I then get sued by them over the renovation of the dilapidated and structurally unsound former Kennedy Center, now, The Trump Kennedy Center (A show of Bipartisan Unity, a Republican and Democrat President!), where all I am doing is fixing, cleaning, running, and “sprucing up” a terribly maintained, for many years, Building, but a Building of potentially great importance. Yet, The National Trust for Historic Preservation, a Radical Left Group of Lunatics whose funding was stopped by Congress in 2005, is not suing the Federal Reserve for a Building which has been decimated and destroyed, inside and out, by an incompetent and possibly corrupt Fed Chairman. The once magnificent Building is BILLIONS over budget, may never be completed, and may never open. All of the beautiful walls inside have been ripped down, never to be built again, but the National “Trust” for Historic Preservation never did anything about it! Or, have they sued on Governor Gavin Newscum’s “RAILROAD TO NOWHERE” in California that is BILLIONS over Budget and, probably, will never open or be used. So, the White House Ballroom, and The Trump Kennedy Center, which are under budget, ahead of schedule, and will be among the most magnificent Buildings of their kind anywhere in the World, gets sued by a group that was cut off by Government years ago, but all of the many DISASTERS in our Country are left alone to die. A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the Trump administration to suspend its construction of a $400 million ballroom where it demolished the East Wing of the White House.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the Trump administration to suspend its construction of a $400 million ballroom where it demolished the East Wing of the White House, barring construction work from proceeding without congressional approval.
U.S. District Judge Richard Leon in Washington granted a preservationist group’s request for a preliminary injunction that temporarily halts President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom project.
Leon, who was nominated to the bench by Republican President George W. Bush, concluded that the National Trust for Historic Preservation is likely to succeed on the merits of its claims because “no statute comes close to giving the President the authority he claims to have.”
“The President of the United States is the steward of the White House for future generations of First Families. He is not, however, the owner!” the judge wrote.
Leon suspended enforcement of his order for 14 days, acknowledging that the case “raises novel and weighty issues, that halting an ongoing construction project “may raise logistical issues.” He also recognized that the administration is likely to appeal his decision.
The judge ruled that any construction work that's necessary to ensure the safety and security of the White House is exempt from the scope of the injunction. Leon said he reviewed material that the government privately submitted to him before concluding that halting construction wouldn't jeopardize national security.
Trump, in a social media post, criticized the trust for suing him over a project that he said is being built at no cost to taxpayers. “Doesn’t make much sense, does it?” he wrote.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the ruling.
The preservationists sued to obtain an order pausing the ballroom project until it undergoes multiple independent reviews and receives congressional approval.
The White House announced the ballroom project over the summer. By late October, Trump had demolished the East Wing to make way for a ballroom that he said would fit 999 people. The White House said private donations, including from Trump himself, would pay for the planned construction of a 90,000-square-foot (8,400-square-meter) ballroom.
Trump proceeded with the project before seeking input from a pair of federal review panels, the National Capital Planning Commission and the Commission of Fine Arts. Trump has stocked both commissions with allies.
On Feb. 26, Leon rejected the preservationist group’s initial bid to temporarily halt the ballroom’s construction. He said the privately funded group had based its challenge on a “ragtag group” of legal theories and would have a better chance of success if it amended the lawsuit, which it did.
The administration has said above-ground construction on the ballroom would begin in April.
“We are two weeks away,” plaintiffs’ attorney Thaddeus Heuer said during a March 17 hearing. “The imminence is now imminent.”
During the hearing, Leon sounded skeptical of what he referred to as the government’s “shifting theories and shifting dynamics” for its arguments in the case.
“I don’t think it’s a new theory,” Justice Department attorney Jacob Roth told the judge.
Leon expressed frustration at Roth’s attempts to equate the massive ballroom project with relatively modest construction work at the White House under previous administrations.
“This is an iconic symbol of this nation,” the judge said.
The administration argued that other presidents didn’t need congressional approval for previous White House renovation projects, large and small.
“Many of those projects were highly controversial in their time yet have since become accepted — even beloved — parts of the White House,” government attorneys wrote.

Federal judge rules Trump order ending NPR and PBS funding was unconstitutional

A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that a key part of President Trump’s executive order targeting NPR and PBS was unconstitutional, blocking the administration from denying federal funds based on editorial viewpoint.
The ruling will not reverse the Trump-led campaign to strip NPR and PBS stations of federal funding. Last summer, Republicans in Congress rescinded federal support over objections from public media advocates.
Nevertheless, the ruling is a First Amendment victory. “Today’s ruling is a decisive affirmation of the rights of a free and independent press — and a win for NPR, our network of stations, and our tens of millions of listeners nationwide,” NPR CEO Katherine Maher said in a statement.
“The court made clear that the government cannot use funding as a lever to influence or penalize the press, whether as a national news service or a local newsroom,” Maher said.
The ruling could — emphasis on could — lead to some funding for PBS and NPR in the future.
That’s because public broadcasters have also received grants from federal agencies in the past. For instance, in May 2025, the Department of Education scrapped $23 million in funding for educational TV shows — a move tied to Trump’s executive order that Judge Randolph Moss has now deemed unlawful.
The executive order that prompted the public broadcasters to sue, titled “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Biased Media,” directed agencies to terminate “any direct or indirect funding of NPR and PBS.”
“The First Amendment draws a line, which the government may not cross, at efforts to use government power — including the power of the purse — ‘to punish or suppress disfavored expression’ by others,” Moss wrote Tuesday, quoting a 2024 Supreme Court ruling.
Trump’s executive order targeting NPR and PBS “crosses that line,” Moss wrote, because it “singles out two speakers and, on the basis of their speech, bars them from all federally funded programs.”
“The First Amendment does not tolerate viewpoint discrimination and retaliation of this type,” Moss wrote.
The judge issued a permanent injunction barring the Trump administration from implementing the executive order.
Trump’s order was part of a multi-pronged effort to weaken public broadcasting in the United States. It culminated with the congressional rescission of future funding that had already been allocated for public media.
The cutbacks took effect last fall and have had a variety of impacts on local stations across the country, as well as the national PBS and NPR operations. Some stations have laid off staffers and cut back on programming.
But the networks have remained on the air, despite Trump’s remark in January that “they’re sort of gone now, I guess, I heard they closed up. They were terrible.”
Both NPR and PBS filed lawsuits alleging First Amendment violations — in part, public media executives said, to defend the principle that the government cannot use the levers of power to punish speech.
On Tuesday afternoon PBS said in a statement, “We’re thrilled with today’s decision declaring the executive order unconstitutional.”
“As we argued, and Judge Moss ruled, the executive order is textbook unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination and retaliation, in violation of longstanding First Amendment principles,” the network said. “At PBS, we will continue to do what we’ve always done: serve our mission to educate and inspire all Americans as the nation’s most trusted media institution.”

A bipartisan group of Japanese lawmakers decided on Tuesday to propose establishing a specialized department to deal with unidentified flying objects (UFOs) to the government.
The group held a general meeting in the Diet Building on the day.
Chairman Yasukazu Hamada, a former defense minister, spoke about the phenomenon in July last year when suspicious lights were spotted at the Genkai nuclear power plant in Saga Prefecture.

A British tabloid has latched onto a Maine candidate’s achilles heel stemming from his allegedly playing fast and loose with the “Epstein files.”
SeemsGraham Platner has his own Epstein baggageeven while he’s blasting the GOP senator he could well be facing come November for a cover-up.
The Daily Mail is citing a piece from the Maine Small Business Development Centers reporting thatPlatner received $20,000 from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation five years ago to fund his oyster business.
Spyros Niarchos, on the foundation board, “has been described by Greek newspaper Documento as a member ofthe ‘inner circle of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein,”the Daily Mail reports.
Niarchos appeared in several of the files relating to Epstein that have been released by the U.S. Department of Justice in recent months.
Word of the possible Platner/Epstein connection comes in the wake of golden boy Platner complaining that U.S. Sen. Susan Collins failed to vote to release the Epstein files.
Platner better be careful of what he wishes for.
If he wins the Democrat nomination over Gov. Janet Mills – as the polls suggest may indeed happen – he could well be facing Collins in the general election this fall.

Democratic Senate hopeful Graham Platner has raged against the so-called 'Epstein class' butrecords reveal that he has accepted thousands from a family foundation of the pedophile's associate.
Platner is running in the primary election against Maine's governor, Janet Mills, for a chance to square off with incumbent Republican Susan Collins in November.
He has targeted GOP incumbent Collins for not voting to release the Epstein files.
And he's accused her of 'protecting pedophiles and abusers,' while questioning 'whose bidding is she doing?'
Now, Platner's own ties to Epstein's larger empire are coming back to bite him.
Platner, a veteran of both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, moved back to Maine in 2018 to work on an oyster farm started by one of his friends and eventually took over the business.
Per an article from the Maine Small Business Development Centers, Platner received a $20,000 grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation in 2021 to fund the oyster farm's growth.
The foundation, based in Athens, Greece, was established after the death of Greek shipping magnate Stavros Niarchos I in 1996, and currently lists his son, Spyros Niarchos, as a board member.
Spyros Niarchos has been described by Greek newspaper Documento as a member of the 'inner circle of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.'
He appeared in several of the files relating to Epstein that have been released by the Department of Justice in recent months.
The appearance of an individual's name in the files is not necessarily evidence of wrongdoing.
In a January 2018 conversation between Epstein and a redacted person, Epstein asks the other person 'Is there a new boy?,' to which the other person responds 'Yes, there is an older man, you will be proud of me.'
Epstein asks who the older man is, and the other person reveals that the older man is Spyros Niarchos, then tells Epstein not to tell anyone.
In subsequent emails in the same thread, Epstein calls Spyros Niarchos 'very interesting' and says they 'shared a mutual friend in the 80s,' who was a 'beautiful Venezuelan girl.'
In April 2018, Epstein emailed a redacted person, saying 'I need a girls with great task to help decorators. Help dinners, and flowers design etc the island. HELP,' to which the redacted person replied, 'What nationality and age do you want? I am in saint moritz with Spyros now!' Epstein replied, 'up to 30yrs.'
Other members of the Niarchos family are also named in the files, including Stavros Niarchos III, the shipping mogul's grandson, who co-hosted a 2013 Halloween party Epstein was invited to attend.
Stavros Niarchos III has dated Paris Hilton in the past, and is now married to Dasha Zhukova, ex-wife of former Chelsea football club owner Roman Abramovich.
The Daily Mail has reached out to both the Platner campaign and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation for comment.
The Democratic Senate hopeful has also come under fire for his Nazi tattoo after it was revealed he had an SS skull and bones inked on his chest while serving in the Marines.
Last year, he was plunged into scandal when a video showed him drunk and shirtless, sporting a 'Totenkopf' on the left side of his chest, a symbol of the Nazi's paramilitary wing.
Platner released a statement last fall sharing that he had covered the tattoo, adding that he wasn't aware it was an SS symbol when he drunkenly visited a tattoo parlor with his Marine Corps. buddies in Split, Croatia, in 2007.
'I absolutely would not have gone through life having this on my chest if I knew that – and to insinuate that I did is disgusting. I already had the tattoo covered with a new design,' the Democratic candidate said.
In a video posted on X, Platner showed off the new tattoo.
'It's a Celtic knot with some imagery around dogs, because my wife Amy and I, love dogs,' he said.

A shocking claim from former congressman Matt Gaetz has stirred debate after he alleged the existence of secret 'alien-human hybrid breeding programs' during an appearance on 'The Benny Show', clips of which premiered on Tuesday, March 31.
Speaking with Benny Johnson, Gaetz said he was briefed by a uniformed US Army official about the alleged operations, though he acknowledged he had not verified the claims.

Laying out the claim, Gaetz said, “I had someone come and brief me who was in a military uniform that was briefing me on the locations of hybrid breeding programs where captured aliens were breeding with humans to create some hybrid race that could engage in intergalactic communication.”
He added, “An actual uniformed member of the United States Army briefed me on that.”
He went further, saying, “What they explained is that the military ran a very secret program where aliens were in forced breeding programs with humans that had been abducted from war zones and from even the caravans of migrants.”
Gaetz specified the scale of the alleged operation, stating, “What a whistleblower was telling me is that there were like between six and 12 locations around the country where this happened.”
He also described the proposed exposure plan: “What he wanted was a group members of Congress to all show up at the same time at all of these different locations so that any of those activities could not be moved.”
However, he admitted the limitation, saying, “It’s a physical impossibility to get members of Congress to simultaneously show up at like eight locations at one time.”
At the same time, Gaetz made it clear that the claims were uncertain.

Linking the claims to past testimony, Gaetz said, “That was the testimony of David Grusch, that in crashes of craft recovered by the CIA, it wasn’t just hard materials. It was also biologics, but that they couldn’t identify a human source of those biologics.”
For additional context, he pointed to his own access to classified programs: “I sat on the emerging threats subcommittee. had access to DARPA, had special compartmentalized clearance. I even got to see things that other members of Congress didn’t get to see.”
He also suggested the US may have benefited from unknown technology, stating, “I believe that the United States military has benefited from the acquisition of technology and the reverse engineering of that technology.”
However, he stopped short of confirming extraterrestrial origins, adding, “Do I know its origin from aliens or out of space? I just know it’s not something that is indigenous to our own defense ecosystem.”

RIYADH — Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile and 10 drones early Tuesday, authorities said.
Ministry of Defense spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki said the missile was heading toward the Eastern Province when it was intercepted.
He added that 10 drones were intercepted over the past several hours.
Separately, Civil Defense said debris from intercepted drones fell on residential areas in Al-Kharj.
In one incident, debris struck three homes and several vehicles, causing two minor injuries. One of the injured was discharged after receiving treatment. Limited material damage was reported.

BREAKING: Enoch Burke’s mother and sister arrested and jailed
Martina and Ammi Burke were arrested by Gardaí today at Castlerea Prison after visiting jailed schoolteacher Enoch Burke, their son and brother.
Judge Brian Cregan sentenced them to two weeks in prison after they spoke out against his lies and unlawful actions in the case of Enoch Burke.
Martina and Ammi Burke had been teaching in Castlebar this morning before travelling to Castlerea for their scheduled visit at 2.15pm.
As they left the prison after concluding the visit, Gardaí were waiting outside to arrest them.
Lies have been told from the bench since September 2022 when Enoch Burke was first taken from his teaching post at Wilson’s Hospital School and thrown into a jail cell.
He refused to call a student by a new name and the “they” pronoun. He was subsequently suspended and has now spent over 600 days in prison.
Ireland’s church leaders have maintained a treacherous silence on this issue. Archbishops Eamon Martin and John McDowell speak frequently about battlefields far away - Gaza, Ukraine, the Middle East - but are silent on the battlefields in the schools of Ireland, on their own doorstep. Children in the classroom are being educated in every form of sexual perversion.
Martina and Ammi Burke have now been sent to Mountjoy Women’s Prison because they refused to be silent in the face of gross injustice from the bench.

President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order Tuesday cracking down on mail-in voting across the country, the Daily Caller learned first.
The executive order will require the Secretary of Homeland Security to create a list of verified U.S. citizens who are eligible to vote in each state with the Social Security Administration’s help, according to a fact sheet shared with the Caller. The presidential action will also require that the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) only send absentee ballots to those on each state’s approved mail-in ballot list. Ballots will now have specific secure envelopes, with unique barcodes for tracking, the order mandates.
States will be provided with their revised list of confirmed voters no less than 60 days before each federal election under the order.

The executive order also tells the U.S. Attorney General to prioritize investigating and prosecuting anyone accused of sending ballots to ineligible voters, the Caller learned. States that disobey the order may lose federal funds under the presidential action.
“Election integrity has always been a top priority for President Trump, and the American people sent him back to the White House because they overwhelmingly supported his commonsense election integrity agenda,” Abigail Jackson, a White House spokeswoman told the Caller in a statement.
“The President will do everything in his power to defend the safety and security of American elections and to ensure that only American citizens are voting in them. Congress should also expeditiously pass President Trump’s SAVE America Act to protect elections for generations to come,” she added.
The action comes as the U.S. Senate continues to debate the SAVE America Act. Under the legislation, voters would be required to provide proof of U.S. citizenship and ID, states would be required to clean up their voter rolls and approved reasons for mail-in ballots would be restricted.
