebanese nationals.

According to the statement, the network was linked to what the ministry described as the banned Hezbollah organization andhad planned assassination operations targeting state leaders, while also recruiting individuals to carry out the attacks.

Authorities said the suspects admitted to joining the group and communicating with its members, and expressedreadiness to carry out assignments aimed at harming the country’s leadership and national interests.

The ministry added that the suspects alsoconfessed to receiving advanced military training abroad, including the use of weapons and explosives, surveillance methods and assassination techniques.

They Hezbollah did not immediately comment== on the accusations, though it has denied similar allegations in recent days.

Last week, the Interior Ministry said it had foiled what itdescribed as a terror plot targeting vital facilities in the countryfollowing security surveillance and investigations, announcing thearrest of 10 Kuwaiti nationals it said were linked to Hezbollah.

Ten days earlier, the ministry also announced thedismantling of another groupcomposed of 14 Kuwaiti nationals and two Lebanese nationals, whom authorities accused of ties to Hezbollah and plotting acts aimed at destabilizing the country and undermining its sovereignty.

At the time,Lebanon strongly condemned the alleged plotsand Hezbollah’s involvement, while the group denied the accusations, describing them as “false and baseless allegations.”

NSW Premier Chris Minns has called on the Commonwealth and all states to prepare a coordinated, Covid‑era‑style response to the nation's deepening fuel crisis, arguing that any effort to curb fuel use must be unified across Australia.

'When it comes to demand management from the states, there is a principle that we think is important,' he says.

'We will be prosecuting it with the Commonwealth Government and the other states.'

During Question Time in the NSW Parliament on Tuesday, Minns said that if demand‑reduction measures become necessary, they must be implemented consistently nationwide.

'If demand management procedures are required, that might be rationing, working from home, or other programs or remedies that we can introduce into the marketplace, we firmly believe that it should be a nationally consistent approach.'

Minns warned that varying rules across borders would weaken any strategy, noting that NSW shares boundaries with the ACT, Queensland and Victoria, and residents regularly travel between them.

'Whether or not that is organised by the States but the same across jurisdictions, it is hugely important,' he says.

'We share borders with the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and Victoria.

'Many of our residents and their residents can cross borders to purchase fuel.

'We need a nationally consistent approach if and when the time comes to introduce those demand management changes.'

Minister and Coalition senator in fiery clash over fuel prices

Employment Minister Amanda Rishworth has clashed with Coalition senator Michaelia Cash during a fiery television segment over the Albanese government’s handling of the escalating fuel crisis.

Appearing on the Today show on Tuesday, Rishworth tried to reassure Australians that her government was working around the clock to get more fuel supplies from Asia.

But she struggled to provide definite answers when pressed further by Today show host Karl Stefanovic.

'What I’m saying, Karl, is there is an uncertain time,' she said.

'We don’t know how long this war is going to go on for. We don’t know what assets might be attacked in any one day.'

Senator Cash called for more practical solutions from the government, adding that Australians were 'more confused than ever.'

'Why don’t we get petrol to those actual petrol stations that have run out of fuel?' she said

'If fuel supplies are strong, the issue is actually a practical one. It is getting the fuel to Australians.'

Rishworth said that the government was working with states and territories, which were responsible for fuel distribution.

'Obviously in some places, demand has far exceeded what they were expecting,' she said.

'Perhaps Energy Minister (Chris) Bowen needs to drive the tanker himself,' Senator Cash interrupted.

Rishworh fired back: 'I didn’t hear any solutions from Michaelia.'

Dr. Robert Malone, vice chair of the committee, was appointed by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. after a purge of the previous advisers.

Dr. Robert Malone, vice chair of the federal committeethat recommends vaccines to Americans, angrily resigned his position on Tuesday.

The panel, called the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, orACIP, is currently in judicial limbo.

A federal judge ruled last week that the advisers, appointed by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,did not have the expertiseneeded to make vaccine recommendations and prevented them from meeting as planned this month. (how does a judge who has no medical training consider he can judge any of their expertise?)

The judge also blocked all of the committee’s actions to date, including decisions to rescind recommendations for some childhood vaccines.

The Department of Health and Human Services has indicated that it will appeal the rulingbut has not said when.Dr. Malone indicated that he would not rejoin the committee even if the ruling were to be overturnedor if Mr. Kennedy announced a new slate of advisers.

“If offered the opportunity to participate in a relaunched A.C.I.P., I will respectfully decline,” Dr. Malone said in a text message.

“This was not an impulsive decision,” he said.

“Hundreds of hours of uncompensated labor, incredible hate from many quarters, hostile press, internal bickering, weaponized leaking, sabotage,” he added.“I have better things to do.”

His decision to step down was previously reported by Roll Call. The health department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Dr. Malone was appointed to the vaccine panel in June, after Mr. Kennedy had fired all 17 of its previous members. A staunch opponent of mRNA Covid vaccines, Dr. Malone had been hinting that at its next meeting, the committee would take steps to curtail use of the shots.

In ruling against Mr. Kennedy and the committee earlier this month,Judge Brian Murphy, of the U.S. District Court for Massachusetts, saidthe panelists “appear distinctly unqualified” to make vaccine recommendations.

Dr. Malone took offense at those remarks, saying the judge had overlooked his contributions to mRNA technology.Dr. Malone was the first person to use the innovation that eventually poweredthe Pfizer and Moderna Covid vaccines, although his goal at the time was unrelated to vaccines.

The judge “slandered me”and “completely overlooked my actual C.V. and experience,” he told The New York Times last week.

Dr. Joseph Hibbeln, who often disagreed with Dr. Malone, said the vice chair’s stated desire to step down to avoid drama “contrasts with his prior dramatic and confusing statements.”

“It is good that Dr. Malone wishes now to decrease drama regarding vaccines,” Dr. Hibbeln said.

Dr. Malone also feuded with the staff at the health department after the ruling. He claimed in social media posts thatthe administration would name new members to the committee rather than appeal the ruling.

A spokesman for the department said at the time that Dr. Malone’s comments were baseless speculation.The feud “was the last straw,” Dr. Malone said in a message.
