Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born 270 years ago today! The Library is home to several original Mozart music manuscripts including this one, pictured with the Music Division's "Little Mozart."

Having been a child prodigy, Mozart was already quite famous by the time he wrote this at the age of 20.

The concerto manuscript was donated to the Library by Gertrude Whittall, the same musical philanthropist who donated five Stradivari instruments to the Library in 1935.
